This is not a proper chapter, obviously, but just a little vignette based on what we know of each character at this point in the story. Lucy refers to the narrator's former outfit, now filling itself -- herself -- with female curves. She is, or will be called, Lucy because when chapter 9 starts both Sheila and the narrator will believe she "has some 'splainin' to do." š
I walk into the room, and there is an unfamiliar shimmery black jacket hovering there. Inside the unzipped jacket is a cute pink and white striped cropped tank top. The top reminds me of the top Sheila wore under her pink jacket the day we first met. The jacket also looks like something Sheila would wear, except Sheila almost always wears entire outfits. Pinkie is the one who favors hovering tops, or walking pants or footwear, by themselves. And Lucy? She might animate an extra item or two, but her base outfit -- formerly my outfit -- is always around.
As I approach the items they turn toward me. "Cute outfit," I say, reaching toward the top's neckline, intending to pull it away from the form underneath -- a little habit I picked up that Pinkie likes, as if I'm trying to get a better look at her chest. Sheila and Lucy seem to like it too. But just before I can make contact, unseen hands grab my wrists and hold them out to my sides, away from my body, at about shoulder height. I'm expecting more hands to dive into my armpits, but insteadā¦
Unseen lips kiss me. āMmph?ā I grunt as I kiss them back. The jacket and top are still far enough away that I donāt immediately mentally connect them with the kissing lips. But the clothes come closer and wrap their sleeves around me, below my outstretched arms, which are still being held out by invisible hands.
When the lips let up, I ask, "Who is this?"
The lips resume kissing, as a voice whispers in my ear, "Why worry about who it is?"
OK, so I know that voice, at least, was not Pinkie...
It would be more like Lucy to be mysterious like this. But again, whenever sheās using clothing or items other than her base outfit, some part of the outfit is always around somewhere.
I spot Lucy's gray long-sleeved polo shirt -- my old shirt -- on the floor across the room. Aha!
But my discovery is noticed. The top lifts off the floor, immediately puffing up to Lucy's curvy shape as its invisible hands squeeze its chest. There's a quiet giggle whose location I can't pinpoint as the shirt hovers closer to the nearest door, playing with itself the whole way. Pinkie has been known to giggle, groan, grunt, or even sigh on occasion -- maybe all three of them are involved here? That would be a first.
The door across the room swings open and immediately the shirt loses shape as unseen hands ball it up and toss it through the doorway, followed by a quick laugh from right in front of me, above and behind the jacket. The lips kept on kissing me through all this. Ā Sheila and Lucy sound so similar that without actual words it's hard to tell which it isā¦
But the door never closes. Maybe five seconds later the shirt returns, paired with leggings plainly meant for the curvy female shape that filled them. Their plain diamond-plaid pattern also matches the top, which was not athletic at all but just a casual long-sleeved collared shirt. I keep watching this other outfit as it makes its way toward me, with plenty of sway in its hips.
I can no longer see the outfit as it slips behind me, but I soon see its sleeves as they wrap around me from behind, just below the black jacketās sleeves. Lips begin to kiss the back of my neck, as a tongue and a set of lips and teeth begins playing with my ears. A happy sigh comes from across the room, near where Lucyās shirt had been before filling itself outā¦
