As announced on my last journal, from today on until sunday, everyday you guys and girls get to see one of the teams appearing as part of the Beach Soccer Project.
And what better way to introduce a soccer team and it's captain, by showing off their jerseys and shorts^^
The captains have a jersey number just for the show, as they have no effect on the actual matches.
Is a nice addition though I think^^

After the first teaser pic (see link above) that was posted some time back, it was sure that Hatsune Miku would appear in the Project, thus here is Team 1:

Digital Soccer Divas
This is a Vocaloid themed team consisting of 11 (surprise, surprise) Vocaloid characters.
Each Team consists of between 11 and 15 characters, yet it's all well balanced as Beach Soccer games are usually played 5 on 5.

Here's the full roster:

Explanation for the Jersey Number:
39 is probably the one number that is the most well known in combination with Miku and there are different reasons for it.
The actual reason why she is connected to it are actually the numbers 3 and 9 themselves.
While they are most commonly known as 'san' and 'kyuu' forming the word 'san-kyuu' which is a common japanese phrase for 'thank you' due to the similar sound, those two digits can have a different reading, being 'mi' and 'ku', thus the number 39 actually can be read as 'Miku'.


Before someone complains: I am well aware that Teto is actually an UTAU, yet she appeared in Vocaloid games and thus can be considered a Vocaloid too.
