"This has to stop. He has nothing to with this" The Girl yelled. The leader of the group looked at her. "We will let him go, if you stop being difficult." he offered. Ethan grabbed her Shoulders. "Don't something isn't right with them" Ethan muttered under his breath. "I know and thats why i at least want you to survive." she answered and freed herself from his grip.

One of the mans goons came closer to grab her. Ethan looked on, cursing his own weakness. Then he noticed a line appearing on the goons body. At first it was just a slight redline, than it got sharper. Now everyone noticed it. The goon looked in horror at Reina, before his body fully split down the middle and his blood covered his companions. She froze at that sight, while her Attackers started to look around.

"Yeah, there is still a lot of life left in you, kid." an older voice said. Reina turned around and saw an old man standing in front of Ethan and grabbed his chin. The leader looked at the old man. He wanted to attack him, being certain that the old man was behind the attack. Yet, he knew better. "Once a slave, always a slave. Old Man." he said with a cold fury and turned around. Pulling his remaining goon along.

Reina collapsed on her knees. "Who where those guys?" she yelled out. The old man helped Ethan walk closer to the Girl. Before he placed a hand on her shoulders. "That my dear was a Vampire. But he shouldn't talk about it here." he said and helped her on her feet. Together they carried Ethan, who lost conciousness, once the adrenaline left his body.

"Who are you, Mister?" She asked once they reached an old mansion at the edge of the Town. "My Name is Jack, i am or more i was a detective. But for now, i just like to go on nightly walks." he said with a warming smile. He then lead her to an old Living room. Where he checked the Injuries on Ethans body. "Could you clean those scratches? everthing else isnt that dangerous for now." he said and looked out of the window.

"You said, those guys are Vampires. Why are they after me?" she asked while cleaning the boys wounds. "No, just the leader. And considering the way they tracked you, there is a contract out for you, else they would have just grabbed you and drained every bit of blood out." She got up. "But i haven't done anything, i -" He stopped her. "You arent shocked about vampires?" he asked and turned from the windows. "I got just stalked from multiple impossible angles. I saw a man taking hits straight to the Face, without flinch or even a scratch on his Face and an old man cutting a muscular guy lengthswise in half. For now, i am willing to believe anything."

Ethan finally got up. "Whats happening?" he asked as a bright light hit the House. "We have been found. Kids, i have no time for explainations. For now just run. I will catch up to you in no time." Reina and Ethan started running towards the door, the old man pointed at. Looking a last time back, did Ethan look eyes with the old man. He threw his Cane towards Ethan.

Once the boy catched it, did he notice that it was hiding a sword. "It can defend you, if you want to fight." the old man yelled out before he jumped out of the window, towards the light. The two Managed to reach the Backdoor and leave.

They could hear the noise of a fight coming from the otherside. Hoping the old man was truly alright they kept on running. Ethans senses lead him towards a construction site. Reina struggled to keep pace, wondering where he got all that energy, after the beating the boy took. Still, they both stopped once a metal pipe hit the ground behind them.

Looking up, mulitple shadowy creatures looked down on them. "That old man is predictable." the Vampire said and jumped down, followed by his Monsters. Ethan didn't hesistate and went for a clean strike. At first the Vampire wanted to take the hit and just end it there. Only realising his mistake in the last second and doged backwards. Leaving him open for a connecting strike.

Blood ran down his Face, from a small cut under his eye. Ethan readied himself. He turned on his foot and stabed behind himself, barley missing the girls neck as he impaled the monster that tried to grab her.

Feeling that Power flowing through his Body, he came to the conclusion that he had one minute left, before his body couldn't take the stress anymore. The blade felt like it was eating up his soul. He managed to get two more hits in, before he the Vampire lifted his arms. "okay, you win. You can leave." he said and the monsters opened a path.

Ethan smiled at the girl. "Sorry, about this. i hope you understand, that it is not personal." he said with a clam voice. She broke down. There was no way out anymore. With tears in her eyes, did Reina watch on, as the boy walked past the Vampire. The evil grin of the Vampire burned itself into her soul.

It took her a second to understand it. Thankfully did she mange to up fast enough and jump forward, before one of the monsters could get a hold of her. The cut of arm of the Vampire moved past her vision as she ran to catch up. Ethan grabbed her with his free hand and used the other, to keep the monsters at bay. Both reached the Street and just kept on running despite their Bodys wants to stop. Ethan noticed the Van to late as it matched their speed and the doors opened. He couldn't turn fast enough to stop the girl from being pulled in.

With that another hand grabed his neck as well. Throwing him against the inside wall of the van. The last thing on his mind was the closing of the door.
