You've probably already figured from my earlier deviations (the photomanips in particular) that my imagination doesn't work like most people's. A lot of the stuff I like to read has some element of "that can't really happen, can it?" or just plain "I KNOW that can't really happen!" This is one of those stories.<br /><br />A friend has a site specializing in stories that feature an invisible or unseen tickler. Many are light, some are not. I was already writing stories that featured Paulette, my invisible muse, so it wasn't hard to shift to "animate" objects or characters who were intangible, not <i>just</i> invisible. With this story I decided, "What if the entity started out playing with water, and moved on to another tactic when it learned something about its vic-- um, subject?"
