I don't advocate that everyone run out and try the methods described here. I provide this information only so that those who are seriously into bondage and want to try this advanced technique can have the benefit of my years of experience and perhaps do it a little more safely and more enjoyably.
A number of considerations are important in suspension. First is the stress on your equipment. It would, of course, be silly for someone to try to support a one-hundred-and-thirty-pound woman with a piece of kite string. Yet you might be doing almost the same thing if you are using old rope that has been worn or exposed to water. Cotton clothesline is generally used and is very satisfactory for most all bondage purposes, but it does get old. Clothesline that has been wet will tend to be weaker and therefore more likely to break if put under strain. The thing to do if you are using clothesline, new or old, is to double or quadruple the ropes so that the stress is taken by more than just one strand. If you use two ropes instead of one, each has only half the stress on it that it would have if it were single. Four lengths together mean that each has only one-fourth the stress. When using rope, I always make sure that I have at least two, and often more, lengths taking the weight. Most suspensions described here would prove painful or very dangerous if the rope broke and the subject was dropped.
Doorways are very good because they are a rigid framework and are strong. A hook screwed into the top of a doorway will usually support the weight with ease. Rafters in the garage will often work quite well; just be sure to test them before hanging the subject. They weren't meant to take heavy weights and some might not be strong enough. The same is true of any hook or beam, whether in a ceiling or a doorway. Test them all first by using a weight heavier than your subject.
The other problem that might arise from circulation occurs when the subject is inverted. By inverted, I mean anytime the subject's head is lower than her torso. In such a case the blood will rush to the head since it always tends to move to the lowest parts of the body. This can have the undesirable results of dizziness, light headedness and even passing out. It's the same effect you get when you stand on your head for a while. The main thing to remember is to not hang your subject inverted for any length of time.
There are many ways of suspending a subject, depending on how severe you want it and whether you want to have her available for sexual activities or if it is just for her enjoyment of the extreme helplessness. The simplest ways are the wrist hang and the inverted ankle hang. In either of these the technique is simple. Just tie the wrists or ankles together, then tie the supporting rope counter to the main wraps, as a cinch rope. This will tighten down the main wraps and give you a support that will be equal on both wrists or ankles. Run this rope over your hook or beam and back through the wrists or ankles again. This should be done several times to ensure that there is no way the rope will break.
One interesting variation that makes the wrist hang position one of the most restrictive possible is if you can place her so that there is something directly under her. This should be something that is solid such as a heavy object or a hook in the floor. You then tie a rope from her ankles to this hook. Not too tight, remember she has all her weigl1t on her wrists and you don't want to add any more, but tight enough to prevent her from moving her legs. Unless this is done, she can 'kick her legs out, bend them and therefore have some movement. Unless you want to watch this dance as she struggles what little she can, you should secure the feet down.
Suspension by the feet should be tried only by someone who has tried other forms before and is experienced, since it is the most dangerous. With the wrist suspension, if the rope breaks, she lands on her feet, but with ankle suspension you take the chance of dropping her on her head. When binding her hands before pulling her up by the heels, be sure to tie the hands and arms to the body. If you just tie the wrists together behind the back they will stick out when she is inverted, spoiling the artistic effect of a straight body from toes to nose.
And again, don't forget her pleasure. If you have the height adjusted correctly, the inverted position provides a most interesting and unique "69" position. You can have a lot of fun experimenting with that.
This position may seem simple at first but it has some advantages. The first is that there is less strain on her wrists and ankles than there is in either the inverted ankle hang or the wrist hang. This means that she can stay this way longer. The other advantage is that the arms are shorter than the legs; therefore, her upper torso is higher than her bottom. This puts her bottom at just the right angle to make a little intercourse possible while she is hanging. That adds a nice personal touch to her torment.
Just tie her wrists in front of her and tie the ankles together as before. This time pass a rope between the arms and the legs, and bring it back to its other end where there is a small loop tied. Pass it through this loop to form a larger loop that includes her wrists and ankle bondage in it. The end of this rope is passed through your hook or over your beam, then pulled. As she is lifted off the ground the tightening loop will force her wrists and ankles together, producing a position much like that with the pole, but much tighter and not so comfortable. Again, she can stay hanging this way longer than with other techniques, and you have an inviting target that swings back and forth while you stand there with your shaft intact.
strenuous position and can't be maintained for as long a period.
Partial suspension can produce some of the effects of total suspension without the same degree of strain. For example, tie her legs together at the ankles and knees. Tie the hands behind her and make her lie on her back. Fix a rope to her ankle bondage and use this to lift her legs high enough so that her bottom is lifted six inches to one foot off the ground. With her ass off the floor there is little weight on her hands and they will be comfortable. Half her weight is on her shoulders and half on her legs so this is a little more comfortable than a full suspension.
Many of these suspensions lend themselves to the addition of a spanking as a punishment, assuming that she needs to be punished. Wrist suspension is very good because it leaves the bottom unprotected by the hands. After her ass is a nice cherry red you can lower her until her feet touch the floor enough to take most of her weight on them. Secure the rope again and this will leave her in a position that still holds her arms high over her head but is more comfortable, so she can stand there for quite a while thinking about her warm ass and whatever it was that caused her to deserve the spanking.I have by no means exhausted the possible suspension positions. Just remember the general consideration I gave earlier so you can make the whole experience a safe and enjoyable one. Also, you should tend to leave the suspension until later if your subject is new to bondage. Most of these are strenuous to some degree and should be performed only on someone who already enjoys the stricter bondage.
Well, have fun and the next time that little slave girl complains because she hasn't been able to touch the floor for the last half hour, just tell her to "Hang in there, babe!"
