Mitre held a "clicker" style remote control in one hand, and ran her fingers through her hair with her other. She clicked it, and a short video played on the office viewscreen.
Products flashed through. The last shot was of her - Ms. Mitre D. Bel - standing in front of the camera while holding one of their many non-lethal devices. The Mitre on the screen proudly pronounced her company's slogan.
"Oasis Defense; Quality you can touch, endurance that will never vanish. Oasis is the real deal."
Mitre clicked it again. The screen-Mitre once again read her statement. Mitre idly tapped the remote against her lips. She looked down as she paced. Most of the visitors to her office actually looked down at their feet while navigating it. It wasn't deference - although she did demand deference, it wasn't in the "head-down, don't say anything" sort of way. It was, in fact, the massive, elongated, overdesigned desk that was just about the most trip and stub-inducing thing in the entire building.
It was just a sign of her stubbornness. Mitre didn't give up, ever - and if she did give up, it was only because she was preparing a counter-strike.
The creature in her room was, just like her desk, a piece of furniture - and also a perfect sign of her desire to never leave a job undone. (Especially not when it meant showing up MirageCorp.) The decoration's name was Elise. She had short, purple hair, bright eyes, and an employer that had made the mistake of crossing Mitre D. Bel.
"Out of curiosity, Elise - did you enjoy seeing your little glitch bear fruit? Did you salivate at the thought of a MirageCorp rival being humiliated in public?"
Elise shook her head. "That wasn't us! You must have used our product wrong."
"Used your product..." Mitre muttered under her breath. She tapped the clicker again.
A video taken the day before played. Mitre, meeting with others inside her facility, was more than eager to show off new non-lethal disruption technology. "This new high-tech coating will "null" intruders before they have the chance to do any real harm. Observe me on this test subject..."
Video-Mitre raised a small hand-sized projector, aimed it at a restrained test subject, pulled the trigger... and dropped it to the ground.
The shaky hand-held camera lost the picture for a moment. When it regained control, the brown-haired exec was encased from the nose down in a thin, shiny, stretchy permeable material. Mitre sucked in and chewed on it as it filled her mouth. Black latex squeezed at her chest. Her arms, pinned to her sides, flailed uselessly. She fell to her side and squirmed up and down, gyrating somewhat like a snake trying to coil.
"HMMMNG! MMN-MMNGH!"
Mitre furiously tried to stand up or to roll away. Broken pieces of the remote lay on the ground, and she only served to scatter them with her furious grunting. She humped at the ground, trying to get purchase and remove the latex layer. Nope. The cocoon held. As it was supposed to. It tightened in places, too - showing off Mitre's form to the public, squeezing her tight like a vac-bed, and giving a much more intimate look at the CEO than most interviews would provide!
The video ended. Mitre tapped her feet. Her southern accent stretched out her words.
"Well, look at that."
Elise shifted. "Well, the product worked..."
"My butt it worked! I ended up squirming and encased in latex for twenty minutes. While people were watching! While investors were watching!"
Elise blushed. "I mean, it worked though. It encased the target - "
"The target was twenty feet away! And the only way that it coulda happened was your interference. Admit it. You and Hope do work for Mirage and that pale-skinned pain-in-my-butt Phantom. You sabotaged me. You broke our contract so that Oasis Defense wouldn't have to compete with Mirage!"
"We do a lot of contracts. We didn't sabotage anything!"
"Enough. Enough!! Clearly, you don't have any respect for your employer or business partners. Dearie me, I'm going to have to teach you some courtesy..."
Twenty minutes later, Elise was on her knees - which was probably more fitting a way to pay defence to Mitre. She wore a thin, only-slightly-shiny catsuit that went from her toes to her neck. It was a thick one; it felt stiff and unyielding. Elise was held by her wrists and ankles in snug shackles, her thighs seated on a small sybian-style pedestal.
Properly encased, heavily restrained, Elise didn't have any chance of getting up or getting out. She was going to be a sweet little decoration for Mitre's own amusement. And Mitre was already having fun.
A thin smart-latex collar and cowl around her neck kept her head solidly in place; with an electrical current, she could freeze it up, locking Elise's neck in place. A rubber gag kept her mouth open - and allowed a good grunt or moan whenever necessary. And it was necessary ; Elise was being properly trained.
Earplugs and eye-covering lenses were forcibly feeding information into Elise's mind. She moaned and mewled, squirming on the pedestal . She flexed her toes and jiggled her bound arms; as she squirmed, her breasts jiggled with none of Elise's normal dignity - but all the shiny, squirmy goodness of a statue designed to delight. Mitre smiled. A training video started to play for Elise - though this one featured a somewhat more scandalously-dressed Mitre.
"Listen and obey... Oasis Defense... quality you can touch..."
