It was a miserable, rainy day outside. Amber and Zoe were out of the house, handling paperwork or training or something during the team's day off.

It was the perfect opportunity for Scarlett to remind Jess that she promised to try Scarlett's "Crazy Gaming Idea." Once they finished lunch, she shoved Jess into the living room. Jess didn't resist much, but she was only cautiously going along with the idea.

"Come on Jess! This will be fun!"

"Scarlett, I know you and Amber somehow made the computer thing work once, but are you sure? Even for us this feels weird."

Scarlett nodded. "Yeah! I've done this a few times since then. I'm not the best at the game, but it's still a ton of fun."

Jess stared at the disk slot on the console. "Okay, but how are we supposed to do this?"

Scarlett licked her lips and charged Jess from behind. She channeled all of her excitement into one big shove.

"WHOAAA!!!"
*SQUIIIIIIIIIIISH*

Jessica's body compressed and squished into the disk slot. She didn't mind the pressure on her shoulders and chest, but this was more than a little tight. The concept at least was making sense. Were they really the first group to try something like this?

Either way, Jess needed Scarlett to either shove her in or pull he rout. "MMMPH! Hey! I'm half stuck here! Little help?"

Scarlett felt around Jessica's squished waist, making sure nothing was stopping her from getting shoved in. "You have to loosen up and let your body accept the change Jess! Here, one more time."

Scarlett took a few steps back and charged again, slamming her shoulder into Jessica's butt to squish it the rest of the way. Her jeans squished to the side, but were quickly sucked in by the hungry disk slot slurping her up. Since they were doing co-op, Scarlett didn't try to stop. Once she felt her shoulder squish into the slot, she relaxed her body and let it get pulled in.

She flew inside with a swirl of blue and red.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

*SQUIIISH*
*WHRRRR*
*CHRRRRRNCH*

* * *

Jess landed on the ground in a heap. Surprised she was in a normal three dimensional state, she picked herself up and looked around.

She found herself in the middle of a city street at night. The ground was cracked and broken, clearly not paved in a long time. The neon lights of shops lit the way ahead, but this wasn't any place Jessica recognized.

She instinctively tried to dust off her clothes, and realized she wasn't in her usual outfit. Instead of a green shirt and blue shorts, she was wearing a blue blazer along with a revealing green tube top, mini skirt, and knee high boots. She felt something on her shoulder, and saw her purple hair was longer that a moment ago too.

She was still thinking through what happened, when she heard Scarlett's voice getting louder from above.

"WHOOOOOOOOOA!"
*SPLAT*

A red head wearing a lighter ice blue blazer fell from the sky and flattened on the pavement next to her. It had to be Scarlett. Rather than peel her up immediately, Jess took a moment to compare their outfits. She was vaguely familiar with the concept of a recolor in Scarlett's video games. Scarlett looked the same as she did, except her underlying outfit and boots were bright red like her hair.

Still curious how this would work, Jessica approached Scarlett and peeled her head off the pavement.

"Uuuuh." Scarlett's eyes were still swirls on her face. "Press...start...to...play..."

"Pffft, can we take you anywhere Scarlett?" Jess smiled, amused by her friend's usual antics. "Hang on, I'll shake you out."

Scarlett shook her flat wobbly head. "Hang on, this character's pretty tough." Scarlett focused for a moment, and popped herself back into three dimensions. It was faster than Jess had ever seen her restore herself.

"Wow! That was fast for you! And...wait, you said that character?" Jess took a closer look at Scarlett. She was taller, and a little more fit.

"Yup! We get to be them. It's kinda weird, since the game makes them recover fast...you'll see. It's more about the other moves? Let's go squish some goons!"

Jessica raised an eyebrow. This was going to be interesting.

* * *

"HYAAAAAA!!!"

Jess unleashed another bolt of energy at the goon in front of them, sending him flying back into a wall and reducing him to wet paint dripping off the bricks.

She brushed her hair aside after finishing her opponent. "You were right Scarlett, this IS fun!"

Scarlett raised a celebratory fist into the air. "Nice! Now let's take out the last one! She's just up ahead!"

Jess pounded her fists together. "Alright, let's do this!"

They walked through an abandoned train car into a back alley. A woman with a purple and yellow mohawk stood there, glaring at them. She wore an open shirt and tight jeans, but the most striking thing she wore...

"Scarlett, does she have a snake?"

"Just wait, her intro's awesome!"

The boss woman and her snake pounded the ground, electrifying the everything around her.

Jess's eyes went wide for a moment. "Whoa. That looks scary. Hey, you showed me that rocket kick thing right?"

"Your air special? Yeah, that works. But I'd be careful, don't fly into the wall if she dodges."

"Don't worry, I've got this."

Jess went for the jump kick, blue aura surrounding and trailing her as she zipped through the air.

Their opponent side stepped her kick, leaving her on a collision course with the wall.

"I've made a mistaaaaaaaaaaa--OOOOF!"
*SPLAT*

Jess tried to turn to the side, but ended up just like her friend from earlier, splattered on the wall. It looked like she was spray painted on the wall, caught in an action pose kicking left to right, complete with a blurred trailing smear of color.

Scarlett cautiously approached. "Get off the wall Jess, I need you down here!"

Jess thought about what Scarlett said earlier. As much as she should have felt a bigger sting from getting crushed like this, she only felt a little drained. She only thought about springing back, and...

*SHLLLRRRRP*

Jessica's paint body oozed out of the wall and reconstituted herself.

"Wow, you're right, this character is good at restoration! Thanks for...wait, don't tell me you're..."

Scarlett looked at Jess with the goofy smile on her face suggesting she loved the transformation she just saw. "Mmmmm...That's why I love playing this with a friend. This character can bounce back from almost anything. Just watch!"

Jess watched their opponent walk right up to Scarlett, and pound the floor again. Throughout her wind up, Scarlett had that same smile on her face.

*BZZZZZZZTZZZZZTZZZTZZZ*

Scarlett's body lit up, her skeleton visibly flashing through her skin. When the shock dissipated, Scarlett hung in the air, hair frazzled and skin scorched, STILL smiling.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah..."

Her body collapsed, poofing into a large pile of Scarlett dust as it hit the ground, leaving her ice blue eyes on top.

Jess panicked. "Whoa, now I need to deal with that?! Uuuuh..."

Jess waited for their computer opponent to walk towards her, then unleashed a fury of punches. That sent her flying to the ground, slightly dented from Jessica's work.

Realizing she had precious little time, Jess looked around for something to restore Scarlett with. A glass of water, anything wet. Disintegration was usually no joke, and...

And...

A puff of smoke came out of Scarlett's dust, followed by Scarlett's head popping out of it. Her pile of ashes essentially disappeared into her as she instantly reconstituted.

"Scarlett?!"

"See, I told you she was good at restoring herself. Just gotta keep energy up. Now let's get her!"

Their opponent had a lot of stamina. Every time it looked like they had her flattened on the ground, she popped back into shape.

But it was still slower every time.

"Alright Jess, I think we have her." Scarlett managed to slip past another attack and grab the boss from behind. "You want to try that jump kick again? Alleeeeeeeeeey..."

The blue aura was already surrounding Jess. "Oh hell yes!"

Scarlett threw their opponent into the air towards the same wall Jessica painted herself on earlier. This time, Jessica had a nice slow moving target to fly into.

"OOP!"
*WHAM*
*SPLAAAT*

This time their new friend was pancaked onto the wall with an imprint of Jessica's boot on her face. Her body splooshed out about six feet, with her hips around the outside slightly overflowing her tight jeans. Her face was slightly smeared from impact, eyes now spinning and showing no sign of being able to get up.

Scarlett gave Jessica a high five. "Nice!"

"I'm just glad I got to land that kick in the end." She walked up to the painted pancake and tapped it with her finger. "How do you like being stuck on the wall?"

Scarlett, suddenly worried, took a step back. "Uuuh, Jess?"

"Yeah?"

Blue lines of electricity started dancing across the pancake on the wall.

"She can still do that."

*BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ*

Electricity coursed through Jessica, making her dance around in the air the same as Scarlett did earlier. She too was left scorched, hanging in the air.

"Scarlett...Mention that sooner next time..."

Jessica felt the familiar drafty sensation of her body disintegrating, her body getting lighter as it fell to dust on the ground, leaving her eyes softly landing on top.

Scarlett ran a hand through her long hair. "Heh...I think we get to move on anyway."

* * *

Jess and Scarlett continued through the game, flattening and gooping all that opposed them. They get beat up a little themselves, especially whenever Scarlett wanted one of them to experience a flashy transformation, but they made it through a few stages without incident.

Back in the living room, Zoe returned home to discover Amber on the couch eating popcorn, watching the TV. A video game was playing itself.

She walked in and sat pointed at the screen. "I thought this was more Scarlett's thing?"

Amber patted the couch, getting Zoe to walk over. "Scarlett does this now and again. Once we got sucked through the computer she started working on getting herself into the game. Now she's getting her transformation kicks in there."

"What now?"

"Just watch."

Zoe looked at the screen. Scarlett and Jess were confronting a large man with a white shirt and bright red pants. They moved in and did their best to pummel him, but he balled himself and ran right over Scarlett. From what Zoe could see, Scarlett didn't even try to dodge, and let herself get stretched and smeared on the ground.

Jess gave chase rather than helping peel up Scarlett, and her opponent started breathing fire. Jess was incinerated on the spot, falling backwards and breaking apart into a pile of ash as she fell.

"Well at least Jess tried to dodge. How do they expect to finish the game like that?"

Amber pointed again. "Keep watching. These games are meant for characters to recover fast."

Sure enough, while the big guy laughed, Scarlett and Jess pulled themselves together in record time.

Zoe nodded slowly and grinned, seeing the potential. "You know, if the game makes it so Scarlett and Jess can recover in the same amount of time, I understand why Scarlett would like it. So they just..." Zoe gestured loosely at the console.

"Oh, so you're interested now?"

Zoe game her cutest smile. "Just a little curious."

Amber laughed. "The last time I tried that I ended up as one of the goons. But you know..."

Amber saw Scarlett and Jess approaching the bridge of the industrial ship stage. She stood up, and the excitement on Zoe's face grew.

"If I time this right, you'll get someone very interesting. Just remember you're supposed to stop them."

Zoe put up no resistance as Amber grabbed her, and shoved her against the console. Zoe splattered sloppily against it, but was easily sucked in.

* * *

Scarlett froze when she walked in the door to the captain's room. She stopped so suddenly, Jess bumped into her from behind.

"What's up Scarlett?"

Scarlett pointed past the pair of goons to the dominatrix with a captain's hat, a long black braid, and a riding crop. "She's supposed to have short hair."

"My oh my, aren't you quite the catch." Zoe firmly slapped the crop against her hand. "You have been naughty, haven't you Scarlett?"

Scarlett was more than a little stunned seeing Zoe like that. "H-How? Aren't you out? And you got her?"

Zoe threw her head back and cackled. "Hah! Amber knows a few tricks. Now, I guess these are my henchmen or something? You two! Go loosen them up for me!"

Zoe struck one of her goons with her riding crop, electrifying him and reducing him to a pile of dust. "Hmmm, guess I didn't know my own strength. You! Take care of the red head. The other one's mine." Her remaining henchman approached Scarlett, holding a knife.

Jess looked to Scarlett. She was holding together, but she was shaking like some kind of energy was building up inside her to some lusty explosion. They needed to finish off Zoe fast if she wanted a solid Scarlett. She looked around the room, filled with toys and traps. She saw the bed of spikes on the wall, and had an idea.

But first, she needed to use Zoe's unfamiliarity to her advantage. "Damnit Zoe, tell Amber to deal with us herself if that's how she wants to do this." Jessica jumped in to attack. Zoe flailed wildly with the crop, missing entirely, and Jess punched her head down into the rest of her.

Zoe squeezed her chest to pop her head back out. "Mmmm you need to try harder than-WHOA!"

Jessica wasn't letting up the attack, unleashing a blast of energy into Zoe and sending her flying against the back of the captain's chair, flattening her against it.

"Mmmmm, keep it up dear." Zoe's body oozed and pulled off the chair into three dimensions off the chair, like honey out of a jar.

Scarlett was staring at this exchange. She knew this boss's room, but did not expect Zoe to be here. She was so focused on not melting down herself, she didn't see the good walking up to her with a knife.

*SHWIP*

"Oh no..."

Scarlett watched her arms fall to the ground. She tried to kick her attacker,

*SPLOOSH*

But her leg splattered uselessly against him.

Scarlett was suddenly left with one leg to stand on. "Heh heh...whoops?"

*SHWIPSHWIPSHWIP*

Her attacker slashed relentlessly as Scarlett tumbled over. She hit the ground and broke into a pile of melty cubes.

Jess frowned. She really was going to have to end this quick.

She slid up to Zoe, giving her a quick jab. She used the opening to grab her and jump to the other side.

"Now now Zoe, it was horribly rude of you to interrupt. Tell Amber we said hello."

Then she locked lips with Zoe.

"Hmmm? Mmmmm...."

And started to blow.

*SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*

Zoe was not opposed to a little inflation happening, even if she was here to cause trouble. She waved her crop at Jess one more time, but only heard her newly inflated arm bounce Jessica's head.

"Mmmmmm, now I KNOW you need to be punished dear."

"Maybe so." Jess released her lips from Zoe, and took aim. "Bye bye."

Zoe's composure vanished. "Wait what?"

Jess let go of Zoe, sending Zoe flying across the room as air rushed out. Zoe's inflated butt went flying backwards, right into the spike wall.

Zoe felt the sharp edges against the thin skin of her inflated rear end, and knew it wouldn't stay in one piece.

"EEEP!"
*BANG!*

Zoe's scraps flew around the room for a moment before disappearing. Jess turned back to the Scarlett pile, and got a little worried that Scarlett wasn't getting up yet.

* * *

Amber ate some more popcorn. She hadn't gotten to see this happen to someone else yet.

*FWOOOOMP*FWOOOOMP*FWOOOOMP*FWOOOOMP*

Hundreds of tan and black colored scraps came flying out of the console. Amber grinned at the growing pile of Zoe in the middle of the room.

"Ooooh..." the pile groaned. "That happened."

Amber dug into the pile and found the scrap with Zoe's eyes. She took them back to the couch and put them on a cushion facing the screen. "Here, until you pull together, you can still watch the fun."

Zoe's eyes blinked, her voice still coming from the main pile of scraps. "What about you?"

Amber flashed a malicious smile. "Oh, I'm waiting for the opportune moment."

* * *

Scarlett and Jessica were advancing through a sewer stage. Jessica was still asking her about the Zoe encounter.

"I told you, it's fine! We're the heroes, we get a few free restorations before we get spat out of game like Zoe."

"Okay, but seeing you melt into the ground then just flow out of the ceiling is still weird."

"Oh, live a little. It feels nice. Here." Scarlett pointed to one of the green puddles on the ground.

Jess cautiously approached it. "What is that stuff? It doesn't look-HEY!"

Scarlett walked up behind her, shoving Jess into the muck. "I dunno, some sort of radioactive sludge I guess?"

Jess kept her balance, but looked down at her feet. Her boots were already half melted, and her knees were starting to sizzle. She was sinking and spreading fast, waves of her skin rolling and bubbling across the surface.

As much as there was nothing like a good melt, this was weird. "Scarlett, I thought you wanted to get to the end not show off how well you can mEEEEEEELT!"

Scarlett grinned when Jessica's hips hit the ooze. Jessica was sliding around on a gooey puddle of herself, throwing caution to the wind and touching herself. Her waist spread across the top of herself while she squeezed what body she had left.

"Oooookay you win this one Scarlett. This does feel pretty gooooooo-blblblb"

Jessica's arms slid off her shoulders and puddled up around her chest as she bubbled away. She leaned her head back and closed her eyes, completely liquefying, and sliding towards a ledge.

Scarlett pretended to look at a watch she didn't have. "Three, two, one..."

A torrent of Jessica colored slime poured out of the ceiling, splashing into a blob. Once she finished raining down, her body twisted up into a pillar as pieces of her realigned. With a soft splash, Jessica was restored.

"Whoa...that felt better than I thought."

"Right! Come on Jess, let's keep going! It will probably happen again on its own in here, the game Is about to really pick up."

* * *

Amber's attention was split between Scarlett and Jessica intentionally taking hits, and Zoe's scraps gradually melding together. The slight glint of a liquid form whenever two pieces gelled together was worth watching.

But Scarlett and Jess were on the train level. It was show time.

She stood up. "Alright Zoe, are you good to watch this? It's show time for me."

"Oh?" Zoe's pieces suddenly fused into a writhing bulging mass that fought its way into her normal shape. She walked over to the couch to grab her eyes and the last scrap of herself. "I need to learn from the master then."

Amber blinked. "Wow, that was fast."

Zoe spun the reattached scrap holding her eyes around her face, spinning it her eyes around her nose. "How many times have I told you to learn to restore yourselves better for fun?"

Amber rolled her eyes. "Show off."

Scarlett and Jess jumped over passing train track hazards, and Amber knew she had to hurry. "Just give them some room. Sometimes it gets messy when Scarlett gets spat out."

With that, Amber dove in, arms extended over her head as if going for a swim.

The console hungrily compressed and squished her as she was seamlessly sucked in.

Zoe took over eating the popcorn.

* * *

"Hold up Jess, This fight is usually tough."

Jess charged ahead anyway. "Whatever, how hard could this be?"

Her answer came as a muscled up Amber, wearing a police uniform, stomped down to the train on top of her head.

*SQUIIIIIIIIISH*

Jessica's body scrunched up, waves of her spreading out on the ground while being reduced to a big floppy pancake on the train's roof.

Amber winked at Scarlett, and talked into a radio on her shoulder. "I'm going to need backup!"

Scarlett backed away slowly. "Uh oh...Amber, I really wanted to get to the end with Jess this time!"

"Oh, you'll have a chance, but I want to have some fun too."

Amber picked up the wiggling Jessica disk, watching her furiously try to restore herself. She tossed her new frisbee off the side of the train, "Happy landings!"

Jess popped back into her normal self just off the side of the train. Both ladies watched her head float above her falling body, neck stretching impossibly long, before she waved goodbye and snapped back together mid plummet.

*SPLOOOOOOOSH*

Scarlett and Amber watched Jessica's body splatter on the pavement below, a mess of her colors splashed all around.

Amber tapped her foot while Scarlett bit a finger, fretting about her upcoming loss. Soon enough, an inky mess of Jessica swirled together on the train, restoring her. She stumbled, still unsteady on her feet after the fall.

Amber cracked her knuckles. "Alright ladies. Ride's over."

She dashed towards Scarlett, raising her fist over her head. Scarlett tried to block, but Amber was just too strong.

*SQUOOOOOOOOOOSH*

Scarlett's body collapsed under the force of Amber's punch. Her head disappeared into her chest, puffing it up. Her legs crunched to the ground under her in two pancakes, spreading out, leaving the rest of her to collapse into a giant circular pancake.

"Scarlett!" Jess jumped in and pushed Amber away with a quick combo. "Here, let me help you up."

Jessica picked up Scarlett's disk and shook her out. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I think so. Hey, where's Amber?"

They looked across the train roof to Amber. She was chatting to someone on her radio. "Yes, now please."

Jess scratched her head. "What is she?"

Scarlett grabbed her arm and tried to run forward. "Quick! Get out of the way!"

Jess stood still, not ready to re-engage Amber just yet. "What are you-?"

*BOOM*

A small rocket landed on the train next to Jess, engulfing her in a fiery explosion. When the flames died, Jess was looking much crispier, her whole outfit now colored charcoal black.

"...oh...this again." She blinked twice, before her body disintegrated into a fine brown dust in the wind.

Scarlett pouted. "Uh oh..."

"Watch your surroundings babe!"

Scarlett turned to Amber's voice. "What the heck are you...meep!"

A low hanging sign was fast approaching.

*WHAM*

Amber grinned. She was on the wrong side to see the details, but she did see a giant messy burst of red goop on the other side of the sign, splashing over the top, then slowly dripping off the sign down to the streets below.

"Mmmmm Scarlett, you're giving me ideas for tonight."

She waited while her friends materialized on the train once again, Scarlett forming from a swirl of goo and Jessica a tornado of dust. Both stumbled, dizzy from recovering.

"Jessica, we have to do something. We can't let her knock us out again."

"Any ideas?"

Scarlett saw Amber reaching for something on her belt. This might be her best opening.

"Just one. HYAAAAA!"

Scarlett jumped and flew towards Amber with a streak of energy behind her. The hit stunned her, making her drop whatever she was holding. Scarlett got her in a bear hug, and using her character's strength, lifted Amber over her head for a suplex head first into the roof.

*SQUIIIIIIIIISH*

Amber's body pancaked out 3 inches thick from her head down to her waist, leaving a dirty blond ring around her squished chest.

Scarlett took a fighting stance, bouncing back and forth between both feet. "Come on babe, get up for some more! I owe you a few from last week. That's the last time I let you...Jess, what's wrong?"

Jessica ran past Scarlett, towards a green almost spherical object where Amber was originally standing behind Scarlett. Then she looked at Amber's twitching hand.

She was holding the grenade's pin.

Jessica tried to throw the grenade, but it exploded in the middle of all three of them.

*BOOOOOOM*

* * *

Zoe was hungrily eating the popcorn, watching her friends transform each other in all sorts of fun ways. Maybe Scarlett was on to something with these games after all. It looked like their fun was over though, since all 3 just got splattered by the grenade, and the screen went dark.

On cue, the console rumbled and shook.

*SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH*

First a stream of Amber's ping and yellow goo were spat out into a puddle on the floor.

*SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH*

Followed be Jessica's brown and green.

*SPLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH*

Going immediately into Scarlett's red and blue.

Amber, probably from taking the least overall damage in the game, started pulling herself together first. She got to see Zoe staring at the collection of multicolor puddles in front of her.

"Wow ladies, that was more fun than I thought!" Zoe hopped off the couch and circled towards the Jessica goop.

Amber formed her arms out of the puddle and stretched them over head. "Yup! Scarlett still can't stop me."

Zoe laughed. "That's almost rude! But no matter." Zoe scooped up Jessica's puddle, and circled a finger in the semi solid blob. "We're going to have some fun tonight now."

They left, as Amber pulled herself out, and looked at Scarlett. She was still a face floating on a puddle. "I exploded."

Amber smiled and nodded. "Yes you did."

Scarlett blushed. "It was fun."

Amber's soft smile became a toothy grin. "Yes, it was."

"So...now what?"

Amber scooped up Scarlett. "Zoe's been giving me cooking lessons."

"SQUEEEEEEEEE!"

Scarlett almost flowed back to the floor from her excitement. Amber needed extra effort to keep Scarlett's together and get her into the kitchen. A fun night was ahead.
