Reina let herself fall into her chair. Just a few more hours and it was time for her halloween party. But as she was planning her entrance, did a young woman enter her office.

"I hope i am not intruding?" the girl asked. pulling the detective out of her dream. "Sorry young miss. i got a bit distraced, how can i help you?" she straightend herself and leaned closer to her desk, as the girl sat down and placed a few letters on the table.

The detective, grabbed a few of them and started reading. "I have been getting those for the last two month" the girl added. Reina put the letters and their dangerous content down. "Any idea who sent those?" she asked, the girl denied it. "Thats why i am here." she handed the detective a flyer to a magic show. "I got a asked to be a assistant during that show, but with those letters, i dont feel exactly safe to be on a stage."

Reina got up. "Why didnt you talk- they laughed at you, didnt they?" the girl nodded. Saying her plans goodbye, did she agree to keep the girl company, till the end of the show.

Thanks to the slight horror motive of the show, could she just wear her zombie bunny girl outfit.

As the show began, did Reina place herself on the side wing of the show, keeping an eye on the show and the audience.

Her eyes met the gaze of a man in the crowd. He looked wrong, in contrast to the other audience members. To the detectives surprise, did the magician notice it as well, but for other reasons. Before she knew it, did the Man walk to the stage. Reina kept her eyes on the man, watching him, as the magician instructed him for the next trick.

A simple escape, performed by his lovely assistant. The man followed the magicians orders and soon, the assistant was fully tied up, to the cheers of the audience. For a moment did the magician turn around, to open the box, from which his Assistant would need to escape.

in that moment, did Man grab behind himself and pulled out a small knife. Something neither the audience nor the magician noticed. Forcing Reina to prevent anything. she sprinted across the stage and kicked the guy in the knee cap, before kicking the knife out of his hand.

the Magician catched it and looked at the sharp blade. "Thats none of mine-" he said and looked at the man on the ground. Reina looked up. "i could still need a hand." she said, as she tried to pin the guy down. a few moments later, did the Magician pull handcuffs out of his hat and locked them around the mans hands. "as a little secret, those are made, that only women with small hands, can escape from them. he added, as they lifted the man on his feet.

Reina pulled a letter from his pockets. Another node, just like the others. Reina read the goodbye message and showed it to the magician and his Assistant. "why?" was all the assistant could ask. the man looked at her. "Because i loved you. you-" a kick to the side shut him up. the Employess of the venue dragged the man out. Reina picked up a phone from the floor, showing the picture of the Assistant, from a newspaper article.

the girl stopped. "Thats- thats my old school newspaper." she exclaimed. "seems like, someone couldnt bear the thought of their crush being sawn in half by someone else." the detective said and shut of the the phone, after checking the last few opened apps.

A moment later, did the Magician regain his composure. "Ladies and gentleman, the great miss emiya. A detective so good, she managed to solve a case, during our show. But now that she stepped into my domain, the question is, can her skills protect her." reina shock her head. "fine. what should i do?" the magician smiled. "please check, if my lovely assistant has been properly tied up, by that lunatic?" after a quick check, did the girl vanish into the now open box.

Only for a heavy weight, to land on the box, crushing it, just moments later. a sound behind her, caused the detective to turn around. her client returned with a table and box on it. "Miss detective, would be so kind to get into the box?" the magician asked, as the assistant opened the box. a deep sigh later, did she enter the box.

watching as the magician and his assistant worked on sawing her in half. "If i wasnt a zombie, i would take offense to that." she said, as the magician stratched her feet, while her two halves stood on the two sides of the stage. The assistant leaned closer. "Thanks for solving my case." she whispered and kissed the detective on the cheek, before rolling her two halves back together.

The magician thanked Reina for the help and let her out of the box.
