Partly due to some of the websites he frequented, Adrian started getting photos sent to him anonymously about a new cartoon series, The troubles of Adrienne. The problem was they were all scenarios he had thought of, and the woman looked suspiciously like him...?
What the hell was going on…?
Things got even more confusing, as the door rang.
“Delivery!”, came a voice.
Adrian hadn’t ordered anything. Confused, he opened the door.
“Parcel for ‘A Wilkinson’”, the woman said. “Sign here, please.”
Still confused, he signed, and took the parcel in. That was his second mistake. His first was not deleting the emails with the cartoon series in…
Going back to the sofa, he opened the parcel. His mouth dropped open in disbelief. There was a full set of clothing in the parcel. The exact set of clothing that ‘Adrienne Wilkinson’ had been wearing.
There was also a letter.
‘Dear Ms. Wilkinson,
Thank you for accepting the job as a trainee supervisor at our facility. We are aware of your ‘special circumstances’, but this will not be a problem for us; appropriate extra equipment has been provided in the shipment.
You need to report for the induction by 0800 on 3rd November; should you not attend then, you may have to start work without training, which would be inconvenient for you. We will receive notification that you have received this parcel, which you will have signed for; this will indicate your acceptance of the position.
We look forward to working with you.
Regards,
Spencer Research.’
Adrian was now thoroughly confused.
The parcel must be for someone else! Why the hell would someone send him a set of female clothing?
Absent-mindedly, he rummaged through the box. It was then he saw the padded bra, as well as the flesh-coloured knickers with a built-in vagina, to go under a normal pair of knickers…
They knew he was a man! At least, he was at the moment…!
“B. this for a lark”, he said. “They can sit and swivel if they think I’m turning up tomorrow…”
Despite everything, out of interest, he looked up ‘Spencer Research’ on the internet. Interestingly, it looked just like somewhere he’d really like to work for; they were the market leaders in one of the fields he was experienced in, as well as renown for looking after their staff. Unusually, however, they had a very high percentage of female staff…
Something started nagging at the back of his mind, then. What would happen if he went? Not as ‘Adrienne’, but himself? Would he still get the job? Did he even want the job? After all, he was quite happy being self-employed at the moment.
Also, the thought of being Adrienne was sort of starting to intrigue him. He’d gone to a fancy dress party, once, as a woman, and quite enjoyed it. He’d only done it as a laugh really but ended up really having fun.
Before he knew it, he’d taken the box of clothing into his bedroom and emptied it onto the bed…
It took him a few minutes to strip and put on the bra and the special knickers. He was amazed at how lifelike everything looked. He was a woman from the neck downward. Before he could change his mind, he dressed in the rest of the clothing; the proper knickers to go over the special ones, an ivory blouse, tights and a black pencil skirt. His body now would look right in any office.
There was a nametag; ‘A. Wilkinson’. He clipped this to the pocket on the blouse, as there was no coat in the box. Then, he saw the last bag in the box. There was a pageboy cut brunette wig in it. He put the wig on and straightened it, completely overlooking the electronics built into it.
The pain hit him instantly; a sharp, needle-like pain, stabbing into his temples. He sagged to his knees, gasping, and passed out on the floor…
Sometime later, she awoke.
Adrian was now Adrienne…
The change was thorough, and complete. Voice patterns had changed; the face had softened and was now completely in line with the photo that Spencer Research had on file for Adrienne.
Adrienne got up, shakily, looked out of the window. Daylight was just appearing over the rooftops. She had been unconscious all night…
“Damn! I’d better get a move on. I don’t want to be late for orientation”, she said.
Adrienne headed out of the door, somehow managing to arrive at Spencer Research in time for her first day…
