The lights were at their normal luminosity.
The halls were at their standard temperature.
The air was its normal level of ionzation; its precise mix and composition was utterly, completely standard and predictable.
The doors slid open with their normal hum.

Your bunk was different in every way. Objects had been moved. Some had been rearranged. The bed was made. The viewscreen was set to observation mode, displaying an endless panorama of space.

The scent was different, as well. There was an unfamiliar musk; the scent of another person mixed with the familiar odor of rubber and polish.

The gentle ambient hum was interrupted with an oily squeak. She shifted as she floated, crossing her legs. Your eyes naturally ran up and down her shapes, starting at her boots, to her knees, to her wide hips and plump rear. She was grinning, which was good. Her green eyes were piercing, brilliant, and contrasted with the dark red of her lips. It wasn't entirely clear if
that was good or not.

"Step inside. Please. Shut the door. We have much to discuss."
