She’d been watching the woman for some time.

Anoosha Perrin was an attractive Indian woman. She worked as a PCSO in her neighbourhood; people were used to seeing her on patrol.

One morning, she was just finishing up and the woman walked up alongside her.

“Glad to see you like being wrapped up in rainwear”, she said.

“Excuse me?”, Anoosha asked.

“Let me put it this way”, the woman said. “Unless you do exactly what I say at the end of your shift, I will kill you.”

Anoosha went white. Her hand moved towards her radio and phone.

“They’re both jammed”, the woman said. “By the device I’ve just locked onto the back of your uniform collar. If you attempt to remove it, it will explode. It also has a GPS tracker built into it, so I can find you wherever you go.”

“I can also hear you and see you anywhere”, she continued. “You try telling anyone what’s happening, and your head and body will part company.”

“I’ll pick you up after work. Leave all your personal belongings, including your mobile in your locker. If you have to take your uniform off, just squeeze the device on your collar”, she said, walking away…

Anoosha was shocked. She tried not to cry as she carried on walking her beat, but inside her head was spinning.

What should she do? Was there any way of getting help? Was the woman just bluffing?

She put her hand up to her neck, behind her hair, and felt a tiny bump on her collar. As she got a finger near it, it vibrated, and she hurriedly pulled her finger away.

She had to assume that the threat was real…

She carried on with her shift as usual; did everything she was ordered, made sure that there was nothing out of the ordinary. She was still absolutely terrified but trying not to show it.

Back at the station, she realised that she had to change into ‘civvies’ to go off shift, as she was supposed to be going on somewhere and had brought them in in a bag. Trying to keep things as normal as possible, she followed the instructions the woman had given her and squeezed the ‘bump’.

There was a blinding pain in her head, like a heavy migraine. Anoosha truly felt she had got things wrong, and her head was coming off…

The pain, however, quickly went away. Anoosha’s hand brushed against her neck as she got changed, and she felt the small bump just under her skull. The device had embedded itself in her.

There were tears in her eyes already, from the pain; Anoosha suddenly realised she had made things go from bad to worse…

Sobbing quietly, she quickly finished changing and was soon dressed in a plain blouse and skirt combination. She then pulled her raincoat on over the top and left the Police Station, closing her locker as she left.

Walking outside, she saw the woman waiting for her across the road, under a tree at the edge of the park. To her amazement, the woman walked up to her, hugged and kissed her.

“Hello, beautiful! Ready to go on a little trip? Ah, not quite ready…”

She found Anoosha’s mobile in her pocket, as well as her purse.

“I said no personal belongings!”, chided the woman. “Still, it’s your first offense, so I’ll let you get away with it.”

She took the purse and mobile; the mobile she switched off and dropped down the nearest drain, the purse she threw in a bin.

“You won’t be needing these anymore”, she said.

Tears filled Anoosha’s eyes…

The pair walked a short distance and turned down an alley out of sight of any security cameras. The woman’s car was parked there.

“Get in”, she said, opening the passenger door. Anoosha hesitated. The woman pressed a button on her belt. Moaning, Anoosha dropped to her knees. The migraine-like pain was back. Just as quickly, the pain went again as the woman pressed another button.

“I won’t ask again”, the woman said.

Anoosha, beyond hope, got in…

The woman buckled Anoosha in, then went round to the driver’s seat.

It was a short drive to the ‘facility’…

They approached a nondescript warehouse on the outskirts of town.

The woman parked up, got out, got Anoosha out then marched her into the warehouse.

Inside, two women completely covered from head to foot in black latex took hold of Anoosha’s arms and pulled the now struggling woman into a room and strapped her down into a cot.

“Which version do you want?”, another woman in a white coat asked.

“The loyal wife. She’s got a mark one control device in her neck.”

“OK, she’ll be ready this time tomorrow. Leave her with us. Where do you want the sensor?”

“In her right palm. She can walk on the left of me.”

Anoosha fought and struggled to get free. One of the latex clad women then sedated her…

Anoosha’s hair, head and body, was quickly shaved off. The chip in her neck was carefully removed by a special tool, to be ‘upgraded’. It was then reprogrammed and refitted, linked to a fingerprint sensor that was going to be embedded in Anoosha’s right palm through her new skinsuit, which was made of transparent latex and covered her from head to foot.

Anoosha’s mouth was sealed shut, with a tiny hole so she could still take in liquids, and the skinsuit was welded onto her. A small indicator on the fingerprint sensor changed from red to green, showing it had paired with both the suit and the chip in Anoosha’s neck. Once her new owner pressed her thumb twice on the sensor, Anoosha would be her property. This had to be done in the owner’s own house, as it set the curfew limits for the suit. Once this was done, if Anoosha tried to leave without her owner, she would get a shock from the control chip. If she kept going, the suit would become airtight and she would suffocate.

Even if she went out with her owner, her owner had to keep their thumb pressed on the sensor. If she and Anoosha got separated, after a minute Anoosha would get a shock, then the suit would go airtight again in another minute.

There was only one way Anoosha could save herself if this happened; she would have to be on her knees, right palm upraised, in front of her owner. If her owner pressed the sensor whilst kissing her, signifying that she had forgiven her, the suit would unlock.

Anoosha’s new owner was explained all this when she got back to collect her, and she explained it all to Anoosha when she regained consciousness in her new home.

Anoosha was more frightened about the fact that she couldn’t talk or open her mouth anymore.

“It’s a feature of the upgraded chipset”, her new owner said. “You don’t eat any more, you charge in a closet that I’ve had installed. It’s another way of controlling you.”

The suited Anoosha was then driven to her new home.

As her owner carried her across the threshold, treating her new wife as she should, she tapped twice on the sensor…
