Melissa started to run. She was trapped in that old dusty trainingsroom for days. Sure, she wasn't as trapped as her Assistants. But they had to Luck to just leave and forget about it, once she let them out of the Boxes, she put them into. Sadly, there was no one to pull her out of a hat like that.

So, she decided to use that one sunny day, to spent her time outside. After a few minutes of running, did her body give up. So, she laid down on the grass in the Park near her Apartment. After a few Minutes of just enjoying the heat on her Skin, did she hear the Laughter of children and rolled into a Siting position.

She was surprised that she needed so long to really notice all the Street performances happening around her. People dressed as Statues, Musician and pantomimes. Looking at them, she thought about it. The last time, she was acting as a Street magician was, while she was a teenager. Melissa had to smile at the thought of how inexperienced she was back then and how far she came.

To think that she was so close to giving up and just apply to being the Assistant of a small Magician, instead of becoming the succsessful magician she was now. Still, what was stoping her from getting back to it and see, how much she progressed since those days.

Milissa ran to her apartment. After a few Minutes did she manage to fill a Box with tricks, she could perform in the Park, she wanted to stay away from tricks, that required an Assistant. But she couldn't resist to put them in the box and returned to the park. She quickle draw a Sign on a Piece of Cardboard and started to perform with a few Card tricks.

Till a small crowd formed around her. It took a bit before some of the kids gathered the bravery to get closer. Using that, to change up her act, did Melissa stop with her Card tricks and pulled bonbons and small chocolate bars. Getting the interest of a few teenagers. Till they sent on of the Girls forward.

Melissa thought about it. Pulling a Lolipop from the girls shirt. With that the others lined up, wanting to see, from where the Magician would pull the sweets on them. Only to be dissapointed, as the only things that Melissa let appear from underneath their cloths were fruits. Getting laughters from the other onlookers.

Leading to the Teenagers walking of. Milissa smiled as she watched them bite into the fruits. Checking her box, she was surprised that she was already out of sweets and hat to get back to her usual tricks. After a few more classic Card tricks and the dissapearnce of a few dollars, did she spot a young girl stopping and their eyes met.

"Hey, would you like to help me with my next trick?" she asked the girl and the audience turned to her. Melissa stepped forward, before the girl could run and lead her to the bank, with Melissas equipment. "So, i am glad you will help me, now i have two tricks in mind i would like to perform. But you will be at the reciving end of it. So i will give you the chance to take the lesser of two evil." The Magician said and grabbed a sword and a small blanket from the  box.

"My dear, it would be boring to just tell you what i am planning, so you have to make your choice based on what i am going to use for the trick. So, do you want me to use this sword or the Blanket?" The girl touched the Sword and pulled her hand back as she felt the cold metal on her skin. "The blanked please." did she whisper and Melissa repeated it for the audience to hear.

"Oh, honey, Magic is about misdirection and you just took the more evil option. I would have just the sword to balance you on it and impale you with it. But thats to late now. And so did Melissa place the blanket on the girls head and rubbed it with her hands, giving the girl a slight head massage before she pulled the blanket back and revealed a new Hairstyle to the applause of the audience.

But the girl wasn't a fan of  it and so Melissa repeated the act two times. Still not finding a look at made the girl happy. With that did Melissa slide her hands futher down and pulled the blanket to the side. The Audience looked in shock, as they realised that the girls head vanised. The girl lifted her hands and searched for her head as well.

After a short panic attack did the girl clam down. "Don't worry, i will return her head. But sadly, i am out of time today. So, you can watch me return this lovely young ladies head, during my next show in the city theater this Saturday, she said and handed out flyers.

Melissa kissed the end of the girls neck and slid a Ticket for the show, in the girls bra, before she packed up her things and left. She watched from her Apartment, as the People looked at the headless girl. Wondering if she should help her to find the Theater.
