Annie Morphs 06

Tiger by the Tail

I noticed Annie looked a little perturbed.

‘What’s the matter?’ I asked.

‘Haven’t you noticed anything different?’ she replied.

‘Like what?’

‘The skirt.’

Annie was wearing a black full-length skirt. Her black suede boots peeped out of the bottom.

‘Is it new?’ I asked. ‘It’s very nice.’

Without her legs moving, there was a sudden swish of movement as if there was something underneath the back of the skirt moving about.

‘What was that?’ I asked, slightly surprised.

‘My tail,’ replied Annie. ‘I can’t get rid of it.’ She glanced about furtively to check no-one was watching her, then hitched up the rear of her skirt. Sure enough, a tail shyly popped out and had an experimental wag now it was free from its cover. It was covered in beautiful black and gold stripes of fur.

‘I changed into a tiger this morning,’ explained Annie, ‘but when I changed back my tail insisted on staying. It just won’t go – look.’

Annie wagged her tail some more, then closed her eyes. Her entire body tensed and she involuntarily grunted with the strain of the effort. But the tail persisted. She let it hide beneath her skirt once more.

‘I wouldn’t mind, but it’s playing havoc with my knickers. That’s why I’ve gone without.’

I spat out my tea.
