Rose walked around the Park. She remembered all the times she came here as a little kid. It was kind of stange for her to see how much changed in just a few years. It took her a bit to find the mark she left on a Tree, while celebrating her 10th birthday. To think that she was just days away from college. using her pocket knife, did she retrace the mark. So that at least the tree will remember her.

Looking around she noticed that someone was building up a stage. She wondered what the Stage was for. Till a girl that was roughly her age, handed her a flyer. Looking at it, she was surprised that the Stage was for a Magicshow. The last time she was involved with a Magicshow, was on her 12th birthday, where a Magician tried to saw her in half.

To Roses dissapointed, did the Magician never actually saw her. Still, she got curios about what this Magician would do. So she got back Home and changed into her favourite black dress, before returning to the Park. With a bit of Luck did she manage to get a sport right in the front of the Stage.

She watched the Magician pulling coins from kids ears and did a few Card tricks. After the Audience warmed up to the show, did his assistant roll a table with a box on top of it on stage. Roses Heart started to beat faster as she recognized the Trick. It was the trick that dissapointed her all those years ago. The sawing a woman in half trick.

The Magician was searching for a volunteer from the audience, without thinking did she jump up from her seat and attracted the Attention of the Magician who helped her get on Stage. "So my dear, what is your Name?" the Magician asked. Rose looked at the Crowd and answered sheepishly "Rose."

"Have you ever been a Magicians assistant?" he asked, seeing her face get red. "Once, but Magician was really bad at it." Magician looked at her. "Did he saw you in half and didn't manage to put you back together? no that can't be it." Rose turned to face the audience. "No, the saw didn't even touch me."

"Maybe we can change that tonight." the Magician said and helped Rose to sit on the table. After he lifted the Boxes, did she fully lay down. She could feel the Box keeping her head and feet in place. While the Assistant grabbed a saw and started to cut into the box.  Rose could feel the saw moving through the box.

Her confidence started to get lower, as she started to feel the Motion of the saw above her hips. The Assistant stopped as the saw finally touched Roses Body. The Magician looked at the shocked expression Rose had, she tried to play it of, but the Magician lifted the saw and helped her out of the Box. Showing a small cut, into Roses dress.

"Okay, that didn't work. Would you like to help me with a Change?" he asked the girl. Rose touched the ripped Area. "As long as it isn't damaging my dress again." she answered, recovering her confidence. In the meantime did the Magician lay down on the table. "Well, you have seen how much space there is, would you still like to check that she can't run?" the Magician asked and handed her a feather.

After a Minute of tickling the Assistant with the feather, did the Magician hand Rose the saw and helped her align it with the box. Since the saw had already cut in the box, did it only take a few seconds for Rose to hit something soft. The Assistant started to giggle as Rose started to slowly move the saw again.

She was certain that she was cutting into the Girl in the box, but she seemed to be unbothered by the saw moving through her. It was more like it gave her a sense of pleasure. Then the Magician placed two blades into the gap, as the saw reached the end of the box, did the blades fall into place. Before rose could react, did the Magician pull one of the boxes to the side and left her with the top half of his assistant.

The Assistant reassured the Girl that she was fine. which got a few laughters from the audience. Till the Magician put his assistant back together. He handed Rose a Magic wand and she returned to her seat. Still wondering how the Assistant did it.

Afterwards the Magician grabbed another volunteer from the audience for his last trick. After covering the girl with a blanket, did he move it away. Showing that the girl was replaced with a stone Statue and the lights of the show ended. Rose was worried about the girl, but she was sure it was staged just to make the end of the show more interesting.

Three Months later did she visit her Home and took another walk in the Park. Till she noticed something hidden behind a few bushes. Looking at it, it was the Statue from the girl that vanished during the Magic show. Rose looked at the statue. She could make out every detail of the girls body. Since the cloths that covered her, where mostly ripped apart.

Rose touched the Statue only to accidentally break of the Status arms. Surprisingly, the inside looked like the stone version of the inside of an arm. It took Rose a few seconds to long, to notice the stone spreading to her fingers.

She threw the arm away, but it was already to late. Her Hands started to turn into stone and it moved up her Body. Slowly turning her into a Statue as well. As she turned around, did she notice a few Statues of other wome, looking like they tried to run away. With the last of her strength did she strike a final pose and smiled as her Face turning to stone finished her transformation.
