Ellie watched as the Magician tied up the hands of his Assistant behind her Back, before wrapping the Rope around her Waist and Making his way up to her Shoulders. Following it up with a few Knots, above and below her Chest. Ellie could see how tight the Rope was pressing against the Girls Skin, enough though she sat in the third Row, yet the Assistant only gave a relaxed Smile, as the Rope went down between her legs. Returning after a few Knots back to her Hands, removing the last angle she had to move them.
Once it was certain that the Girl wasnt going anywhere, did the Magician ask for a few Audience members to come up Stage to check the Knots. Ellies heart skipped a beat as she got choosen as well. She ran her fingers all across the Ropes, getting the tied up Girl to giggle. The Assistant assured her, that she was fine and the Ropes just looked worse.
Ellie wasnt really buying it, still the Knotes occupied her Mind long enough that she didnt notice the rest of the Audience members returning to their Seats. So the Magician sneaked up on the Girl and asked if she was up to play a Game. Out of Reflex did she agree, not knowing what the Magician was playing.
However before long did she sat on a Chair, watching the Magician use a few Hooks to lift his Assistant and tie her to the centre of a slightly oversized Doorframe, making it nearly look like the tied up Girl was floating, if the Ropes holding her up, werent so visible, Ellie thought. "Now, my dear Volunteer." the Magician said as he appeared behind Ellie, placing his hands on her Shoulders.
"You saw how i tied my lovely Assistant up and where i tied her too. In a few Seconds will a 2 minute timer start, giving her opportunity to escape her Situation. Should she still be up there after those 2 minutes, will these Flamethrowers turn her to Ash. So, do you think, you she can escape and figure it out?" he asked.
Ellie wasnt sure, but she decided to act confident and said she could. "Great, if you win, i am sure she wouldnt mind inviting to Diner, should you however fail, you will have to take a closer look at it." Ellie agreed, only realizing that she had no idea what he meant with closer look, as the timer was already at the halfway point.
Meanwhile the Magician guide covers that hang from the ceiling to make it impossible to see the Assistant from the Audiences View, all they could see where her Shadow, being cast by the Stagelight behind her. The Assistant gave Ellie an encouraging smile, before the last cover also blocked her view of the Girls predicament. Still, the Volunteer could her the Sound of the Rope scratching against itself as the last few Seconds ran out.
An Ocean of heat formed in front of Ellie, causing her to close her Eyes, till the fire died down and the covers returned to the Edges of the Stage, leaving only the slightly burneed Frame, burned Rope and Ash behind. "So, my dear Volunteer, how did my lovely Assistant escape her Peril or do you think she is that Pile of Ashes?"
Ellie looked around, there was no way for the Girl to drop down somewhere and she hadnt managed to open more than a handful knotes, before the Cover went up. " Ellie looked to the Stage floor. "I dont know. I think she got burned to Ash, cause that Fire was really really hot." she answered feeling really bad for the Girl.
Before she could really deal with the thought of having just watched someone turn to Ash, did a new Rope wrap itself around her wists, pulling them behind her back. She wanted to Scream in shock, however the moment her lips parted did a gag push its way into her Mouth, making sure that she wasnt going to complain any time soon. "Well, Darling, since you couldnt figure it out by watching from the Sideline, do you get one more Chance up close." The Magician said, as he tied the Rope around her Chest, just the way he did to his Assistant.
Feeling the Rope pressing against her Skin, preventing any kind of Movement, did Ellie have to agree, for as Restraint as she was, the Rope wasnt feeling to bad. Sure it was a way to tight hug, from her shoulders all the way to her Feet, but she wouldnt have minded in any other Moment, but now feeling the Hands of other Audience members checking that she was as tied up as the previous Assistant wasnt helping her nerves.
the inability to talk or complain thanks to the gag in her Mouth, didnt help relax her mind as she got fixed to the Frame as well. So she already tried to undo the first few Knots, the way she watched the Assistant do, only to realize that her Nails couldnt grab onto the Rope as well. Ellie had to admit that she was in an even worse Spot than the Assistant before her.
Realizing that there was no way for her to escape, did a few tears started to run down her Face, making it hard to look at the slightly worried looking crowd, that wasnt going to help her. As the Covers went into place and ellie only undid two knotes, did she know that her time was up. She closed her eyes and held her breath as the countdown reached Zero and the Flamethrowers light up.
The initial burst of Fire was even worse than what she felt of it, while she sat on the Chair, only this time it went away much faster. She opened her eyes as she felt something cold and sticky in her Face. Ellie opened her Eyes carefully as the Assistant stood in front of her, with her wet hands. "Close youre eyes again, i am not done yet." she said and rubbed the stuff onto Ellies eyelids.
After a few Seconds did Ellies skin feel much better. "Sorry, sometimes he forgets, that the Flamethrowers do cause skin burns." the Assistant said as she cleaned her hands on a towel. "Are we dead?" Ellie asked. "No, we are still technically on Stage, its a bit complicated." In that moment felt Ellie that her bodies dragged in a strange way.
"What is going on?" she asked as she held onto the Assistant. "Oh, we are being sweeped up, our Ashes cant just keep laying on the Stage." the Assistant said with a smile. "Wait, if we turned into Ash, then why- how?" there were to many questions in Ellies mind. The Assistant stepped forward and kissed her. "Magic." was all she said as their lips seperated. "Okay we have like a minute left before the next part of the Trick." she said guided her to a Shelf with Swimsuits. "Pick one?"
The Assistant said it and stripped of her Cloths before grabbing a one piece. Ellie on the other hand picked a bikini, while Ellie was tying up the bottom, did the Assistant close her top. finishing up the Change, just in time for both of them to swallow water. Ellie nearly panicked with all the water around her, however the Assistant kept her arms around her, to hold her still, while the Magician opened the tank the two were stuck in.
"Told you, all they needed was a bit of water." the Magician joked at the audience as Ellie took a deep breath. "And did you figure out the Trick?" the Magician asked once Ellie dried herself with a towel and calmed down. "No, but the Fire really hurt." she complained before being allowed to return to her Seat. The Audience members next to her, kept a close eye on the Bikini she was now wearing. Making her wish that she was still just a pile of Ash on the Stage.
The Assistant stopped Ellie once the show was over and handed her back her Cloths and a Card with her Number.
