The Shopowner of the old Magic shop looked over his inventory. Ever since the internet started out, did he watch as less and less customers came to his shop. Thinking about it, he was wondering if it was even worth search for someone to take over the buisness. Or if he should just let the shop, enjoy the rest of its days and close the door once he was to old for it.
the Door suddenly opened. He looked on as a young woman entered his shop. At first she had scared look on her face, before the shopkeeper noticed a little spark in her eyes. Only for her to become worried again. "Everything alright, young Miss?" he inquired from his chair. She turned to him. "Hmm. I don't know, there was a strange guy outside following me. thats h-" she muttered.
The old shopkeep looked at the troublemaker. "Seems like not the best kind of companion. Dont worry, the Windows only allow people to look in a tiny bit. He cant see you from there, but come a bit closer." He stood up as she walked slowly closer. He moved carfully over to a carbinet roughly her size and opened it. "If you would be o kind to step in. It looks like wont leave so easily."
Quickly thinking about, did she risk it and stepped into the box. The Keeper closed the door and locked it, switching over to basket of swords, as the Man from outside opened the door. "Where is she?" he asked. The Shopkeeper picked up a sword and looked at it. "Who? I had no customers in Month. Thanks to all that online shopping. But i don't like your behaviour." with that the Man pulled a Knife and pointed at the Shopkeeper.
The Knife hit the floor, as the Man looked at his arm. only realising that his hand was missing, when it landed on his foot. "you shouldn't point with sharp objects, it could end badly." the shopkeeper said and started whip the blood of his sword. The Man grabbed his hand and ran out. "those people never learn." he said returned to the Box.
"i am so sorry." did the girl start out, once she could see more than the darkness of the box, she was locked in. "Its not your fault. if it wasnt you, he would have attacked someone else. I am just glad my skills, could still help someone." he said, returning the sword to the others. "Still, its been a while since i last had to deal with such a fellow."
The girl looked at the Old Man. "That happens often here?" He smiled. "Not lately, Back when more Magicans and their Assistants showed up, for more personalised designs. seems like beautiful women are attracting them around here. i really thought i cleaned up, but it seems i am really getting old. So, if you want, you can go look a bit around. I will call the Police to bring you back home."
"But i dont live in this town." she countered. "I know, else you wouldn't have been so careless to walk here. i am the last open Shop in this Street. You would have been trapped." with that he walked into the back Area and closed the door behind him.
The girl looked at all the Fake swords and Boxes. Walking around she wondered, which ones were real and which one were just for show. She pulled out two swords from another box. feeling that one was rather light and the other heavy and colder. Pushing against the two, the lighter one just folded. so she put the heavy one, back and walked around with her Fake sword and pierced a few Boxes, acting like she was a Magician on Stage.
Till she noticed something laying on a shelf just out of her reach. She climbed onto the shelf and picked up the Box, that caught her interest. Not noticing how much the shelf started to move, did she jump back down. a Box filled with swords, tipped over the Edge. the swords pierced through her Body, pinning the girl in place.
The noise of the swords hitting the floor, alerted the Shopkeeper. He looked in shock at this impaled guest. She opened her eyes, as he stepped closer. "Hmm, i am Stuck." she said and tried to move her arms. The Magician grabbed one of the swords and pulled it out, leaving the Girls skin unharmed. "Have you been a Magicians assistant before?" he asked as he pulled the rest from her body, allowing her to stand up straight.
"No, why?" she asked. He took the last sword he pulled out of her Stomach and hit one of the shelfs, denting the shelf. "Because, those are real swords and you just brushed them off. Thats rather rare." she looked at the shelf. "wait, those are, i- uh. oh." she looked down at herself and the holes in her cloths. "How?" she asked, touching her skin.
"Magic" the Shopkeeper answered. "But if want to learn a bit more about it, i could give you Job." she looked at him. "As long as i can decide what i am wearing." the Shopkeeper laughed. "Sweetheart. i think i am a bit to old for using the kind of Assistant you think of. But i can ask, if a Magician thats more in your age range, needs a lovely Assistant to act as eye candy."
