Annie Morphs 01

Catnap

The cat came in through Annie’s bedroom window and sat on her bed.

Then it began to grow, larger and larger, its legs stretching out behind it one at a time, lengthening and beginning to lose their golden fur. Paws unbunched into dainty pink human feet or flat palms with wriggly fingers coming to life. The torso elongated and curved into shape, hips and breasts emerging from behind the fur. As the face lost its angles and whiskers and became more rounded it became more recognisable.

This was Annie, returning to human form after a morning of cat-shaped escapades. Her plump bottom was losing its tail, already less than half its original length when Annie let out a cry of pain and the changes abruptly stopped.

She sat up, her cat/human hybrid form naked apart from a little fur on her face and shoulders, now the same blonde as her recently returned hair. Her face was human enough to look worried. She closed eyes that still had oval pupils and frowned, willing her body to complete its changes.

Nothing happened.

Her face turned red and she grunted and strained, her muscles twitching as she tried to reshape her body, her stumpy tail waggling anxiously. She looked at her paw-like hands and made fists, gasping with the effort of changing them. When they refused to change, she let out a frustrated gasp and admitted defeat.

She’d exhausted herself and her power.

Tired out, the catgirl pulled the covers over herself and dozed off.
