Chapter 33 – Six

At one of Jazmyn’s now twice-a-week visits to her Ob/Gyn Dr. Parker, he mentioned that since natural sextuplets were so exceedingly rare, the story of their birth was going to be a major news story locally and would likely even be reported by national and international news outlets.  The hospital would issue a press release within hours after their birth, and they’d want to hold a press conference within a day.  The media would want to interview both her and Victor and see the babies.  Like it or not, they were going to be celebrities.

He said to her, “This is going be like when your mother had quintuplets, except it’ll be even higher profile than that.  I’m sure you’re not old enough to remember that well, so you’ll probably want to talk to your parents about it to get an idea of what to expect.  I recall there was a problem then, where your mother refused to be seen by or interviewed by the press.

“I talked to the hospital public relations officer about it.  The obstetrician and the hospital protected your mother from the press, but they weren’t happy they had to do that, and the press was extremely frustrated by it.  They wouldn’t tell me the reason why your mother was so publicity-averse.  I’d like to know in advance whether you’re going to be that way, and if so, the reason why.  I’ll work with you, but I’ll need to know what’s going on.”

“No, I have no reason to do any of the hide-and-seek with the press that my mother went through.  She did have a very good reason to do that, though,” Jazmyn said without elaboration.

“The press is certainly going to make the connection between your mother and you, because it adds to the story.  The daughter of a woman who had quints is now having sextuplets of her own, in the very same hospital.  They’ll very likely want to interview her now as well, and if she refuses, they’re going to ask you why she was and still is so secretive.  You’ll need to be prepared to give a response, even if it doesn’t answer their question.

“I have to admit, I’m curious why she was so reclusive then.  If you’re willing to tell me, I’d love to hear about it,” the doctor said.

Jazmyn replied, “Without having her permission to talk freely about it, I’ll just say that she’d previously had highly visible, extreme body modifications done, and if she’d let the press see her, they would have had more questions about those than they did about the quints.  The public reaction would have been very negative, and she and all of us would have become a target for crazies.  It was better to deal with the conspiracy theories than for the truth to come out.”

“Whatever those modifications were, they weren’t from the shoulders up, because I’ve seen the still photo of her that your family released, and they obviously didn’t interfere with pregnancy and childbirth,” Dr. Parker said, more thinking out loud than talking to Jazmyn.  “Were they somehow related to your leg amputations?” he asked, speculating.

“I can’t and won’t tell you any more about my mother without her permission,” Jazmyn replied.  “But my amputations were not elective – you know I lost my legs in that tornado that came through here about seven or eight years ago.  That’s probably going to be part of this story as well, but I have nothing to hide about myself, I assure you.  It was all in the news back then, so it’s a matter of public record, and I’m sure it’s in my medical history as well.”

“I’d guess that your mother still wouldn’t want to be seen by the press, then,” the doctor said.

“I don’t know; I’ll have to ask her, Jazmyn replied.  “That was over 25 years ago, and the world’s changed, and she’s changed.  She wouldn’t be the center of the story anyway, so it might not matter as much anymore.”

“Changing the subject,” Dr. Parker then said, “we’re now beyond the danger zone where your babies might not all survive if you delivered them.  Congratulations on that; apparently you take after your mother in that regard as well.  We still want them to stay in there as long as possible, though, so keep doing what you’ve been doing; it’s working.

“Also, you should consider having a caesarean section done when the time comes; it’s going to be utterly exhausting pushing six babies out, he said.

“Absolutely not, unless a baby’s life or my life is at risk,” Jazmyn replied.  “My mother routinely pushed out five at a time – she’d also been a surrogate mother a few times in addition to her natural pregnancies – and I’ve already done three, so I don’t see why I can’t do six.  Also, if you recall from delivering the triplets, I found natural childbirth to be, uh, extremely pleasurable, and I’m very much looking forward to doing that six more times soon.”

Mama Bryana was with Allie helping her to keep an eye on all of her and Jazmyn’s kids not in school while Alyssa had taken Jazmyn to her doctor’s appointment.  When they returned home, Jazmyn passed on what Dr. Parker had said about the news media.  “He said they’re going to want to interview you, too, Mama, for their story about me and the sextuplets.  He said if you won’t do that, they’re going to ask me why you won’t and that I should have a response ready.  Also, he was very curious about why you wouldn’t see the press when you had the quints.  I just gave him a very vague answer, but he clearly wanted details.  So what do you want to do about this, and what should I tell Dr. Parker about you?” Jazmyn asked her.

“Hmmm…” said Bryana in response.  “It didn’t occur to me that they’d want to interview me regarding your pregnancy.  Now that I think about it, it makes sense why they would.  I’d be willing to do a telephone or audio-only interview.  I could provide a current still photo as well.  I still don’t think I should get in front of a camera and have them start asking about my amputations.”

“What about if you did a video interview where the camera is very close and only shows your face, neck, and shoulders?” Jazmyn asked her mother.

“I don’t know.  Maybe,” Bryana replied.  “I’d want to do a few dry runs to make sure my missing arms can’t be seen if I happen to move slightly.  If those go well, then it’s not out of the question, I suppose.”

“I understand.  That seems completely reasonable to me, Mama,” replied Jazmyn.  “However, you need to be prepared for questions about why you won’t do an in-person interview now, and why you completely avoided the press when the quints were born.  I’m sure you’ll get asked those.”

“I’m sure I will,” agreed Bryana.  “I’ll be ready.”

“What should I tell Dr. Parker about you?” Jazmyn asked.

“What did you tell him already?”

“Just that you’d had body modifications done that you didn’t care to have broadcast or be asked about.”

“I don’t think you need to say any more than that, Jazzie,” said Bryana.  “He’s not my doctor, so he’s not bound by HIPAA laws to keep what you tell him about me confidential.  If you told him everything, he could very well pass it all along to the media.  That would be as bad as being on camera, maybe worse.”

“Okay, Mama; thanks.  I’ll respect your wishes,” replied Jazmyn.

A few weeks later, early in week 38 of Jazmyn’s pregnancy, it was clear the time was nearing, as she began having occasional contractions.  Dr. Parker was absolutely amazed that Jazmyn had been able to keep sextuplets safe in her womb that long.  He estimated they now weighed about 7 pounds each.  He was sure both the gestation period and the babies’ weight had to blow the world records for sextuplets out of the water, and he intended to find out.

Over the next few days, the contractions became more frequent and stronger but were still random.  The doctor decided that Jazmyn needed to go ahead and proactively check into the hospital.  She thought it was actually a nice change to be relaxed about getting to the hospital and checking in.  She was taken to a regular hospital room in the maternity ward since she hadn’t actually started labor yet.

Jazmyn was treated like a celebrity by the maternity ward staff.  They were in complete awe of her.  They all knew she was carrying nearly full-term sextuplets, that she’d previously had had three orgasms while giving birth to triplets, and that she was the daughter of the legendary woman who they just called ‘The Goddess’, referring to Bryana.  They decided that Jazmyn was worthy of her own title, too, and so she became known as ‘The Empress’.

After another day, Jazmyn began having regular contractions, and the nurses contacted Dr. Parker and apprised him of the situation.  There was no need for him to rush in, as the contractions weren’t sufficiently close together yet.  Jazmyn called Victor and did the same, and told him the same thing, but Victor came to the hospital anyway.  The last thing he wanted was for Jazmyn to think that she wasn’t more important to him than anything or anyone else.

When Victor entered the room, Jazmyn’s face lit up, and she said, “Hey, Lover, you ready for six babies today?”

“Sure,” he replied.  “You ready for six orgasms today?”

“I was counting on it,” she replied.  “I might get there on my own, but it’s your job to make sure I do.  Got it?”

“Got it.  How ‘bout if I get started warming you up?” he said as he began massaging her jumbo pregnancy breasts through her hospital gown and French kissing her.

Just then, a nurse entered the room.  “Easy there, stud” she said to Victor, laughing.  “That’s how you got started when you filled her up with all those babies nine months ago!”

“True that,” replied Victor, also laughing, “but if she’s going to experience orgasmic childbirth again, somebody’s got to get her warmed up.  She’s put me in charge of making sure she does.”

After a while, the contractions became sufficiently frequent and strong, Dr. Parker arrived, and Jazmyn was wheeled into the delivery room.  “All right!  Are we ready to have some babies today?” the doctor asked, trying to keep things light.

Jazmyn was more stoic about it.  “I don’t think anyone can ever be ready for six babies at once, and I’ll miss being pregnant for the next year at least.  But I’m more than ready to get my mobility back, and I’m very much looking forward to having six orgasms today.  So let’s do it!”

As the contractions progressed and the birth of the first baby was drawing near, Jazmyn whispered to Victor, “I’m going to need some help getting turned on, my Lover.  Please?”

“Say no more, beloved,” Victor whispered.  “I’ve got this.”  Then he began.  “I’ve already trained you to release as many eggs as I say, and you didn’t know this, but I also trained your body to make your boobs grow huge and your nipples cause you to orgasm at just the slightest touch.  There’s nothing about your body I can’t control, and I’ll continue to refine it to make it extremely pleasurable for both of us.

“Next I’m going to train your pussy to desperately crave my creampies when you’re fertile.  You’ll beg me to f**k you, even though you know what’ll happen.  You’ll be completely unable to keep from getting massively pregnant, over and over.  The bigger and more immobile you are, the more you’ll feel like you’re in 24/7 bondage, and that’ll make you perpetually horny, but you’ll be unable to finish without me.  You’ll be too huge to reach your pussy or your clit, and I’ll make your nipples only respond to my touch.  You’ll beg me to suck you and f**k you so you can get off, and I’ll gladly service you, but you’ll be satisfied only briefly.  You’ll do nothing except f**k constantly, grow my babies, and push them out every nine months.  The childbirth orgasms will be the very best ones of all.  Then you’ll beg for more creampies so you can do it all over again.  You’ll be my cum dumpster and baby factory, and you’ll love every minute of it.  You’ll have a hundred babies before you’re done.”

“Oooh, you’re good!” Jazmyn exclaimed.  “You’ve got me good and horny now!  I want it just like you said!  I’m going to look back and wonder why I thought six at a time was a lot.  I can’t wait until you fill me up with ten or twelve or even twenty!

Jazmyn had been following the doctor’s orders to push as Victor was saying all this to her.  Then he said to her, “Okay, mom, I need a big push now.”  Victor whispered, “Do you need me to give the command?”  Jazmyn knew he was talking about the command to orgasm.  “I don’t think so” she said as she pushed mightily.  “Maybe,” she conceded.  The doctor told her, “Take a big breath and then another big push.”  As she began to push again, Victor gave the command, just in case.

Jazmyn pushed with everything she had as she screamed, not in pain, but in ecstasy from the mind-blowing orgasm.  She felt the first baby make its exit from her birth canal into the cold, bright, real world, and heard it draw its first breath and begin to cry.  It was the most beautiful sound in the world, and Jazmyn joined her baby in crying.

“First one’s a girl,” Dr. Parker announced.  “One down, five more to go.  You doing all right, mom?”

“Couldn’t be better!” Jazmyn replied cheerily.

“I wasn’t sure, with all that screaming you were doing,” the doctor explained.

“Remember last time?” Jazmyn asked him.  “Three babies, three orgasmic births?”  Well that was orgasm number one for this round.  As you said, one down, five more to go,” she said as she laughed.

Jazmyn stayed horny and didn’t even need Victor to give any more commands after that; she had five more labor room orgasms as she delivered a boy, two girls, another boy and another girl.  All of them weighed between seven and eight pounds, for a grand total of 45 pounds of babies, more than twice the previous world record combined birth weight for sextuplets.  Just like Mama Bryana, she delivered high-order multiples with birth weights above average even for single births.

Victor and Jazmyn named the girls Catalina, Jacinta, Miranda, and Yesenia, and the boys Lucas and Samuel.

Chapter 34 – Fifteen minutes of fame

The hospital put out a press release announcing the birth of natural, healthy sextuplets that afternoon and scheduled a press conference for the following afternoon.  At the press conference, the hospital’s public relations officer provided the factual information about the babies, parents, and so on, both verbally and in an information sheet provided to each member of the press in attendance.

He also mentioned that the mother of the sextuplets was also the daughter of the woman who had delivered quintuplets in the same hospital 26 years earlier.  This definitely got the attention of the media reps, especially the older ones who remembered the quints story.  They were now chomping at the bit to hear from Jazmyn.

But before they were given the chance to do that, Dr. Parker, Jazmyn’s Ob/Gyn, then took the podium.  He provided some more details about Jazmyn’s pregnancy and delivery and the conditions of babies and mom.  He rather proudly announced that the babies’ combined weights were more than double the previous world record for sextuplets, as if he had something to do with that.  He also explained that Jazmyn had previously had two normal pregnancies, a single birth followed by twins.

Then the public relations guy introduced Jazmyn and Victor, and they came into the room from a side door and approached the podium.  Everyone could see Jazmyn had no legs, and this piqued the press’ curiosity even more.  The sounds of and flashes from cameras precluded any attempts at speaking for several minutes.

The P.R. officer handed Jazmyn a microphone since she couldn’t stand at the podium.  Jazmyn then spoke.  “As you’ve already heard, my name is Jazmyn Alvarez, this is my husband Victor Alvarez, and we’re the proud new parents of sextuplets, in addition to our three older children.  All of the babies are healthy and strong and we’re thrilled to add them to our family.

“I know if I don’t go ahead and provide some details about our family, you’re going to ask anyway, so please bear with me.  Victor and I will have been married for eight years this coming April, and we have a daughter who turns seven next week and 3-1/2 year old twin boys.  I’m 30 years old and Victor is 35.  Victor is of Puerto Rican heritage, was born and raised on Long Island in New York, and he’s employed as a certified financial planner.  I’m a local girl; I’ve lived here all my life.

“I’m sure you want to know about my missing legs.  I lost them as a result of injuries I sustained in the tornado that came through here nearly 7-1/2 years ago.  If you’ve been paying close attention and can do math in your head, you realize that means I’d been married for two months and was six weeks pregnant with our daughter when that happened.  And yes, I’m the eldest daughter of Bryana Farris, the woman who delivered quintuplets here 26 years ago.  I’m not one of the quints, however; I was four years old when they were born.

“Victor and I will now take any questions you might have.”  The PR officer then called on individual reporters and media reps.

“How do you plan to care for six babies from a wheelchair?” a reporter asked Jazmyn.

“First, I take offense at the last three words of your question, ‘from a wheelchair’.  I had no problems caring for my first three without legs, and no mom on earth can care for six infants by herself whether she has legs or not, so the wheelchair reference is moot,” Jazmyn said, clearly irritated that he implied she wasn’t capable.

“Fortunately, I come from a large family, and they’ve all made it clear that they’re going to pitch in and provide all the help we need.  Also, my parents are quite experienced caring for high-order multiples, and they’ll be sharing with us all their tips and hacks.”

“How big is your family?” another one asked.

“I have eleven brothers and sisters, ranging from 30 to 21 years old.  Many of them are married and have children themselves, so they and their spouses are also experienced parents, and of course I have my parents and grandparents.  Members of our church are eager to help as well.  Victor also comes from a large family, and I know some of his relatives are planning to travel here from New York and help out, too.”

“Mrs. Alvarez, were your sextuplets conceived without any artificial measures taken, such as fertility drugs or in-vitro fertilization?”

“That’s correct,” replied Jazmyn.

“Dr. Parker, can you confirm this?” the same reporter asked.

“I have no knowledge or evidence of the Alvarezes resorting to any artificial means of conception,” the doctor said in response.

“We haven’t heard from the father yet.  Mr. Alvarez, if you don’t mind, what’s your take on all of this?” asked another reporter.

Victor replied, “As my wife said, we both come from large families, and we both wanted a large family of our own.  We realized there was a chance we’d get them in batches based on her mother’s history, but once we had a single baby and then twins, we thought that wasn’t going to be the case.  Still, we’re both blessed that we’ve gotten the big family we wanted, even if it is so many at once.  And we’re especially grateful that like her mother, she delivered them full term, full sized, and entirely healthy.”

Then came the question Jazmyn was anticipating but dreading.  “Mrs. Alvarez, there was some controversy 26 years ago when your mother had her quintuplets.  She refused to be seen on camera with the exception of a still photo she provided, and refused all requests for interviews.  Would you comment on that, please, and do you know whether she’d make herself available for an interview now?”

“My mother was, and still is, a very private person.  Out of respect for that, I’m not going to elaborate or speculate about what happened back then.  Remember, I was only four years old at the time.  However, my mother has authorized me to share that she will be hold a Zoom call at 4 pm this afternoon and will take questions then.  The web address for that call is at the bottom of the info sheet you were given.”

“Mrs. Alvarez, you mentioned your husband’s occupation but not your own.  Were or are you employed outside the home, and do you have any plans to return to work?”

“Up until the twins were born, I worked in a coffee shop, first as a barista, and rising to the level of assistant manager.  Since then, until just a few weeks ago, I ran a non-profit called Truncated Yet Tenacious that my husband and I started along with our friend Hope Rogers, which provides peer support and other services to amputees and parents of children born with missing limbs.  I resigned from that position knowing I’d no longer have the time to devote to it.  I will not be returning to the paid workforce.”

“Is the non-profit still in existence, and if so, who’s running it now?”

“Yes, it was critical to us that it continues its important work.  It’s now in the very capable hands of a woman named Li-Mei Cheng, who is the mother of a child with missing limbs.  Victor remains on its board of directors.”

Another reporter had a question.  “I’m wondering how you’ll make room for nine children in your home.  That has to violate some maximum occupancy ordinance, I would think.  Would one of you elaborate on that please?”

Victor took the question.  “Yeah, we were wondering that, too,” he said, and the audience responded in laughter.  “Fortunately, Jazmyn’s parents still had their huge house where they raised their twelve children, and most of them have moved out by now.  We arranged to trade houses with them.  We’re most grateful to her family for allowing us to do that.  They’ve also given us their big 15-passenger van that they no longer need.”

“It sounds like your family is very much invested in this, Mrs. Alvarez,” remarked a reporter.

“They are,” Jazmyn replied.  “I’m so proud of all of them for stepping up.  They’ve made it clear that they see this as a family-wide challenge that requires all hands on deck, rather than just my problem.  Everyone’s been completely selfless about it.  I couldn’t ask for a better family!”

There were no further questions, so the family ducked out to head to the nursery, as that was where the press corps would be heading next to see the babies.  Jazmyn and Victor were each given a baby to hold in each arm, and Jazmyn’s sisters Paige and Cara each held one; then they went over to the big window so they could be photographed.

Epilogue

With all the help they received from their family and others, caring for six newborns wasn’t as overwhelming as Jazmyn and Victor thought it would be.  Jazmyn seemed to have no trouble producing enough milk for all six, but they realized that her parents’ recommendation to also get them used to baby formula early on was a wise one, and so they alternated each baby between the two.

Despite how much Jazmyn and Victor both loved her being pregnant, they quickly decided they were done adding to their family.  Nine kids was plenty enough for both of them.  Not knowing for certain the real reason Jazmyn released six eggs at once, they were afraid to even try for one more and run the risk of having high-order multiples again.  Victor arranged to get a vasectomy right away.

Jazmyn was open to carrying babies for her siblings as she had done previously for both Ian and Kaden, but neither of them wanted any more kids, either, and none of her other siblings had a need for her services.  She considered becoming a surrogate mother like Bryana had been, but if she did, she’d only want to carry one baby at a time.  Any more than that really interfered with her mobility in the latter months, and with nine kids to corral now, she couldn’t be limited in that way.

Jazmyn had a hard time getting excited about going to all that trouble just to carry a single baby.  Besides, the main reason she liked being pregnant was that it increased her libido, and neither she nor Victor seemed to have much time or energy for sex any more.  When they did, she could always count on him to get her plenty horny and have great orgasms, so getting pregnant to be horny was redundant.  She decided against being a surrogate mother and instead would just focus her energies on taking care of her own family.  She found that to be plenty fulfilling.

A few years later, Jazmyn and Alejandra received word from Josie’s Uncle José that her parents had been murdered in Honduras.  While this was devastating news to Josie, it wasn’t nearly as bad as it would have been if it had happened several years prior.  With the passage of time, her parents had become an increasingly distant memory.  Alejandra and Kaden wasted no time in legally adopting Josie.

Valeria and Josie had been inseparable ever since Josie came to live with the Alvarez family.  They’d always thought of each other as sisters; now they were legally first cousins.  Josie had followed Valeria’s lead in participating in gymnastics, but it never became her passion like it had for Valeria.  Instead, once Josie had moved into the big house with Alejandra and Kaden, which had an in-ground swimming pool, she became practically obsessed with swimming.  She was in the pool every chance she could get, either playing in the shallow end or swimming laps and diving in the deep end.  Alejandra and Kaden had enrolled her in swimming lessons so she could learn proper techniques, and now she was on a competitive swim team otherwise consisting of able-bodied girls.  While she wasn’t the star of the team, neither was she the token cripple.

Meanwhile, Valeria continued to develop her gymnastics skills, and could now get a running start and do a whole series of flips like she’d seen her idol Jen Bricker do.  She was likewise skilled on the balance beam and on the uneven parallel bars, which she especially enjoyed; she said that she felt like she was flying when she was on them.  Valeria’s armless friend Amy had gravitated toward dance, and enjoyed every form of dance she’d experienced.  Her parents were pushing her towards getting serious about ballet, but Amy also liked the other types too much to limit herself to just one.

Despite the demands of raising nine children, Jazmyn and Victor remained deeply in love and strongly committed to each other.  As their kids grew older and more independent, caring for them became less exhausting and the couple resumed being intimate fairly regularly.  From time to time, they’d enlist a relative or friend to spend the weekend at their house and mind the kids so they could get away.  They never asked Alejandra and Kaden to do it since they had five of their own already.  Jazmyn and Victor treasured their weekends alone together; usually they wouldn’t even leave town, but would just spend it at a local hotel with room service.

And they all lived happily ever after.

THE END

Author's note

This may be the end of this particular story, but there are two stories that are prequels to this one and feature many of the same characters. I'd encourage you to go back and read those if you haven't already.

Limbless and Pregnant is the story of Jazmyn's mother Briana who voluntarily had all four limbs removed and had nine pregnancies resulting in 40 babies.

Deeply Submissive is the first story featuring Jazmyn and Victor, before she lost her legs or became pregnant.  As a result, missing limbs and pregnancy were only minor topics in this story, but it does have a strong bondage and domination/submission emphasis.

There's also one more story in the works with Jazmyn and Victor as the main characters, titled But God Pursued Her. That one will be a parallel story to this one, which explores the couple’s increasing interest in spiritual matters. But God Pursued Her is nearing completion and will be posted before long.
