Right place, right time?

Reading Notes:

On the top right of the reading area there's a toolbar with options for readability. If you click on the button that's labelled (c) it will align the text inside your window for you to a more narrow column, which is how I intend for this story to be read.

For future reference, I will edit to the following readability options:

Text Size: Small
Font: Sans Serif
Paragraph Spacing: Off
Visibility: Black on White
(c): On

This vignette is inspired by Kinktober- Oct 1 Poisonous, by DreampaintLoon. Something about that image really stuck with me and... I'm not sure if this story really scratches that itch. It's really hard to put to words how it feels to be completely encased in rubber. It's not really a physical tactile thing, it's almost psychological. Just knowing that you are perfectly sealed in your own exclusive atmosphere is vastly different from merely being wrapped in rubber. I might have to revisit that idea in something else next time, when I can better express how it makes me feel.

On the writing front... this one is a bit different to what I usually do. I rarely skip over the part where the protagonist gets suited up like that. I've been stuck in a bit of a rut and just wanted to write something so it doesn't all rust away. I think I was also getting a bit bored of describing the process of putting on rubber yet again. I feel like I repeat myself sometimes and it usually gets me a bit stuck when I get to that part. I feel this story gave me an opportunity to explore the predicament of rubber rather than the sensation of rubber... if that makes any sense. It's more of the idea of bondage (and maybe a bit of hypnosis?) than just sex.

I think I also really wanted to write a dream/drug sequence. But it's hard to write an effective trip if there's no depth to the character to play off of. Idk. It's just a little sketch, I guess. Read into it what you will.
