Amanda had invited her friends round, Jennie and Lynn. She was very excited.

“I got invited to a private viewing last night”, she said. “Something really amazing. There was an auction for charity for the piece, and I won it!”

Amanda’s friends had never seen her this animated. Then, they caught sight of something…

In the corner of the room was a new statue, a life-size figure of a woman. It was purple, but shiny, and the light reflected in rainbows where it hit it. The form was completely naked and very anatomically correct, apart from two things; a blank area between the legs, and the face was like a shop window dummy, no detail to it.

“Ah, you’ve spotted her”, Amanda said. “She’s called ‘The Purple Ghost’.”

Jennie and Lynn looked closer, inspecting her. She was really sensual, her body glistening in the light. Then Lynn noticed something. The reflections were twinkling, albeit slightly. Her chest was rising and falling…

“Shit!”, exclaimed Lynn, taking a step back. “She’s breathing!”

“Of course she is”, said Amanda. “She’s a perfect reproduction of the female form.”

Jennie couldn’t believe it. She and Lynn looked under the statue, trying to see where the power cord was plugged in to run the ‘animatronic’ of her breathing.

“Where’s it getting its power from?”, asked Jennie. “Surely the animatronic has to be powered by something.”

“She is completely self-contained”, said Amanda. “As far as power goes, I recharge her by feeding her. Do you want to see?”

Both Jennie and Lynn nodded, and Amanda vanished into the kitchen, returning with a babies bottle full of something. She then pressed the nipple of the bottle where a person’s mouth would be. The nipple disappeared into the statue, and the liquid started draining from the bottle. At the same time, both Jennie and Lynn could see movement in the statue’s neck…

“Ye gods! It’s swallowing!”

“Of course. I said she was a perfect reproduction.”

Jennie and Lynn were suitably amazed.

Amanda and her friends talked for a bit longer, then they left.

Once they had gone, Amanda turned back to her statue, lifting her hands towards its head in a certain way. The statue leaned back, shaking its head.

“I thought you’d like your mask off for a while. Are you sure you are happy like that for now?”

The statue nodded, slowly.

“Ok, K’Tania. Your choice. Do you need the toilet?”. A nod. “Ok, go, then get straight back onto your stand. I don’t think anyone else is coming over today, but I’d rather not take any chances…”

The woman that was a statue got off of her stand and padded off to the toilet, pressing on the side of herself in a certain way, operable only by herself or Amanda, to retract the cover…

The suit had literally saved K’Tania’s life…

She had been traumatised by an experience that she’d long forgotten when she was younger, but it had done lasting damage to her. Now permanently violently agoraphobic, as well as being totally unable to cope with the company of others, it had been quite by accident that she had discovered that simply putting a layer of something between herself and everything else helped to calm her. She tried fabrics to start with, as well as items such as Abayas and Burqas, walking around completely veiled in her flats at times. Then she discovered, once again by chance, the wonders of latex…

A few weeks after her first experiments, she had had a special latex suit designed for her and sealed herself in it. Problem was, she made a mistake when first wearing it, not realising that apart from the removable mask and crotch cover, it was permanent. She could now cope with people, and go out in public, but they couldn’t cope with her, thinking she was some kind of crazy fetish doll.

Sucking on one of her feeding bottles one night, another thing she had got addicted to, she realised she hadn’t taken her mask off to eat for a month. She also thought of an amazing way to give back to the charity that had tried to help her in the first place…

She set up the ‘auction’ and viewing on Facebook, getting one of the Charity Administrators to help. He never knew that the statue he was auctioning off was K’Tania herself…

Amanda had finally convinced K’Tania to let her take of her mask.

Pressing her head at one side, the mask popped open, and Amanda lifted it off. K’Tania smiled at her, then kissed her.

“I love you, you know”, she said. “I can’t believe everything that you’ve done for me. You know I’m real in here, a real person, but you still treat me as I want to be treated, a statue with benefits…!”

“Of course I do”, said Amanda, kissing her back. “I love you too, both as a statue and as you. I’d do anything for you. I’m a little hurt that you wear your mask so much, but I’m prepared to put up with it as you need it to live.”

“Thank you”, said K’Tania. “Talking of that…”

Amanda smiled as she refitted K’Tania’s mask…
