The wrapping is designed to shrink in contact with heat, specifically your heat and provide life support. It's stretchy, all right, and pretty smooth - when and if you get out of here, think of it next time you use mundane duct tape!

A pair of high-grade goggles will keep you "entertained" during your internment. They're made for comfort and wearability first and foremost, and the mental conditioning second. They might not be fashionable, but they'll still catch anyone's gaze - after all, under all that thick ████████ it's the only thing poking through.
