This story is a bit dark. The ending for Stockton could never have been a happily-ever-after affair. Heddy's work on helping Emily deal with her trauma isn't going as well as anyone would have liked. It's only been 10 weeks or so since her rescuing herself. More time is surly all it will take.

On the bright side, this Ted's doll story probably has the most diverse set of transformations of any of them: Various folks become little toy dolls. Emily is a plant, a dragon, and a man over the course of the story.
