Daniel Barry was smiling, happy at landing a plum new job in a Manor just out of town. Head of House for Lady Clara Fitzwilliam. A good position, with good pay.
That’s why he was dismayed with her reaction when she first saw him…
“No, this won’t do at all”, she said, waving a hand disdainfully at him, talking to her lady in waiting. “Look at her. She’s dressed like a man! And so flat chested, too…”
Her lady in waiting, Sarah, giggled.
“Don’t worry, madam”, she said. “Her references and qualifications, after all, are impeccable. I’m sure we can sort something out…”
She walked up to Daniel and gently whispered in his ear, “Trust me. Go with the flow…!”
Before Daniel could point out that he was, indeed, a man, Sarah and another woman, Rachael, were ‘steering’ him through a door…
“If you want the job, which I assume you do, you’re going to have to play the part”, said Sarah, as the three talked in the servants quarters. “I’ve got the head of house uniform here…”
She showed Daniel a beautiful, full length black and white dress; it was, strangely, like a parlour maids uniform but more involved, with extra frills of lace, made in a very high-class satin. There was an inbuilt corset, and a flare at the hips. There was also a bonnet.
“You’ll have to wear the bonnet to start with, until your hair grows out”, Sarah said. “Lady Fitzwilliam really can’t abide short hair.”
“I’m not wearing that!”, squeaked Daniel, not very convincingly. He couldn’t help it. The outfits were really turning him on. He’d always loved gowns and long dresses; his late mother used to wear them all the time…
Sarah just looked at him. She knew damn well what was going on in Daniel’s mind.
“You don’t really mean that, do you…”, she said, accusingly. Daniel blushed…
Sarah and Rachael then took him down an adjacent corridor, into a small but comfortable bedroom, with an en-suite.
“This is your new quarters”, she said. “The job is an on-site one, after all. It’s even bigger than mine. Strip off, shave everything and I’ll get you ready for your first day.”
Turning to Rachael, she said “Head back to her Ladyship and see to her needs. Tell her I’m sorting the staff problem…”
Daniel had no idea that all his job applications had been ‘intercepted’ by Sarah. She knew damn well that ‘he’ was a man. She also knew about his being a closet crossdresser; Daniel had risked going out in public once or twice, and she had seen ‘him’ as Daniella when she had been shopping in town. It was Daniella that had got the job, not Daniel…
Now, Sarah helped Daniella get ready, doing her best not to let on that she knew…
Daniel was loving every minute, even though he was trying not to. Everything was such a higher quality than his experiments, and it felt amazing. The satin against his body, the silicone padding in the bra, everything. All this, with a beautiful woman similarly dressed helping him…
By the time Sarah had finished, she just turned Daniel toward the mirror…
Daniella stared back at him. A gorgeous, refined lady of class. Lady Fitzwilliam would love her…
Sarah and Daniella then went back to meet Rachael and Lady Fitzwilliam in the drawing room.
“Ah! There you are, my dear, beautifully turned out. What was with that shocking appearance earlier?”, she said.
“I came straight from an overnight soiree”, Daniella replied, thinking fast. “It was fancy dress. I had to play a boy.”
“Well, you were amazingly good”, Lady Fitzwilliam said, chuckling. “You gave me quite a start.”
After the ‘hiccup’, things went very well at the manor.
Daniella was indeed very good at ‘her’ job; Lady Fitzwilliam had visitors that afternoon, and all of them had good things to say about Daniella when they left. The staff also found her firm, but easy going. Once she had got over the initial transition, Daniella also settled into the part very well as well, quite easy with being seen as a woman as well as being out in public like it. She had also, as part of her work at the manor, found out about what Sarah had done…
Mock seriously, she advanced on Sarah after work one evening.
“I know what you did!”, she said. “I know why Lady Fitzwilliam thought I was a woman.”
Sarah went white as a sheet. “I can explain…!”
“Please do…”, said Daniella, coolly.
“I meant what I said about your qualifications. They are perfect for here, as you have proved today. I also knew about your, shall we say, interest in women’s clothing; you looked so much happier as a woman, too…”
Sarah, now blushing herself, stared intently at the floor, not able to meet Daniella’s gaze.
“I also fancy you…”, she said, quietly. “A beautiful, intelligent woman with a hidden secret…”
Daniella cupped Sarah’s chin in her hand, making her eyes look at her.
“And what am I going to do with you now…”, she said, smiling wickedly…
