Claire looked at her ticket. its been 10 minutes since the show should have started. she was about to leave from her seat, as the Theater lights shutdown. A spotlight pointed at the center of the Stage. A young man appeared on Stage, standing in a black shirt and white pants. "I am truly sorry, but i ran into a little Problem. you see, i need an Assistant for my Trick. unfortunally, i did loose my actual Assistant." he clapped his hands.

"Not that she left me or anything. i really lost her, you know. I am sure, at least some of you lost a key before and can understand that. Still, i will need someone help, Any volunteers?" He asked into the crowd. Only for one hand to rise up. "Huh, to be honest, i wasn't actually expecting someone to raise their hands. but if you would like young Lady. Please come onto the Stage." Claire blushed as she got lifted onto the Stage, by two other Audience members.

"So, my dear what is your Name?" he asked with a gentle smile. "Claire. I- uhm. " he cut her off. "Tell me Claire, how should we solve my Assistant problem. I suppose you have something up your mind. She glanced at him and the Audience, he voice broke as she answered. "you could- saw me- in half or so." she yelled out and covered her now red face with her Hands.

The magician started to laugh. "Thats adorable. But -" he steched his arm horizontally and moved it over her head. " you are a bit to short for it. I would probably lose you in a box, before i could get a saw. No, that wouldn't do. Any other idea?" he asked.

She thought and snapped her fingers without thinking about it. a Moment later and she was covered in white Smoke. As she could see again, did she notice a Treasure chest next to her. She quickly opened it, as she noticed it moving. revealing a slightly older woman tied up, glancing daggers at the magician. "So, thats where i lost her. Claire could you please free my Assistant." he said and left the Stage.

Once Claire removed the gag, that prevent the Assistant from talking, did she thank the young girl. "Thanks Claire, i was really worried he wouldn't find me again. i am Carlie and its nice to meet you." Once the final knot was untied did she finally step out of the Chest and pushed it to the side, with Claires help.

"perfect timing." the magician said and pushed out a Box for the Modern Art illusion. Carlie rolled her eyes. "Really?" the Magician looked at the Box. "Come on, didn't you say you liked this one?" she turned to Claire. "I was sarcastic, do you believe that. He just never listens. do you think, i should step inside?" Claire looked at the box. "I think the people down there would like it." as she pointed at the Audience, did they cheer Carlie on. "Fine. But make sure he doesnt forget about me again."

Carlie stepped into the Box and got into Position. She usually liked this one, because all she had to do, was stand straight. After being stuck in that Chest for Hours, the thought of just standing around, became a nightmare. then she felt the Blades being pushed into the Box. Only to stop at her Waist. the Blades moved a bit, Carlie was sure, that her Magician handed the Blades over to the volunteer he picked.

Another thing she wasnt happy about, Especially since those Blades ment, that she would be actually divided, instead of just pretending. It was never pleasant for her leaving that part up to a volunteer. they are always to slow and with shaky hands. A sharp pain ripped her out of her thoughts and she went blind. Something was off. She felt the upper box moving. But for some reason, she couldn't fell her upper body. Her Legs were fine, she kicked against the door and opened it, feeling the theater lights on her skin.

"So Carlie, how are you feeling?" Carlie heard someone answering the question. but it wasnt her. How could anyone answer for her, if she was like that. Something was clearly wrong and she had to find out what. She jumped out of the Box. Multiple voices started to scream for her to stop. Then she felt a pair of hands touching her legs. She kicked the person and took of running.

Claire landed on her back. "I nearly had them." she said and watched the legs running backstage. Carlie leaned forward and read the text on the Blade underneath her. "Those are the wrong blades." she sighed. Claire looked at the half woman. "Wrong?" Carlie signed her to come closer. "Those are for seperating someone into to seperate people, really useful, if you get vertically cut in half. but like this." The Magician pulled a hair out of Carlies head and tied it around a necklace.

"Claire, i am really sorry to ask, but could you follow her legs and bring them back here. i will make up the parts of the show, you are missing i promise." Carlie looked at the girl. "Just be careful and good luck." with that the girl couldn't refuse.
