I had a couple of thoughts while writing this. In fact, I guess I have had a lot on my mind.<br /><br />I just want to have fun online. Which is important and all. And I am having a lot of fun.<br /><br />But it's weird, being a writer. A friend of mine said quite bluntly that she was frustrated that artists on FA can charge great sums for art, but it is quite impossible to be commissioned for writing.<br /><br />And I guess that's fine. I don't really want to be commissioned because I'm lazy, but at the same time I wish that I could be.<br /><br />I've also been trying to break into non-erotic literature. I think I am a capable writer, as evidenced by my short article on BDSM. I thought it flowed well and was fun to read.<br /><br />But recently I tried to write a story for a friend and found that I could hardly do it! The ideas simply weren't flowing. It's hard; I'm used to writing short stories, ones which involve characters that I know a little about but give me freedom.<br /><br />So with this one, it took me a -long- time to come up with something. I wanted to have <a href="https://airrider1.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="https://a.deviantart.net/avatars/a/i/airrider1.jpg" alt=":iconairrider1:" title="Airrider1"/></a>'s character Maurice (or Airrider) be totally represented as his true mental lovechild; it's the same thing with the current art jam - I didn't want to step on <a href="https://we-r-nomad.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="https://a.deviantart.net/avatars/w/e/we-r-nomad.gif?2" alt=":iconwe-r-nomad:" title="we-r-nomad"/></a>'s idealogical playground at all, so I toned down the "FMP" themes quite a bit from what I originally intended.<br /><br /><br />So in short, I can say that -<br /><br />-Happy Birthday, Airrider! <img src="https://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/biggrin.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="=D" title="=D (Big Grin)"/><br />-I'm lazy with requests<br />-I wish that writers were as popular as artists, though I know this to be impossible<br />-It's hard to write for well-established characters or settings, which is one reason I shy away from defining some things<br />-I tried really hard to help simulate the train of thought that goes through one's head when deep in thought<br />-I hope you enjoyed this story!<br /><br /><br />Hey, here's some space for viewer participation.
