Melissa woke up the next morning grumpily. She had had a great night’s sleep somehow… but she wasn’t quite a morning person. She yawned, and frowned at the small, oblong tan-colored pillow lying next to her in her bed. She didn’t remember buying it. Oh well. There were more pressing matters at hand, like her need to pee.
She stumbled into the bathroom and promptly sat down and got to business. It took her a moment to realize she wasn’t hearing the usual peeing noises, even though she was sure she was peeing. She looked down, to find her vagina missing. Her eyes widened as she tried her best to stop the flow, standing up quickly as last night came flooding back to her. She let out an inaudible yelp, concerned that she might have just wet her bed in the weirdest way possible.
As she ran out of the bathroom she noticed her mouth and breasts weren’t on either. And the weird pillow she had been cuddling… oh, god. That’s right. The stickers. She whipped off her covers to find the weird double-breast that Janet had been reduced to, her mouth sticker, and lying in a puddle that she’d rather not think about, her vagina sticker.
Melissa sighed, grabbing her mouth and sticking it back to her face. She gingerly picked up her detached vagina and flicked off as much of the liquid as possible before carrying it with her to the sink.
If nothing else, the stickers certainly made washing it easier. But she still had to change her sheets now. Melissa decided restoring Janet could wait until she had done that at least. Janet did not need to know about this embarrassment. As she changed her sheets, she found a second boob-pillow, this one with nipples. Must be hers. Melissa hefted the soft orbs up and peeled them off one another, placing them back on her chest. After a brief moment of deliberation, she realized she had swapped their places. She shrugged, and got dressed.
Now, for Janet. She hesitated for a moment when she realized she had been cuddling not just her own, but Janet’s breasts too, all night long. She sighed again. Janet was sure to have some choice words for her.
With some effort, Melissa peeled Janet’s breasts apart. At first glance she couldn’t tell which breast had the rest of her body stuck to it, but careful examination revealed a slightly thicker layer of “skin” behind one of them. She picked at the layer, and it peeled off, rapidly expanding into Janet’s upper chest. Melissa then groaned as she remembered just how many individual stickers Janet had managed to reduce herself to. Well, if she just got her arms out, she could take care of the rest, right?
Janet’s chest wiggled on the bed, as if stretching a little. Melissa giggled. Now, where did Janet stick the rest of her to… that’s right, her hands were in her neck area. She peeled off a small circle from Janet’s ‘neck’, which popped out as Janet’s right hand. It too, flexed a little. Better do her head next. Melissa peeled off a larger circle from the ‘neck’… which just became a round disc, her actual neck. Melissa set it aside and peeled of the next sticker, her actual head, which popped into existence, though completely featureless.
Right, all her facial features were on separate stickers too. Melissa sighed and peeled off Janet’s right ear. She didn’t bother reattaching it though. “Good morning.” She said to it. Janet’s bits seemed to wiggle in response. “Guess you’d like your mouth back, huh?”
Melissa peeled off the sticker covering up Janet’s mouth and dropped it to the bed. The mouth opened up and stretched, before letting out a sleepy, “Good morning.”
Melissa giggled. “Have a nice sleep?”
“The best.” Janet replied. “Though you didn’t really let me sleep much…” Janet teased.
“Oh, god.”
“How was I? Must’ve been a pretty good pillow, the way you cuddled with me…” Janet snickered.
“Can we not?” Melissa said timidly, blushing.
“Don’t worry about it.” Janet laughed, “It was nice.”
That only made Melissa blush even harder. “Sorry.” She mumbled.
“And the bit with my nipples…” Janet snickered again.
“Ohhhh, god.” Melissa buried her face in her pillow in embarrassment.
“I didn’t know you had it in you to do stuff like that!” Janet howled in laughter. “Don’t worry though, really! It was… interesting. I’d wink at you, but I don’t have eyes…”
“Just kill me.” Melissa mumbled through her pillow.
“Just get the rest of my arms out and I can probably finish peeling the rest of myself out.” Janet said. Melissa found Janet’s disembodied hand patting her on the head.
Melissa picked up Janet’s hand and peeled off her other hand from behind it, reassembling Janet’s arms shortly after, from the 6 or so stickers stuck behind each hand. She stuck them to Janet’s torso.
“Alright. I’ll do the rest, if you want.” Janet said, picking up her breasts and sticking them back to her chest.
“Really... sorry about that.” Melissa whispered again.
“Oh my god, stop saying that. It was great, really. If you want to make it up to me, go make us breakfast. I’m starving.” Janet said, feeling underneath her abbreviated chest for the sticker containing her lower body parts.
“Okay, sure…” Melissa said, leaving Janet to her own devices.
“Man, stickers in stickers in stickers.” She heard Janet mumbling as she left for the kitchen.
“Breakfast, breakfast.” Melissa muttered, when she snapped her fingers. “Oh, it’ll be easier with some extra hands.” Melissa grinned and grabbed some sticker paper, quickly printing out extra copies of her arms and attaching them underneath her own.
Some fifteen minutes later, breakfast was ready, and Melissa called out to Janet. “Janet, breakfast!”
Janet came rushing up to the kitchen table. Much to Melissa’s surprise, she was back to normal. Minus her nose still though.
“No nose?” Melissa laughed, “But then you can’t smell the bacon!” she sat down across from Janet, and waved a plate of bacon in front of her face.
“Oh, right. Well, I’ll just borrow yours!” Janet laughed, darting a hand out for Melissa’s nose. She was disappointed to find she couldn’t peel it off.
“I never used a sticker on just my nose, Janet.” Melissa frowned.
“Oh. Darn. So much for my brilliant ‘got your nose’ joke.” Janet sighed. “Nice arms, by the way.” She peeled off her nose sticker from the flat area in the middle of her face, popping it back into existence, and stuck it back where it belonged.
Melissa flexed her four arms. “Heh. Really helped speed things along.”
“Wow, I totally forgot what smelling was like.” Janet said, sniffing the spread Melissa had prepared.
“Yeah, you spent almost the entire day without a nose.” Melissa joked, as she took a bite of toast.
“I guess I did.” Janet laughed. “Also without a lot of my body, really.” Janet winked.
“True enough.”
The girls finished up their breakfast.
“You want to do the dishes since I did breakfast?” Melissa asked.
Janet pouted. “Lame.”
“You could make extra arms to speed things up.” Melissa suggested.
“Ooh, good point. Can I just have yours?”
“Um… I don’t see why not.” Melissa shrugged.
Janet gleefully stood up and grabbed Melissa’s arms right off her shoulders.
“Janet, those are my original arms!” Melissa protested, as she stared in disbelief at her remaining arms. They looked severely dislocated.
“So?” Janet laughed, attaching Melissa’s arms below her own. “Still arms.” She started gathering up plates, easily able to take them all in a single trip to the sink.
“I guess. They’re not in a very comfortable spot though.”
“So move them, duh.”
“Right.” Melissa peeled off her left arm with her right, then had a thought, remembering her backwards head from last night. She stuck it to her right shoulder, facing backwards, and repeated the process with her other arm. Then she reached her hands up to peel off her head. She frowned when she found that she couldn’t. She had definitely been decapitated last night. She tried peeling off her mouth, to find that it too was no longer a sticker.
“Well, I guess we found the time limit on the stickers.” Melissa said to Janet, who was just finishing washing up. “About a day.”
“Makes sense.” Janet said. She tentatively tried to peel her mouth off, which would not budge either. “Yup. I’m all stuck together again. Time for more stickers, then!” she laughed.
Melissa followed her to the TV room where the stack of stickers lay. She frowned as she bent over and failed to pick them up, her arms were backwards. Janet giggled. “What are you trying to do?”
“Make myself backwards.” Melissa said, turning around and successfully grabbing a sheet. She stuck her head in, popped it out, and reattached it facing backwards. “Whaddya think?” Melissa said, striking a pose.
Janet laughed, “Try walking like that.”
Melissa took a step forward… wait, was that backwards? “Oh. That’s gonna get confusing fast…” She tried walking backwards, and was rewarded with moving forward. “Okay, maybe this wasn’t the best idea.”
“Unless you reverse your legs, too.” Janet suggested.
“Too much work.” Melissa shook her head, and peeled it off, sticking it on like normal. She proceeded to fix her arms too, but was stopped by Janet.
“Wait, I need to give your arms back. Or vanish them?” Janet said, popping off an extra arm.
“So?”
“So large sticker parts can only stick into another stickered part.” Janet said.
“Really? I hadn’t noticed.” Melissa said, but realized she was right. She offered her arm stump to Janet, who pushed the extra arm in backwards, vanishing as it slid inwards. The other arm went the same way, then Melissa stuck her arm back on the blank stump.
“If it’s a flat sticker though, it can go anywhere, even over other bits of us, and sorta seal them shut.” Janet demonstrated by peeling off her mouth and sticking it backwards to cover up an eye with smooth skin.
“So, what happens to those bits, I wonder. Since we left those extra parts there, can we still peel them out whenever we want?” Melissa pondered.
“I think they just disappear when the timer runs out.” Janet had peeled her mouth free, revealing her eye again.
“But the timer ran out while you were completely vanished.” Melissa bit her lip, “Oh, god, I didn’t think of that, what if it had stuck you like that forever?”
“Don’t worry.” Janet laughed, “The stickers will work until their timer is up and they’re placed back to normal. Little failsafe.” Janet played with her mouth sticker, peeling it on and off random spots, until she finally settled on leaving it where it belonged, albeit upside-down.
“You seem to know a lot more about these than you’re letting on.” Melissa said, curiously.
“Just some tips the salesgirl told me.” Janet said, “Mostly about how to fix things when they go wrong.”
“Ah. Well, good thinking ahead then.” Melissa said, picking up another sheet of sticker. “So what else can we do with these?”
“Well, there’s something I do want to try…” Janet said, sidling up to Melissa.
“Oh?” Melissa said, already suspicious. She recognized the grin on Janet’s face. Which meant that she was prepared to duck when Janet lunged for her head. She hadn’t thought her escape plan through though, as she fell over backwards as Janet tripped over her.
“Nice try.” Janet laughed, pinning Melissa to the floor. She took hold of either side of Melissa’s head and yanked it off her shoulders.
“Oof. Okay, fine. What’s the idea?” Melissa giggled, head in Janet’s hands.
Janet simply smiled and stuck Melissa’s head just to the left of her own, on her shoulder.
“Whoah.” Both girls said at once.
“I can move your body!” Melissa said, excitedly, as Janet’s arms waved about.
“Hey, it worked!” Janet giggled. “We’re sharing my body.”
“This is weird.” Melissa laughed. She started making silly poses with Janet’s body.
“Hey, stop for a minute.” Janet said, and suddenly, her body started flailing around.
“Ahh!” the girls shouted.
“Okay, so… don’t fight over control.” Melissa muttered, as they calmed down. “I’ll stop moving.”
“Alright… can you still move your own body?” Janet said, pointing at Melissa’s headless body.
“Uh…” Melissa concentrated for a bit. “Yeah, it’s like when I had a copy of my body.” Melissa waved at herself and Janet.
“Cool. Alright. Let me do something real quick, then you can have control.” Janet said, walking over to the pile of stickers. She pulled a sheet over her head, and promptly plopped her head out onto Melissa’s headless body.
“Hey! That’s my body!” Melissa protested.
“And you have mine, so what?” Janet laughed. She flexed Melissa’s body. “Your body feels different… and I can’t feel my body anymore.”
“I can’t feel mine either.” Melissa frowned. “So it looks like our heads are what control everything then.”
“Yeah. Makes sense.” Janet said. “But what happens when we say, vanish our heads?”
Melissa shrugged, and popped her head off Janet’s body. She flipped it upside down and started vanishing it into Janet’s blank shoulders. Aside from the barely noticeable shift in skin tone between her head sticker and Janet’s skin, it simply looked like Janet’s headless body was all that was left. Janet watched as her body waved to her.
“I guess you’re still in there then.” Janet nodded.
Melissa peeled her head out again. “So, it looks like we’d keep control of whatever we had left.”
“That also kind of answers another question, we don’t need to use our own bodies to vanish parts.” Janet added.
“Oh, yeah. I hadn’t thought of that. Isn’t that kind of dangerous? Can’t you steal someone’s parts and keep them in your body?” Melissa wondered aloud. She then noticed the grin on Janet’s face. “Oh, no.”
“You may just wake up without a head one morning. Or without a body.” Janet laughed. “I haven’t decided yet.”
“Sigh. Something to look forward to, I guess. Wanna trade bodies back now?” Melissa asked, offering Janet her head.
“Not yet. I wanna swap more.”
