Scarlett waved Amber over. "Come here Amber, you've gotta try this?"

Amber raised an eyebrow back at her. "Okay babe, what was so cool you made me drive all the way out here in the middle of the day?"

"Come on, this just came in! We've gotta check this out!"

Scarlett led Amber into the test chamber she was so excited about. It was a small room, nothing out of the ordinary about it except the high temperature and steel plated flooring.

She pointed Amber to a panel on the wall. "Okay, the off switch is there. Now, watch!"

Scarlett ran onto the floor and tried to stop hard, as if making a cool sliding entrance to a room wearing only her socks. The heated floor melted right through her shoes, letting Scarlett slide around on their liquid remains. She kept "skating" around after that, her legs rapidly melting into a huge puddle of her skin and khaki shorts.

Her grin practically lit the room by itself. "Check this out! I'm skating on myself!"

Amber couldn't help but smile. "That's cute! You won't last long in there though. What's your plan?"

"I don't know, put something on the other side of me and have Zoe and Jess run in? Only they slip and slide on the tiles and go eeeeeeverywhere."

Scarlett's face turned bright red just thinking about it. She tried to jump and spin for joy, but she was no pro skater.

*SPLOOOSH*

Now a puddle up to her hips, Scarlett shrugged. "I don't know, maybe we think of a way to use this against our opponents one day in a race?"

"I don't know babe, you'd probably get gooped on purpose."

Scarlett crossed her sagging arms to complain. "HEEEEEEEEY! I wouldn't-WHOA!"

Her body was melted enough that she couldn't uncross her arms anymore. Scarlett's entire top half had congealed into a blobby mess of herself as she pooled on the heated tiles below. Her movement tugged huge tendrils from her front half, throwing her off balance.

*SPLOOOOOSH*

Amber laughed at the big puddle in front of her.

"Hah! I think you're right. I think if we put something for Jess to chase behind you. She's impulsive enough she might rush in without noticing the big puddle of you. But for now..."

Amber clicked the off switch, knowing it would still be hot for a few minutes. She jumped into the puddle, cannonballing splashing Scarlett all over the room and herself.

Scarlett bubbled in joy. "Oh you didn't!"

Amber, already feeling her butt melt away into a big pink mess through her shorts, lay on her back and rolled around. Layers of her melting body formed a trail of melting colors through her love.

"Oh just enjoy me melting in you silly-blublblblblb."

The giant puddle of blue, pink and yellow simmered away until the floor cooled. Neither was hasty to reform a solid body.
