After what felt like months, the scene changed, and Erica finally stumbled into the park. As indestructible as her tank top and jeans were, even their ends were frayed after being paved into the street. Car after car had squished her toony body across the asphalt for almost a mile. Now she was covered in bandages (which she still didn't know where they came from), after somehow pulling herself off the road and willing herself back into three dimensions. Her whole body felt like jelly, ready to collapse at any moment, to the point she feared any bit of pressure would make her literally fall apart.
Half of her was plotting, scheming for ways to reduce her wifey Lucy's body into such a state. Preferably in her own hands.
The other half made her blush, wondering what that same wifey would do with what remained of her own helpless form that evening.
She limped slowly across the rubbery cement of a playground. She found Lucy and their all grown up daughter Kealey near the swings. Wifey stood on a bench, hand shielding her eyes from the hot sun to spot her arrival. Daughter was weakly riding the swings, wearing a look of regret.
"Are you sure it was okay to leave her there mom? That last steamroller basically painted the road with her."
Lucy forced a smile. "That road should feel lucky. Getting such a beautiful woman stretched and smeared...Oh! Erica! Over here!"
They rushed over to Erica, meeting her near a bench in the sun.
"Oh hun, I'm almost sorry! You looked spectacular on the street though. I'm sure you learned a lot about the effects of steamrollers on the toon body."
Erica paused, mouth hanging open from exhaustion, unable to move further. "I already knew...I liked that though."
Kaely and Lucy both giggled at their loved one's admission.
Erica took a deep breath before continuing. "I thought...a scene break...fixed..."
Lucy sighed, then calmly put on her lab glasses. "Usually, yes. But after an especially intense beating, toon physics demands a comically large number of bandages to appear, only letting the body heal at a sufficiently funny moment, like needing to dodge after it's already too late, or a sudden burst of rage."
Erica could only groan in reply, hunching over further. Making her shirt hang low.
Making Lucy's eyes bug out with a brief Awooooooga! "Hang on a sec, lean on me and I'll help you to the-ULP!"
"Wait mom." Kaeley grabbed her healthy mom by the back of her shirt, pulling her back. "Mom's standing in a bike lane. Stand clear until she makes it across."
"What?! There's nothing here!" Erica raised her arms in frustration. "Just help me get to the seat so I can-"
*WHOOOOOOOOSH*
Just then, no less than 10 people sped past riding bicycles, skateboards, and roller blades. Erica was bumped by each, spinning into a peach and blue tornado where she stood. Lucy and Kaeley watched bandages fly into the wind, and when Erica stopped spinning, they broke down laughing.
Erica was twisted up in knots like a wet towel to be wrung out. Her flesh buled out in pudgey knots, spun and stretched up to twice her normal height. Her perky breasts bounced at the top under her red face. Her cheeks were puffed up, full of the air trying to escape her flimsy form.
She made a mental note to have Lucy do this to her again later.
"You know...this is almost...as good...as the steamroller."
Now Kaeley did walk over to her imperiled mother. "Okay, that was hilarious. I think I can get you to the bench now. Come on, hop this way."
She grabbed the parts of Erica where her hips should be, and took two steps before Erica's arms started spinning like a helicopter.
Lucy shook her head. "I thought we raised you smarter than that. What spins up must...fly up. I think."
While Kealey reflexively held tight, her mother's body gained altitude. Erica was powerless to stop it, buzzing up a hundred feet into the air.
"AYYEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
"STOP SPINNING MOM WE'RE GOING TO-"
Erica suddenly did stop. She floated in the air, motionless, and looked at Kealey. Her red head daughter stared back. Then they both gulped, and looked down at the ground far below.
Their bodies plummeted, leaving their heads hovering on stretched out necks long enough to scream. "GYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
Their heads snapped back to their falling forms, limbs waving in the wind as they fell.
Lucy calmly stepped aside and smiled, anticipating Erica's squish.
*SLAAAAAAAAAAM*
Both women smashed against the ground feet first like two balls of dough. Legs crumpled into hips, briefly growing already bulbous butts into beach balls that overflowed their waist lines. Their chests spread across those butts as they flattened into massive pancakes, folding flesh into itself while toon physics turned them into disks.
They groaned, staring up at the sky from their eyes, tucked above their saucered breasts. Blue and black clothes did little to contain Erica and Kaeley's figures. Each was reduced to an inch thick form by gravity, eyes spinning and flat tongues hanging out under spinning stars while they contemplated their recent choices.
Lucy took out her phone and pointed it at Erica. "Oh you just look ADORABLE!"
While Erica was too stupefied to respond, Kaeley was not nearly as worn out. She blinked a few times, making a hollow rattling sound while the stars vanished from above her. "MOM! Stop oggling her and help us up!"
"Oh, right! Her friends always love these though. But as long as I have her like this..."
Lucy grabbed her wifey disk off the ground, taking the opportunity to dig her fingers in to the flat witch's squishy butt. She walked towards the bench, then jammed Erica against her face, kissed, and blew. The squishy witch's body uncrumpled loudly, sounding like a plastic bottle fighting back into shape. Erica was barely snapping out of it enough to enjoy it when she *POP* got back into shape, stumbling back.
She landed on the metal bench with a soft pneumatic echo. She felt her boobs bouncing around more than they should have too. Erica had to hug her arms against the once again enlarged grapefruits hanging from her chest to stop them from jiggling, and rolled her eyes. "Did you have to blow me up this much again?"
Lucy winked at her while peeling their daughter off the pavement. "Oh don't pretend you don't like 'em. I know I do. We'll just call it another bad luck side effect of your restoration."
*SNAP*
*WOBBLE*
*POP*
With a flick of the wrists, Lucy had Kaeley stumbling to regain her balance. She looked at her dizzy family, and put her hand on her hips. "Okay, I can see we all need a break. Kaeley, keep an eye on your mother. I'm going to get us a snack to get some energy in this heat. I know I saw an ice cream cart on the way in. Don't go anywhere, I won't be long!"
She twisted back her arms to sprint, and was gone, leaving a dust cloud of her outline behind.
Erica wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Can she seriously move that fast after all that?"
Kaeley laughed, cautiously stepping further away from her mother's bad luck. "You know her. If there's food involved, there's no stopping her. You should rest until she gets back."
"I guess you're right." Erica leaned back, taking in the warmth of the bench in the sun. "I should just relax. I think I'm safe for a little while."
Kaeley snorted at that. "As if. It's true I don't see any more random crowds, but you couldn't even stand in one place without getting us both splattered on the sidewalk."
Erica shifted her head, trying to get her hair out from behind her back. It felt like it was stuck against the bench, digging into her. "I guess. But if we don't move, it's less likely another gag will happen in the same spot, right?"
Kaeley shrugged, looking around to see where Lucy went. "But remember what mom said. If it's funny, it has a higher chance of happening."
Erica leaned back further. "Maybe...and I know it all felt good...but I'm not under any trees here. And even took bikes should avoid benches. There's no steamrollers, no air tanks. Just me and this great bench attacking my back muscles like a heating pad, the sun over my head, and..."
*PLOP*
Kaeley's back stiffened at the sound. She turned to check on her mom, and gasped. The beautiful blue haired woman was dripping apart.
Erica was also vaguely aware of it by now, but she didn't care. As much as she preferred getting squished and pounded into a wad of dough by her lovely wifey, the bench melting through her felt divine. The heat of the sun on her surroundings alone should not have been enough to do this to her, but it was about time that milkshake did something nice. Most of her thighs had already collapsed into a bubbling puddle of goo on the ground. Her long blue hair was flowing down her shoulders, mixing together with her body. She tried to lift her arm and brush it aside, but they were already fused to her chubby belly, making her look more like a Erica blob undulating towards the sky.
Erica sighed, speaking in gurgles while she melted. "Aaaaah this feels niiice..."
Layers of her gooey self was spreading across the bench. Her head was painted on top of her chest. Her viscous boobs were growing, absorbing the rest of her torso before dripping between the planks. It only took a minute to sploosh into a puddle, but for Erica it felt like a much needed massage.
Kaeley stretched a leg towards the shade, zipping over to it in a deliberate step out of the sun. She took a moment to check that she was completely in the shade, then got back to laughing at her mother's misfortune. "Wow mom, I know you're a witch but we didn't even throw water on you."
"Blbbblblbblb!!!" Erica's goo bubbled violently at the joke. Her face swirled together from the colorful pile of paint. Her voice sounded like she was underwater. "Why is it always that movie?! I melt for lots of things, like that time your mom-"
Kaeley waved her arms. "Blech! I don't need to hear whatever you're about to say!"
The puddle blinked. "What, I was talking about her recipe for buffalo ranch i-"
*DROP*
The loud echo of water raining down cut them off. Neither of them would have thought a puddle could sweat until that moment.
Erica's eyes were darting around. "What was that?! Is it raining?! I don't want to get washed away!"
"No, worse than that." Kaeley pointed at the edge of Erica's mess. "Who installs a sewer drain right next to a bench?!"
"What?!" Erica's blue goo splashed out while her eyes bugged out in shock. "No no no! How do I move like this?! Who is THIS unlucky?!"
*DROP*
Erica struggled to escape, but she felt herself getting pulled down. All she succeeded at doing was making her body flow apart faster. Bits of her body were dripping down the drain faster and faster, tugging the blue and peach puddle of melted witch into the abyss.
Soon all that remained of Erica at ground level were the colors of her face and blue hair swirling around the grate. Her eyes stared at her daughter, pleading for help. "Help me! Throw a sponge at me or something! Oh, what a-"
The rest of Erica drained away. Her eyes floated a foot in the air, looked at her daughter, looked down, and shed a single tear before falling in.
*SPLASH*
Kaeley stood there dumbfounded. "Uh oh...she's not going to be happy about that. I hope mom gets back-"
*STOMP*STOMP*STOMP*
The ground shook beneath Kaeley so much she spread her arms to keep balanced. When she looked down the trail, she saw a super sized Lucy bounding towards her. She was at least 2 feet taller, her gut bouncing with every step, and holding a giant cooler and a half eaten strawberry ice cream cone. The other half of strawberry treat was staining her face.
Kaeley didn't need to think long to realize her mother's long trip resulted in eating more than one cone. More like one hundred gallons to achieve the huge jiggling mass that was Lucy's belly and boobs.
"Okay I'm back! Now, who's not happy about what?"
Kaeley looked down nervously, like she got caught doing something. "Your milkshake was too good. It maaaay have made the sun melt mom down that sewer grate."
Lucy looked confused while jamming the rest of her cone into her face. Her butt wobbled another few inches larger. "She's melting in this heat?! It's not even that hot today."
A drop of ice cream fell onto the pavement near her. It immediately sizzled away on the cement.
Lucy sighed, making her huge body heave. "Ooookay. Maybe there's residual effects of her bad luck here."
Kaeley smacked her forehead. "Never mind that! How are we going to get mom back?! I don't want to fish her out of the sewage plant again!"
"Relax." Lucy put down her cooler, then put a calming hand on her daughter's shoulder. She put on her research glasses back on with the other. "Remember the Toon Town water system sends liquids to where it's funniest, without doing too much damage to anyone accidentally sucked in."
She pointed a chubby arm at a nearby water fountain in a short stone pillar that Kaeley could swear wasn't there a moment ago. "If I know anything about toon physics, and the lab coat packaging says I do, then all we need to do is..."
Lucy hustled her chubby body over, and Kaeley followed. She turned on the fountain, and what came out definitely wasn't water. It was spraying a strange blue liquid everywhere at first, making Kaeley jump back, but Lucy didn't flinch. She pushed the fountain harder, and a large bulge came up through the supposedly stone structure. When it reached the top, a massive splash of Erica colored liquid came out, as if she was thrown out of a bucket. The goo splashed against the ground, and her body instinctively pulled together. The spray became an orb of witch colors, then kept growing.
*SPLASH*
A very stunned, very surprised Erica stood before them, back in her normal shape. She looked none the worse for wear, except for a long piece of seaweed hanging from her hair.
"Uuuugh...what happened?! Do you know there really are alligator down there?"
Kaeley ran over and squeezed her tight, briefly squishing Erica's mass to her body's extremities and making her eyes expand out of their sockets. "Mom! You're back!"
As soon as she was done, Lucy hugged Erica harder, pressing her wifey tight between her newly massive boobs and not-so-accidentally cracking her back. Erica's feet were kicking in the air behind her. As much as she would normally love this sort of playtime, her body still felt weak.
Eventually Lucy put Erica down. "Like I told Kaeley, the water system knows where to send our melted denizens. And the alligators are actually employed by the city in case someone tries to mess with the natural order of things."
Erica, face still blue from Lucy's suffocating hug, looked up in shock. "What?! *COOOOUGH*... Our tax dollars employ alligators?!"
Kaeley nodded slowly. "Oh yeeeeeah. We learned about that in civics classes back in high school. That's why you never go into the sewers on purpose unless you like turning into chewing gum."
Erica was about to question that, then just shook her head. There were some parts about being a toon she didn't want to know.
Lucy gave her a hard slap on the back, somehow not knocking her over. "Don't think too much about it. Here, I did promise you ice cream, right hun?"
Erica poked her exposed belly with her finger. She loved the way Lucy jiggled. "You mean you didn't eat them out of business?"
Lucy burped, but still opened the cooler. "Nah, I warned them I was coming today. We got some extra sweet treats to help you recover. There's a special order cone for Kaeley too, my own special recipe!"
It looked like dry ice was evaporating out of the cooler. Lucy reached in and produced two pristine two scoop cones, and gave one to Erica.
The witch eyed hers cautiously. "Is this going to make me as fat as you?"
Lucy nodded. "Would I give you anything less?"
Erica smiled. "Good. You can't hog all the fun today."
Kaeley licked her lips. "As long as whatever your thing for me does the same, I'm in!"
The happy family laughed, and Erica and Lucy each bit into their treats.
*CRRRRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKK*
Which were apparently so cold through Erica's bad luck, that they each froze solid where they stood. Both women, huge and still skinny, turned so ice blue that if you didn't know they were human, you would have sworn they were ice sculptures. (Unless you were a Toon Town native at least.)
For her part, Kaeley didn't look worried. "Oh come on moms! Getting brain freeze? That was too easy to see coming."
She walked to the cooler to look inside. "Well, I can see the extra cone at least. This white one? What's so special about vanilla?"
The young woman continued studying the cone in the cooler under the nervous gaze of her mothers. Lucy and Erica's ice blue eyes tracked her above their grimacing faces, wondering how to get out of their predicament. That changed to curiosity a moment later, when a feathered visitor decided to perch on Erica's shoulder.
Which made Kaeley very unhappy. "Stupid bird, get out of here. I don't need my mom's bad luck making me cleaning your presents off her. Go! Get out of here!"
She waved her arms at the bird, shooing it away, but she also brushed against Erica. The frozen woman rocked back and forth, then fell against her larger partner.
*CLINK*
Kaeley had the color drain from her face. "Ooops! Well...at least we're a sturdy family that supports each other, right?"
*CRRRRRRRRK*
Cracks spidered through Erica and Lucy, originating from where Erica's face hit Lucy's belly. They looked at each other nervously, knowing full well what was coming.
Kaeley face palmed again. "Well, at least it's funny?"
*CRRRRK*
The number of cracks running through them doubled. Both moms flashed angry glares at Kaeley through their frozen faces, before it finally happened.
*CRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSH*
"AYEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
Both women shattered spectacularly, exploding into hundreds of shards of ice. Kaeley shielded herself from the growing pile of ice cubes, trying and failing not to laugh at their misfortune. The last four cubes to fall on the pile held their eyes, looking up angrily at their daughter.
"Hah! Okay, that WAS funny." Kaeley walked back to the cooler, no longer spewing frost into the air. "Don't look too mad, I just have to wait for the sun to melt you down the drain and use the water fountain again, right?"
Erica wasn't happy about that. Lucy was even madder, unable to don her lab coat in her current state to explain that you can't do the same gag twice in a row.
Kaeley shrugged and pulled out the last ice cream cone. "I guess I should enjoy a snack while I wait. It does smell kinda funny. I wonder what it is."
The young woman opened her mouth impossibly wide like only a toon could, and chomped down on it.
"It's...it's..."
Kaeley's face twisted more and more while she thought. She was clearly distressed by it, grabbing her stomach like she was about to puke. Her face turned green, her knees buckled, and drops of her body started melting off her in disgust.
"Buffalo Ranch Ice Cream?! That's...too...gross...Blaaaaaarrrgh-"
*SPLOOOOSH*
All at once, Kaeley's body liquefied in disgust. Her eyes floated in place, but once the rest of her poured down to a puddle of goo, they splashed gently on top. The layers of Kealey paint slowly oozed towards the drain, leaving her eyes to look towards her parents.
The good news was Erica and Lucy were less frozen thanks to the sun. The bad news was that left them as colorful puddles, flowing towards the drain just as fast as their daughter. They swirled together around the drain, looking at each other with mixed emotions.
Erica's gurgly voice bubbled forth. "So...this is the scene change right?"
Lucy's eyes approximated a nod. "It had better be."
*SPLASH!*
