A young woman is desperate to become limbless and only good for sex and making babies, and finds a way to make it happen, with love and support from her husband and family.
In Part 6, the pace picks up a bit. Alyssa, Cody, and Bryana adjust to having newborn quints in addition to their triplets. Bryana has two more surrogate pregnancies. One of the triplets asks more uncomfortable questions, both about pregnancy and Bryana's missing limbs. And then, Alyssa and Cody, questioning their own sanity, decide that eight isn’t enough, and Bryana becomes naturally pregnant once again.
Part 6 consists of the following chapters:
And babies make eleven
The next trick was going be getting Bryana from the hospital to home without letting the press see her. When the time came for the babies and her to be discharged, Cody, Alyssa, and the grandparents showed up at the hospital in the 15-passenger van. Vance, the grandfather, stayed with the van and the other three went inside. Several reporters and cameramen then appeared seemingly out of nowhere, ready to record them coming back out. A short time later, they did come back out with the five babies and put them in five baby seats in the van, but Bryana was not with them. The reporters shouted out questions about where Bryana was, which they ignored. Meanwhile, Nicole stayed home with the triplets. Wendy, however, had driven Bryana’s wheelchair van to a back entrance of the hospital. The hospital staff then smuggled Bryana out of her room under an equipment cart that was too small for a normal adult to hide in, and took her to the back entrance. They got Bryana into her wheelchair and into her van without anyone noticing, and Wendy drove her home.
Wendy and Bryana arrived home ahead of the rest of them. By then there were reporters and cameramen camped out in front of the house, but Wendy drove past them, remotely opened the garage door, pulled into the garage, and closed the door behind them. The tinted windows in Bryana’s van had prevented them from being able to see inside. A short time later, the big van with everyone else arrived home. That van was too big to fit in the garage, but it didn’t matter. They brought the quints inside, ignoring shouted questions about where Bryana was, had she come home in the wheelchair van, and was she disabled. Reporters then came up to the house and started ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door. Cody went to the door and politely but firmly told them that he and his family were not answering any questions and requested privacy, that he considered them to now be trespassing, and if they didn’t leave he would call the police. There obviously wasn’t going to be anything more to see, so the press corps dispersed.
The reputable news outlets aired follow-up stories that just showed them at the hospital putting the babies into the big van. One of the less reputable outlets also showed a video of Wendy arriving home in the wheelchair van and reporters shouting questions about Bryana to the rest of them as they arrived home with the babies. The reporter then made a big deal about Bryana obviously having something to hide and her family obviously covering for her, and then suggested several conspiracy theories with varying degrees of wackiness, none of which was remotely accurate. Everyone hoped that it wouldn’t be long before the press and the public would lose interest and leave them alone.
However, there was a good side to the publicity. There was an outpouring of donations of diapers, formula, and other baby products from various businesses, non-profits, and individuals. Most of this was sent to the hospital or one of the television stations to be forwarded to them. While the assistance was welcome, much of it they couldn’t use. The babies being as big as they were, they couldn’t wear preemie diapers and would fast outgrow newborn diapers, well before they could use up the supply. Not many people thought to donate larger sizes. Same issue with donated clothing, most of it was already too small or would be very soon. Some of the other items just weren’t needed for various reasons. So, they made use of what they could and donated the rest to non-profits and social agencies that assisted needy families and new mothers.
They also received many offers of help in caring for the babies, also mostly sent via the hospital or TV stations. Most of these offers were from complete strangers, which they politely declined. However, some were from friends and acquaintances with whom they’d lost touch. Bryana and Cody had lost touch with a lot of people after she had her amputations and they began keeping a low profile. Therefore, none of these friends had any idea about Bryana’s current state. Other offers were from people Alyssa knew from the day care center, both former co-workers and parents of kids who had attended. The three of them read these messages and reminisced about the people who sent them. They didn’t want to automatically decline all offers to help, because they certainly could use it, especially on weekends when most people were available. They discussed who among the volunteers would likely be good with babies and who they might be able to trust with their secret.
Two of the potential volunteers were Bryana and Alyssa’s former therapist Lexie, and a nurse from Dr. Hopkins’ practice named Yolanda, both of whom they immediately accepted. They also accepted the offer from Zoey, who used to work at the coffee shop with both Bryana and Cody, and who they knew was also a bondage aficionado and mother. They told a few other people that they’d keep them in mind if they could use their help at a later time.
With all of the donations and all of the additional help they had, and as organized as they were, the process of caring for the newborn quints went about as smoothly as it could have. Alyssa managed to not feel overwhelmed and Bryana was able to avoid another bout of post-partum depression. It helped that she felt much more needed and useful by assuming a large part of the job of keeping an eye on the triplets, who were four years old, and Nicole’s daughter Olivia, who was now past her first birthday. It turned out that Bryana had more of a maternal instinct than she thought. The household mostly ran like a well-oiled machine.
Prior to Alyssa’s adoption of the quints becoming final, she decided it was time to commit to really being a family with Cody and Bryana in addition to the kids. While she and Cody couldn’t legally marry, she could do the next best thing, and had her last name legally changed to Cody’s so that it matched everyone else’s.
Cody began making arrangements to have an addition put on their house. While they had room for five infants, as the quints grew older they were going to need more bedrooms and bathrooms than the house presently had. They had originally designed the house to readily accommodate such an addition, so the process was pretty straightforward.
Occasionally they’d have to deal with some random creep who would stake out their house or follow the wheelchair van when it left the garage. But Alyssa and Bryana’s father knew the chief of police, and it only took a phone call to have a cop come out and give the creep a talking to and send him packing. Invariably, they had seen the video that had suggested various conspiracy theories regarding Bryana and felt the need to do their own investigation.
Surrogacy rounds 2 and 3
It was mutually understood that Alyssa and Cody were done having any more children at least for the foreseeable future, if not permanently. Bryana did not even need to ask. So she made contact with the surrogacy agency and began the process of again becoming a surrogate candidate. Since this was the second time around, and she had a glowing recommendation from the Morrisons from her first surrogacy, the process was greatly streamlined, and she was readily approved as a candidate. All she had to do was to be matched to a set of intended parents and wait the required minimum 12 months from the time of her most recent delivery. Bryana and Cody both liked her being massively pregnant, and so Bryana made it clear in her surrogate candidate profile that she would give preference to intended parents who wanted to implant a larger than normal number of embryos in her womb, as the Morrisons had done. Having delivered healthy and full-term triplets, quads, and quints, she was clearly an ideal candidate for anyone wanting to do that. She was also open to having embryos implanted for multiple sets of intended parents in a single pregnancy. Normally this was not allowed, but the surrogacy agency made an exception in her case since she carried high order multiples so well.
Bryana’s candidate profile generated quite a bit of interest among the intended parents, but there wasn’t anyone presently looking to implant more than two embryos. Several of them were willing to share Bryana’s womb with another set of parents. The surrogacy agency decided to do this on a trial basis, but for at least the first time, they wanted the sets of parents to be of different races. This would make it visually evident which baby or babies belonged to which set of parents. This could also be determined with simple DNA tests of the babies, but having the babies be of different races improved everyone’s comfort level. So, Bryana ended up with four embryos implanted, two from a white couple and two from an Asian couple. All four attached themselves successfully to Bryana’s womb, and she was again pregnant with quads, or more accurately, two sets of twins. It was a little bit disappointing that her belly wasn’t as big as it was the last time when she carried her quints, but nevertheless, she sure did like being pregnant with so many at once. Cody thought likewise, and their sex life proved it.
When her belly became obviously large, she was peppered with questions by her oldest daughter/niece Jazmyn, now well past her fifth birthday. Aunt Bryana, are there babies growing in your tummy again?, she asked. Yes, there are, Bryana replied. Are we going to have more brothers and sisters? No, not this time, honey. Bryana felt the next to explain further. This time I’m growing babies for two other ladies who can’t grow their own. So when these babies are born, they’ll go and live with those other families. This got Jazmyn thinking. Did you grow us because Mommy can’t grow babies?, she asked. Yes, that’s exactly right, Bryana replied. How come some ladies can grow babies and some can’t?, Jazmyn asked. There was no good way to explain that in a way a five-year-old could understand. It’s pretty complicated, Bryana said. Most ladies can grow babies, but some just can’t. And I like growing babies, so I do it to help ladies who can’t. Jazmyn responded, I hope I can grow babies when I’m a lady. I want to grow lots of them just like you. Bryana smiled. I hope you can, too, honey, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Since Bryana’s labor had been getting progressively shorter with each pregnancy, Dr. Hopkins gave her strict orders to drop everything and immediately head to the hospital as soon as she had two contractions within ten minutes or if her water broke. She was not to stop and call anyone first, phone calls were of secondary importance to just getting to the hospital. Since Bryana couldn’t drive herself to the hospital, someone was assigned 24/7 to be with her and be ready to take her there on a moment’s notice. When Cody was home, he was always the designated driver, but when he wasn’t, it might be any of the other adults living in or working at their household, or one of her parents. The families whose babies she was carrying knew that they might be given almost no notice to get to the hospital immediately if they wanted to see their children being born. She also had given them fair warning that she was prone to having intense orgasms while delivering babies.
Four days before her due date, Bryana began having random, infrequent contractions, and she let everyone know that the time was probably near. These continued until the day before her due date, when she started having them 20 minutes apart, then 15, then 12. It was about 10:30 pm when she finally had one ten minutes after the previous, and she and Cody headed for the hospital. She hoped she could make it until midnight and keep her perfect record of never delivering before her due date. Bryana used voice commands on her phone to call the doctor and the two families while Cody drove.
By the time they arrived at the hospital and got to the maternity ward, Bryana’s contractions were five minutes apart. The nurses on duty immediately recognized her, and said in unison and only half in jest, All hail the goddess! All hail the goddess! As one of the nurses led them to the labor room, she called out, Make way for the goddess! It was unprofessional and very much out of character for them, but they were truly amazed by her past deliveries. Bryana appreciated the sentiment, but was also a bit embarrassed to have them calling so much attention to her. Bryana was only in the labor room a short time before they moved her to the delivery room. Dr. Hopkins and the Asian couple arrived right after that; by then it was 11:30 pm. Dr. Hopkins examined her and said, We’re going to have some babies tonight. It won’t be long now. Bryana told her she wanted to wait until after midnight to deliver so she wouldn’t ruin her perfect record. Dr. Hopkins looked skeptical. Babies gonna do what babies do, she said, meaning that they come out on their own schedule. She didn’t think Bryana would make it that long. But Bryana was determined. The white couple arrived about 11:45 pm. By 11:50 pm, the doctor told Bryana, I need you to start pushing, but Bryana refused. No, she said, not yet. Five minutes later, it didn’t matter. The first baby was coming. And Bryana knew this was going to be another orgasmic birth. It felt so good! Every bone in her body wanted her to push but she tried to do just the opposite and hold it in. At two minutes before midnight, she couldn’t stop it any longer. She began screaming in ecstasy as the baby made its way out. But the nurse watching the clock called out, 12:01 am!, just as the baby girl took its first breath. Bryana had kept her perfect record!
Again there was a group of nurses assembled in the room to witness. Anyone who had not seen Bryana deliver the past two times had been freed up by another nurse who had. The remaining three babies followed their womb-mate in quick succession, Bryana had three more orgasms, and it was all over by 12:30 am. Another two hour labor, counting from when the contractions were ten minutes apart, but it would have been shorter than that had Bryana not held the baby back. In birth order, she had delivered a white girl weighing 7 lb. 14 oz., an Asian girl weighing 7 lb. 11 oz., an Asian boy weighing 8 lb. 3 oz., and a white boy weighing 8 lb. 4 oz., for a total of 32 pounds of babies.
Twelve months later, the quints were 2-1/2 years old and Alyssa and Cody still had no desire to grow their family, so Bryana was ready for yet another surrogacy. Now she was being asked for by name by intended parents well in advance of her availability, and Bryana could take her pick of whose babies she would carry. Another couple was wanting to have four embryos implanted, so she rewarded their daring by choosing them, and once again Bryana was pregnant.
This pregnancy felt more like quints than quads to Bryana, and the ultrasound proved her correct. She and Cody were thrilled she’d have another massive quint belly once again. The biological parents were of course a bit overwhelmed, expecting no more than four babies and now being told there would be five. Apparently, two of them were going to be identical, just like Bryana’s natural quints. This time, Bryana was ordered to leave immediately for the hospital when contractions were twelve minutes apart. These babies decided to enter the world three days before their due date, spoiling Bryana’s record. Five orgasms later, she had delivered three girls and two boys, with the boys being the two who were identical, for a combined birth weight of 39 pounds.
Alyssa and Cody reconsider
As Bryana approached the end of her twelve month waiting period between pregnancies, the triplets were eight years old and the quints were four. They’d be nine and five, respectively, at the end of her next pregnancy. Eight kids four years and older were actually pretty manageable, and it would only be easier still a year later. Alyssa and Cody were both starting to get the itch to expand their family again. They said to each other, We must be crazy! But the feeling wouldn’t go away. They told Bryana they’d like for her to do her thing for them once again. Bryana was more than happy to do so; the pregnancies where she had carried her own biological children were more special to her, and she loved being impregnated naturally.
The only question was whether they’d let the number of babies to be determined naturally, or whether they’d try to limit it. They could do the latter by going through the same process the intended parents had done for the surrogate pregnancies: in-vitro fertilization and embryo implantation. But it was rather expensive to do that. Alyssa and Cody couldn’t make up their minds. Their heads told them to limit the number of babies to one or two this time, but their hearts told them to let nature take its course; they had managed with quints once before, and they could do it again if necessary. After quints, only having twins just seemed too easy; they could manage that in their sleep. They shared with Bryana the good news that Cody would knock her up the old fashioned way. She was thrilled at the news; she’d never carried fewer than three at a time in her five pregnancies, and it just seemed like a waste of womb capacity to do any less, especially intentionally.
At the twelve month mark, Cody again made a show of flushing Bryana’s birth control down the toilet, but it took another month for the chemicals to be out of her system and for her to become fertile. Once that happened, her body wasted no time releasing eggs to be turned into babies by Cody’s contribution to the effort. Cody, of course, made sure the opportunity wasn’t wasted, and he again made sure Bryana was hanging upside-down each time, both while doing the deed and afterwards. It wasn’t particularly comfortable for her, but it was a turn-on to think that gravity was helping those tadpoles reach their targets even if it really made no difference, and besides, Cody was the one who called the shots in the bedroom by mutual agreement, and she wasn’t about to try to change that again.
The pregnancy was confirmed and Bryana’s bump grew yet again. Their eight kids were used to Bryana being pregnant much of the time and didn’t think anything of it when she started showing. But once the adults informed them that the family was keeping this batch of babies and that they’d soon have little siblings, they became much more interested, especially Jazmyn, who was now 8 years old, going on 9. She was old enough to really understand this time around, as were her two womb-mate brothers. The first things the kids wanted to know were how many babies total and how many of each gender, but it was too soon to know that yet. But from past experience, Bryana sensed that she was most likely carrying quads and shared this with the other adults.
They were going to need to put another addition on the house to accommodate the growing family, but again, this would be relatively straightforward as they had designed the house to be repeatedly added onto if necessary. They could easily have this finished and ready well before the arrival of the next litter of young ‘uns arrived.
Alyssa and Cody once again accompanied Bryana to her ultrasound appointment, where Dr. Hopkins confirmed Bryana’s suspicion that she was carrying four babies. For once, Alyssa didn’t react negatively, but she was already expecting as much and was prepared for it, even looking forward to it again. They could handle having quads, and they all knew it. It was going to be two boys and two girls, keeping the gender balance even.
Jazmyn was fascinated with every aspect of Bryana’s pregnancy. She wanted a full update after every doctor’s appointment, and she constantly asked questions about pregnancy and delivery in general and this pregnancy in particular. She had a basic, age-appropriate understanding of conception and female physiology, and so she grasped the concept that Bryana was a very rare super-ovulator, which explained her three natural pregnancies carrying from three to five babies. She also understood how surrogate pregnancy worked, and the reasons why it was done.
What Jazmyn didn’t quite grasp was why most other women had one or two or three pregnancies in their lifetimes, but Bryana wanted to be pregnant as frequently as possible and was now on her sixth pregnancy and spoke of having more in the future. What motivated her to have surrogate pregnancies in addition to her three natural pregnancies? Jazmyn couldn’t quite put this curiosity into the form of an articulate question, though. She tried, though. Mama Bryana, do you like being pregnant? (Jazmyn, keenly aware that Bryana was her birth mother, had taken to calling Bryana by that title rather than Aunt.) Bryana replied, Yes, very much so. Do you like it better than being not pregnant?, the girl asked. Bryana affirmed this. Yes, I do. Is that why you do surrogate pregnancies so much? Again, Bryana responded positively.
How come other women don’t like being pregnant that much?, Jazmyn asked. Now we’re getting to the real question, thought Bryana, though she realized Jazmyn was really trying to ask why she, Bryana, enjoyed pregnancy so much more than other women. It was going to be a little bit tricky to give an honest but age-appropriate answer. Bryana replied, I can’t really speak for other women, but I do know that there are usually some things about being pregnant that are no fun. For example, pregnancy gives many women an upset stomach and they have to throw up a lot. Some women think being pregnant makes them look fat and they don’t like that. Many women just don’t like the way it feels. They have a hard time getting comfortable when they’re pregnant, and it may make them more emotional. So they put up with all of that so they can have children, but they don’t enjoy it very much.
But those things don’t bother you, right?, Jazmyn asked. No, they don’t, Bryana replied, but it’s more than that. I really like the way being pregnant makes me look, and so does Daddy. And I really, really like the way it makes me feel. How does it make you feel?, the little girl asked innocently. Uh-oh, thought Bryana. I need to tread carefully here. I can’t really explain it, Bryana replied, not entirely untruthfully. It just feels really, really good, and that feeling makes me very happy. I miss feeling that way when I’m not pregnant. I guess my body just always wants to be pregnant.
Is that because your body doesn’t have arms or legs?, Jazmyn asked, trying make sense of all of this. Bryana replied, No. My body would always want to be pregnant even if I did have arms and legs. Jazmyn pondered that. Mama Bryana, did you used to have arms and legs?, she asked. Uh-oh, again, thought Bryana. Now we’re really in uncharted waters. But Bryana was determined not to lie; it was certain to go badly when the truth eventually came out. Yes, honey, she said without elaboration. And did your body want to be pregnant then?, Jazmyn asked. Yes, it sure did, Bryana replied. That cleared things up about one subject for Jazmyn, but she had already opened a fresh new can of worms.
Mama Bryana, what happened to your arms and legs?, Jazmyn asked. Bryana’s heart started pounding upon hearing this question. How could she possibly explain it to a nine year old? Their old stock answer wasn’t going to do the trick any more, but she couldn’t think of any appropriate, truthful answer. So she gave an appropriate, truthful, non-answer instead. I don’t know how to explain it in a way a nine year old could understand, Bryana said in response. I promise I’ll explain it to you when you’re old enough. Jazmyn furrowed her brow. She thought she was smart enough to understand most things grown-ups talk about, and her question was a pretty simple one that seemed like it should have a simple answer, so she couldn’t figure out why Mama Bryana wouldn’t tell her. How old do I have to be?, she asked. I don’t know, really, Bryana replied. Maybe 14 or 16. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Jazmyn wasn’t going to drop the subject that easily, though, and she was still confused. Mama Bryana, will I have to lose my arms and legs if my body wants to be pregnant like yours? Oh, honey, no!, replied Bryana. It’s not like that at all. The two have nothing to do with each other. If you have a body that wants to be pregnant, you can absolutely keep your arms and legs! Does it hurt not having arms and legs?, Jazmyn asked. No, honey, it doesn’t hurt, Bryana reassured her. Does it make you sad you can’t do stuff? Sometimes it does, but most of the time, no. Because what I want to do most is to be pregnant, and I can still do that. And I want to love the people in our family and have them love me, and I can still do that, too. Jazmyn had no more questions, at least for now.
In her six pregnancies to date, this was the third time Bryana had carried four babies, and two of the other times were quints, so what would have been an extraordinary pregnancy for any other woman was completely routine for her. When Bryana went into labor five days after her due date, everyone knew the drill. She was to make a beeline for the hospital when her contractions were 15 minutes apart this time, and that happened in the wee hours of the morning. Starting counting from then, it took just two hours for her to bring four more children into the world and into their family. In birth order were Adam at 9 lbs. 8 oz., Brock at 9 lbs. 10 oz., Cara at 9 lbs. 7 oz., and Darcy, also at 9 lbs. 7 oz., for a total of 38 pounds of babies.
As expected, Alyssa and Cody, with plenty of help of course, had no trouble accommodating four more newborns. They were quite experienced by now, and very little could faze them. Jazmyn was far more aware of what was happening this time as Bryana nursed the babies, and asked endless questions about breasts and breast milk and the breastfeeding experience. She often wanted to hold the babies as Bryana fed them, which was welcome assistance.
