This setting is in an heroic fantasy world (so yay, dragons, magic, etc...) and within it lives <b>Avara</b>.<br /><br />This drawing comes from a friend's request. Here is her story:<br /><br /><i>Kidnapped at the age of 9, when her village was raided, Avara was mutilated by her cruel captors, and was put under a curse that caused her to enter a decade long coma. During this time, she was used as a computer by an evil wizard for an unknown purpose. Since she no longer had limbs, and her brain was being pushed beyond its limits, she wound up developing psionic powers. After awakening, her hardships were not yet done, and though she was allowed to leave, the world she entered was far from kind, and she returned to the employ of her former captor, due to his promises to return her home.<br />Before that could happen, though, adventurers defeated and slew the evil wizard, and "freed" her. She traveled with them a time, until she managed to get home on her own. Her powers are still intact, and powerful enough to allow her to lend their use to other adventurers so that she can continue to earn a living despite her physical hinderances.</i>
