The Queen and her daugther sat on their thrones, looking at their guests. “My Queen,I hope the food is to your liking?” the chef asked. The Queen complimented his work and wished for another dish. Her personal Magician took to the stage. Using his “magic” to see the future of the Queen, her daughter and the nobles attending the dinner. The Nobles wondered why the Queen entertained those antics. Till the Magician announced that he was to tired and needed to recharge his magic. The daughter of a Noble yarned, as the Magician wanted to leave. “Am I boring the young Lady?” he asked.
Before her father could do anything did she jump up. “Yeah, I have seen a Magician already and those little tricks, wouldn’t be enough to cheat against my father when he drunkenly plays poker.” Her Father grabbed his glass and downed it in one go. He should have known it would end bad. Interested the Queen looked at the young woman. “Please step forward.” She said in a gentle tone. The Girls heart stopped for a moment. “It would be my pleasure, my Queen.” She said, as her father touched her shoulder.
The girl stepped into the centre of the room. The Queen rested her head on her hands. “So, where is this so called Magician, you think could beat my Advisor?” the girl closed her eyes. “She is right here.” She said and kept eye contact with the Queen. “You, worthy of being a Magician. I wouldn’t even believe you could be a witch. You know what, humour me. My knights will bring you everything you will need.” The Queen said and waited for the girls reaction.
The Girl smiled. “I need your Knights to carry a few things here and I will need the aid of your daughter.” The Girl asked. The Queen looked at her daughter. “Mom, I would like to know what she wants to do, so please say yes.” The Princess begged. The Queen wasn’t a fan, but she complied.
A few minutes later did the girl return, with two small tables, a box the width of the princess, but not long enough to fully cover her, two metal sheets and a saw. Meanwhile, the princess changed her dress for a top and skirt. Nearly causing her Mother a heart attack, as she saw her daughter. “I hope that’s not a problem?” the princess asked, the young Magician. The girl smiled. “Oh, its perfect and now I don’t need to ask you to get undressed. I think, your mom would have killed me for that.”
“What are you to talking about?” the queen inquired. “That I am glad, that I didn’t tell her to dress so useful.” The girl answered. Then she instructed the knights, to use their swords to cut holes into two sides of the box, after a minute, was there enough space for the princess to stretch her legs out of one end and her head and arms out of the other.
The princess complied and laid in the box, giving her mom a smile and a thumbs up as the box got closed. “To be fair, this is my first time doing this trick, so I will keep quiet and let my work speak for itself.” She said and kneeled next to the princess head. “Don’t worry, I am just trying to get more attention to the main part of the trick. You will be perfectly fine. But just in case, one word and o will stop.”
The knights tensed up, as the young magician picked up the saw and placed it on top of the box. The princess commanded them let their weapons down. She gave her magician a reassuring smile. “Why are you so clam? Should I get you to relax?” the magician said. The princess laughed. “Maybe, but i also watched you practice and I wanted to see it up close anyway.” And with that the Magician straightened her posture and started sawing into the box. As the saw went down, did the princess shortly doubt her believe.
The Room got silent, as the magician stopped. The Princess closed her eyes and nodded at the unasked question. She was certain to trust the girl and now it was the magicians obligation to fulfil the princesses wish. The princess started laughing as the saw went across her exposed stomach. The deeper the saw went, the more she started to enjoy it.
The princess was a bit disappointed as the saw left her spine. To finish cutting the box in half. Something the princess did complain about, was the could sheet of metal separating her halve. Two of the knights got the job to slowly rotate the boxes, so that everyone could get a good look, at the divided Princess. The Princess was the first one to clap, as she stretched her feet.
The Royal Magician stepped forward. “Those are clearly the legs of another maiden.” He yelled out. “You can test for yourself, if those are my legs yourself. But if you cant prove that, I want you to be exiled for as long as you are alive” the princess demanded. The Queen looked at her advisor. “Wel, I. okay. I will grant your wish my dear.”
The royal Magician tickled her feet a bit, secretly stabbing the girls left foot. The princess yelled out in pain as blood ran down her feet. The Royal magician jumped back as the young magician pushed her assistant with the help of the knights back together.
Together they opened the Box. The Princess grabbed her foot and looked at the blood tripping down her Sole. Before she could say anything, did the Queen order the knights to capture the royal magician.
“I kept you around, because your father was the advisor my father ever had, I even entertained your silly party tricks. But spilling the blood of my daughter. Knights, its up to your own values, how to deal with this pest. If I however, ever see this face again, I will hang each of you.” And so the knights dragged him away.
The young lady ripped a piece of her dress to cover the Scratch. “I am really sorry.” The Magician apologized, the Princess grabbed the girls chin, so that their eyes met. “there has been an opening in the Castle, can I interest you in taking over the Spot.” The Queen sighed. “well, young magician. I have underestimated you. You are well worth your new Title.” The Queen said.
