Ooof. Been working on this one for a few months. As noted at the start, this commission is a sequel to a commission I did last year, Kiana Faces the Dollmaker, picking up several weeks after that left off. This time the Dollmaker doesn't get away with her crimes and justice is served.  

Though I'm sure Kiana will be getting up to all kinds of other adventures in the future. She's a true snoop.

I might end up cutting this in half and spreading it across two posts. It's a looong one. But for now, all 8,000 words of it will stay right here.

In the past I’ve been occasionally approached about doing specific story or scenario ideas, so I figure one or two people a year might be interested in commissioning a story from me. From now on, I’m making it official. If you like my work and there is some specific fetish, fantasy, or story you might want to see me write, you can commission it! Commission prices are based on word count. I consider a standard-length story to be about 3,000 words, or 7-8 double space pages on a Microsoft Word or Google document. Prices are set according to that base. Commission Rules- Minimum price is $50, for up to 1,000 words. - $55 for 2,000 words. - $60 for 3,000. (At my average writing speed this roughly amounts to $6-7 per hour of work, or just under US minimum wage.)- $5 for every additional 500 words beyond 3,000. - A non-refundable $25 deposit is required before I begin writing. This is part of the total price. - The rest of the payment is required upon completion; before the commissioner sees the finished story. - Commissioner gets at least one free round of revisions. I will not rewrite the entire story but will make requested changes as long as they are within reason. - I will only work on one commission at a time, but up to 4 additional slots are available. Anyone in those slots is in line, and we can work out the details of their commission at this time. - Commissioned stories can feature my recurring characters. - I reserve the right to refuse to write details I am not comfortable with. I will inform you if your requests are hard limits for me. - I will not write stories involving real people. - I will not write commissioned stories involving pre-existing characters I do not own. In other words, I will not accept commissions for fanfiction. - Word Limits are not absolute. A 3,000 word commission might go up to 3,250 at no extra cost. Anything higher than that would be rounded up to $65, but I will edit the story to a lower word count so this does not happen unexpectedly. Some examples of stories I’ve written on other people’s ideas and requests include: - Catch and Release (3,051 words, would cost $60)- Portrait of a Mistress (2,379 words, would cost $55) A longer story such as The Kraken Club: Opportunities, which is 9,171 words, would cost $120.
