Drone

by lonelyzentai

Drones. That’s what they were calling them. She could see the signs of them far before they had arrived at her street. Jacky’s body tensed, caught in a surge of panic and confusion. People poured out from the main boulevard, pushing and falling over each other like a flood of liquid.

The café she was in was caught in the same indecision as herself. Other patrons rose, eyes transfixed on the distant panic that was quickly approaching. None dared to believe what was once only a frightening story on the evening news was happening to themselves. The din of revelry and casual conversation came to a hush, replaced only by the approaching rumble of panic and fear.

And then she heard it. Faintly at first, but it was growing louder the more she considered it. It was a low rumble. Like an old engine running at a low RPM. Unwavering, it punched through the screaming and panicked ruckus in a way that could only be described as an incessant drone. As the riot of fear turned the corner and into view, Jacky could finally see the cloud of dense fog that she knew followed behind them.

This is real.

A nearby couple turned and bolted. And as if releasing a corked bottle, the rest of the patrons sprang to life, clambering over tables, chairs, and each other to flee the approaching chaos. Jacky turned to do the same, only for a heavy boot to strike the back of her knee. She buckled and fell to the ground, scraping her knee against the cobblestone floor.

Fuck.

She rolled out of the way as another patron threatened to crush her lungs. Above her, a mug of hot coffee teetered on the edge of its table. Before the sight could mean anything to her, the table shifted. She watched as the porcelain toppled; her arm instinctively raised to protect herself from the projectile.

The scalding liquid soaked into her shirt and pain shot across her arm as her skin screamed in agony. She clambered out of her blouse, struggling to pull herself away from the beverage that had betrayed her. Off her haunches in jeans and a tank-top, she pulled herself to her feet. The continuous hum rattled her bones and pierced her very core, threatening to shake her guts out of her ribcage. A thick milky scent of earthy incense began to caress her nostrils.

She was in the thick of it now.

Panicked masses ran blindly past her, overturning tables and destroying any semblance of peace as they went. But Jacky wasn’t paying any heed to them. Her eyes were transfixed on something else. Framed by the riotous crowds and silhouetted against the canvas of milky white fog was the thing

…the Drone.

It… she… Jacky’s mouth hung agape. It was the image of a woman, sheathed in a glossy black suit that gleamed in the sunlight. Where her head should be was instead a tight ovoid helmet of tinted black. A single pipe started from her face, snaking around her neck to a triangular pack that seemed to be an integrated part of her suit.

She carried in her hands what looked to be a large, telescopic pipe, attached to a motor. Like a large flame thrower, it rattled and vibrated as it spewed out more of the white fumes that bathed the city. The drone waved it side to side as she walked- or… sashayed.

Jacky stood transfixed. Her breathing came in shorter gasps as the drone grew larger in her cone of vision. An earthy scent of rubber and incense filled her lungs and the pain from her arm and knee began to melt away. The drone’s body was… intriguing- no... alluring.

There were no seams. The enclosure was absolute. Even her helmet seemed to be attached to the suit itself, as if it were cut… no, molded of the same stretch of latex. The crushing tightness of her outfit bared everything, and yet revealed nothing.

The milky fog continued to melt away the world around her. The drone stopped, considering the girl before her. They were standing face to face now.

How does it feel, Jacky reached a hand outward. Her eyelids grew heavy, and an erotic desire began to warm her loins. She inhaled another lungful of rubber.

Her hand caressed the drone’s neck, as the drone ran her own down Jacky’s waist. Silky… A thin layer of oil remained on her fingers. She rubbed them together. It was smooth. Slippery.

How does it feel… to be inside…

Jacky reached out, but the drone faded away into the white void that surrounded her. There was no up, nor down. She was falling, it seemed. But the ground was never so far away. There was no wind. There was no air, only the rubbery incense that enveloped her.

She wasn’t falling. She couldn’t have been. She was… that’s right. She must be floating. In… what exactly? There’s that hum again. Did it ever go away? She couldn’t remember. It was definitely getting louder. It was... ohhh.

Jacky’s back arched. Her body rumbled as the deep hum reverberated around her. The heavy vibrations were almost tactile, as if they were pressing in from all around her. Her cheeks grew flush and a small moan escaped her lips. She held her legs tightly together but it was no use. Wherever she moved the vibrations followed - no hands nor clenching of thighs could stand between her and the sensation. Blood continued to rush to her nether regions as her body tingled and tensed, edging towards but never quite reaching a peak.

She moaned but the drone was louder still.

She felt naked. Was she always naked? Where did her clothes… She reached to cover herself…

Oil.

She wasn’t naked. The drone rumbled incessantly, it was inescapable. She floated naked in the void of oil, held tightly in place by her skin of black rubber. Her skin that vibrated, massaging her to the tone of her fogger.

She took a deep breath of rubber and incense. There’d be time to worry about how later. Now, is the time to spread the good word.
