I enjoyed writing this piece. I like short fiction. I like detective stories. More than anything else, I like novelty - I have a serious problem with staying on track. It's why some of my commissions are literally years overdue. I'm the worst.
But Nalen is awesome; a fabulous design and lots of built-in hooks for kinky fun. Writing this was a treat.
As always, there are kinky elements. Plenty of them. It's hard to balance fetish fun with providing an interesting puzzle. This one focuses more on the crime-solving than the kink, but I think readers will find both in appreciable measure.
Writing credits takes forever! Definitely took a very long time. Also, coding the end-area where you make guesses took way longer than I would have liked.
