Mike woke up on Christmas morning, eager to open up his presents. Bounding over to the tree, he immediately grabbed at the colorful box that had mysteriously arrived last night, without his knowing. It was labeled “From: Crystal”. His girlfriend, who he, surprisingly, hadn’t heard from last night. He had been hoping to spend Christmas Eve snuggled up with her in front of a roaring fire… which was perhaps a tad cliché.
He tore open the wrapping, and popped open the lid of the box.
“Boo!” the box shouted.
Mike screamed like a girl and tumbled backwards, dropping the box. “Augh!”
“Ow!” the box winced, as it fell to the ground, and its’ contents spilled out onto the carpet. Crystal’s head rolled over the floor, bumping against Mike’s foot.
“What the…” Mike exhaled, coming to his senses. “Crystal?”
“Ow, ow… I should have known scaring you like that was a bad idea.” Crystal muttered to herself.
Mike gingerly picked up her head. “Why… are you a head?”
“You know I’m a witch. I’m your Christmas present!” she said, gleefully.
“Your head?” Mike raised an eyebrow.
Crystal simply winked at him.
“Where’s the rest of you?” Mike looked under his tree again, hoping to find more of her to unwrap.
“Oh.” Crystal said, biting her lip. “I was kind of hoping this would be enough.”
“Well… Of course it is.” Mike hugged her close to his chest. “But, why?”
“I’m a poor witch, Mike.” Crystal frowned. “I couldn’t really afford any presents this year, so…”

Crystal paced around her Spartan, dingy, one-room apartment, biting her nails, and fretting with worry. It was the night before Christmas, and because her last paycheck at her lousy job bounced, she had been left nearly penniless to afford presents for her friends this year. She wasn’t even sure she could afford rent next month. Even a witch had hard time making money in this day and age.
Then, she had an idea. It would solve all her problems. She would have presents for everyone, and she wouldn’t have to pay rent. Heck, she wouldn’t have to worry about money ever again!
She went out and spent the last of her money on some boxes, wrapping paper and cards, the best she could find. Presentation was important, after all. Back at the ‘home’ she was about to leave for good, she dumped the supplies on the table. Picking up a present tag and card, she cast a little spell that would automagically write what she was saying on it.
“To: Elise, From: Crystal.” Crystal said aloud, as she cast a few other spells. “Merry Christmas!”
Her right arm glowed with magic, and it floated into the air, off of her shoulder and no longer attached to her. A long and thin box popped open all by itself, and her disembodied arm floated down into them. Wrapping paper sprung to life, neatly tearing itself and enfolding the box. “Being a mother of three is a handful, so here’s a helping hand to help you manage.”
The present bundled itself up neatly in a ribbon, and the tag and card stuck to it, fully filled out. Satisfied, Crystal cast another quick spell, and the box suddenly vanished from her sight. She was confident it would appear under Elise’s tree.
Crystal resumed her spellcasting, levitating a similarly shaped box. This time, her left arm neatly detached itself from her shoulder, as it was quickly packaged up like her right. “To: Brendon, From: Crystal. I know it’s not quite the right gender, but here’s hoping this will give you an edge against your band’s competition! Merry Christmas!”
The present winked out of her sight as before, settling itself under Brendon’s tree. She sighed as she watched it go. More gift wrapping material began to float into the air.
“To: Lucy, From: Crystal.”
Crystal sat down in the only chair in her apartment as she weaved her next spell. Her feet popped off the ends of her legs, and nestled themselves in a small shoe-sized box. “Merry Christmas! Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” She giggled to herself. The box wrapped itself and blinked over to Lucy’s house, in her bedroom instead of under her tree. She would want to keep this particular present to herself.
A much larger box floated up, alongside Crystal’s detached legs. She wriggled her empty hips, giggling. Being in pieces was always fun, though this was going to be a good deal more permanent than she was used to.
“To: Martha, From: Crystal. Happy Holidays! They’re not quite the designer brand you were looking for, but I hope these will do! Sorry, but feet not included.” The neatly-wrapped present vanished, to appear under Martha’s tree.
Crystal squirmed. She was now missing all her limbs. Fortunately, a witch was never helpless. Her head floated up and off of her neck, allowing her to examine the remainder of her body. With a thought, her clothes flew off her, leaving her nude.
Crystal’s breasts lifted themselves off her chest. “To: Ruby, From: Crystal. Merry Christmas, you lovely, flat-chested girl. Take care of them!” They floated up next to her head, and she gave each one a kiss before packaging up her girls. She sadly watched the present vanish to under Ruby’s tree. Fortunately, her boyfriend Mike wasn’t much of a boob man, so hopefully he wouldn’t mind.
Crystal was about to wrap up the second-to-last present when a thought occurred to her. She cast a quick extra spell in preparation. Then, the largest box popped its’ lid, and her body floated down into it as it wrapped itself. “To: Ashley, From: Crystal. I know you’ve always admired my figure, so, it’s yours! Merry Christmas!”
The box vanished, leaving Crystal’s head floating around in the apartment. It suddenly seemed a lot bigger, now that she was a lot smaller. She giggled to herself, as she prepared the last present.
“To: Mike, Love: Crystal. Merry Christmas!” She didn’t really need to write anything else. He’d get the idea. Casting an extra spell as a final touch to the gift, her floating head gently lowered itself into the box, which promptly dressed itself up.
As an afterthought, she added a few small airholes, and teleported herself underneath Mike’s tree. Now, she could finally relax, Christmas taken care of. She sighed quietly to herself, and thought to get some shuteye before Christmas morning.

“So you gave yourself away for Christmas.” Mike frowned.
“I didn’t have much else to give.” Crystal pouted. “I’d hoped this would be enough for you.”
“Well, I understand.” Mike brought Crystal up to his face for a kiss. “And at least I have the most important part of you.”
“Aww! You’re so sweet. I’m so glad you don’t just want me for my body.” Crystal smiled.
“Well, I’d be pretty out of luck then, wouldn’t I?” Mike chuckled, as he embraced Crystal. “But, what are you going to do? Surely you don’t intend to just remain like this forever?”
“I’m a witch, I’ll get by.” Crystal laughed. “I might ask you to let me borrow your body from time to time.”
“Well, I did get you a locket for Christmas… which you can’t really wear now…” Mike frowned, “So, sure. That’ll be your proper present. Whenever you want.” Mike grinned.
“You’re the best!” Crystal said with glee. “Just for that, I’ll let you in on another secret.”
“What is it?” Mike asked, curiously.
“Look under my neck.”
Mike raised an eyebrow, and turned Crystal over in his hands. “Oh.”
“Yes, that is the appropriate reaction.” Crystal giggled.
“I’m certainly glad to see that, at least.” Mike grinned.
“Want to make use of the rest of your present?” Crystal winked.
“With pleasure.”
