Neige is a character from an unpublished story, who was heavily abused as a child, leaving her ugly and disformed. When she was rescued from the stable she was forced to live in, an experimental treatment involving the albino gene restored her to her original beauty, although its side-effects left her skin and hair white as snow, her eyes ruby red.
Neige doesn't remember her suffering, or much else for that matter - her mind is almost completely incapable of retaining memories, and especially bad memories melt away like snowflakes in the sun. Because of this, she has a very childish, innocent demeanor, unable to understand concepts such as lies, lust, anger, deceit, and rejoices in every new day as she continually rediscovers all the beautiful things in life.
As her foster father is an elderly tailor, Neige has somehow managed to learn a bit of his trade, and enjoys sewing dresses a lot. But when asked, she gladly acts as a mannequin for him, content to stand still for hours while he works. When she's not wearing one of their creations, she prefers this simple white dress that's easy to take off.
Neige means "snow" in french by the way...
