Fantom could feel the cool water lapping at her pale, porcelain skin. The hole in the boat was small, but more than enough to sink. If she didn't break free soon, she'd be an anchor at the bottom of the sea!
All she had to do was break the heavy leather bonds around her wrists, or maybe the thick spreader bar keeping her trapped. Or manage to untangle the thick ropes around her legs and elbows. Or maybe get out the layers of gag that kept her from squeaking for help. Or maybe wait for the tide to take her back to shore. Or develop the ability to breathe underwater.
She was sure she'd think of something. Soon, vengeance on the ninja that did this to her would follow, and it would be swift and terrible! All she needed was to escape this, first...
