In the early 22nd century, thanks to the overabundance of technology and the Internet, social norms have begun to deteriorate to the point where men and women rarely enter into romantic relationships or have sex. Likewise, advances in medicine have led to the rise and legalization of organ farming – cloning replacement parts in laboratories. Organs can be grown separately, or as almost complete bodies – however laws are in place that dictate that if human clones are to be harvested for parts, they must be grown infertile and without heads. Thus, if the growth of a head is suppressed, the clone has no brain and is not legally a person.

Of course, it was not long before people started finding other uses for headless clones. The decay of social interaction and fear of the opposite gender led to a sharp decline in human sexuality, but the urges and frustration remained.  Thanks to bioengineering technology, these organ farms also started selling the most advanced and realistic sex toys ever made. These headless clones were typically fitted with a small control device at the top of the neck where the head would normally be.
