Green and Gold
Part 2: Triple Sawing
By Dr. Mercurious
"I wish I could be there with you," Jessica said over the phone. "An all-expenses paid weekend in Hawaii!"
"So do I," Anthony's voice sounded wistful even over the phone. "Pity you've got quarterly reports. It may be for the best, though. I'm going to be spending the weekend in meetings."
Jessica examined her new engagement ring for the umpteenth time. "Mmm, well hurry back. I want to thank you properly for my favorite piece of jewelry."
"I just wanted to let you know how I feel."
A warm feeling appeared in her stomach. "That you did." She looked at the beautiful diamond again. "I was a little worried, I must admit. Independent computer contractors don't usually get paid business trips."
"That's for sure," he said with feeling. "There's big money behind this." She heard a voice in the background, amplified by electronics. "Whoops, there's my flight!"
"Call me when you land!" she reminded him.
"I will," Anthony assured her. "Love you."
"Love you too," Jessica returned, blowing him a kiss just before hanging up the phone.
She gazed with fondness at the wonderful, inexplicable, magical box sitting on her coffee table. "This is your fault," she giggled at it. "If he hadn't bought you, we might not be getting married." She patted it fondly. It was a pretty conversation piece, square and made of wood with gold trimming. Three slots in the sides enabled the three daggers it came with to be slid in; he box itself was designed to be worn over someone's head. It was a stage magical prop that did real magic -- when the blades slid in, the person's head disappeared.
The feeling of being headless couldn't be described. These days, Jessica only looked normal if she had to go to work at H & R Block or go out in public; otherwise, she went straight to Anthony and away her head went -- either that or he would restore her immediately but turn the box around so her head was on backwards. Before he left, he'd given her the box in case she felt like using it herself - - and the engagement ring.
She hadn't used the box yet because she wasn't sure one could use it without help. There was a lot they didn't know about the box, and Anthony was cautious about experimenting, although they did find out that pushing the lever on its side wasn’t necessary. Jessica didn't know if she could stand not using it the whole weekend but the prospect of doing herself in by accident was a sobering one.
A knock sounded on her door. I’m not expecting anyone, she thought, peeking out the keyhole. She saw a woman in a uniform that said COPPERFIELD MOVERS outside her apartment and opened the door curiously.
The woman smiled at her. "Is this 76 Medford High-rise?"
"Yes," Jessica ventured.
The woman’s smile got bigger. "Great! I have a delivery for you," she said, thrusting an electronic pad and stylus forward. "Sign here."
Jessica glanced down the hall to see two burly men and a large wooden box on wheels. It was made of wood, but what got her attention was the box’s colors -- green with gold trim. Just like the Disappearing Head illusion.
She signed quickly. "Bring it right in!" Jessica stepped aside as the box was wheeled in. She’d been getting caught up in Anthony’s mania about stage magic ever since the first box’s arrival, but even if she hadn’t it was obvious what this box was. It was long enough for someone to lie inside it; a stock on one end was obviously for a neck, and another stock on the opposite end was for ankles. There were two doors on the top, and two straight blades rested inside the slot between the top doors; Jessica bet herself there was a saw inside the box.
In short, it was for sawing someone in half.
She tipped the woman and her movers generously and shooed them out so she could stare at it longingly.
"Anthony, you rat," she said with feeling. Today was Thursday; he wouldn’t be back until Monday - - Boston to Hawaii was a long flight.
She hoped he got back earlier. She couldn’t wait to play with his new gift.

After eighteen hours in the air, the last thing Anthony wanted to do was go to a meeting, but that’s exactly what his client had in mind. For the amount of money being shelled out, he was sure the client expected all his whims to be catered to; a pity Anthony agreed with him.
Before now he’d only talked to the man on the phone, and he’d seemed a jolly sort. Meeting him in his hotel suite at Dante Towers confirmed it; short and pudgy with a bird’s nest of white hair and bushy facial hair, his blue eyes twinkled and Anthony could see the grin through the mustache.
"Mr. Dini," Anthony nodded.
The man snorted. "Heck, call me Harry, son. Gonna need that name when you cuss me out." He wore a short-sleeved Hawaiian shirt, which was colored various shades of green, and gold shorts.
"Sure…Harry," Anthony returned. "I can’t help but wonder why I’m here, though." Mr. Dini - - Harry - - had not been forthcoming over the phone.
"Simple," Harry beamed. "It’s so after we talk business, you and your significant other could have a little va-cay. Don’t tell me you don’t got one, son, ‘cause I won’t believe it."
Anthony decided that the guy was one of those who approached life slightly askew; it didn’t bother him because he’d describe himself the same way. "I do, but her accounting firm had quarter-end reports."
"And they wouldn't let her take time off for a romantic getaway? Now that's a shame. Who she workin’ for?"
"H & R."
Harry grimaced. "Those fly-by-nights? Sonny, she could do better." He began to search his pockets, turning them out. "I’m sure I had it somewhere."
"Had what?" Anthony ventured.
"A card for my accounting firm; pays better…" he gave up searching himself and peered at Anthony. "There it is!"
"There what is?"
"In your pocket, son."
Anthony was too tired to do anything but comply; his eyes widened as he felt the small business card that hadn’t been there before. He pulled it out. "Wow," he said, perking up. "Nice card trick." He chuckled. "With business cards, no less."
"You a fan of magic?"
"Damn straight, although my favorites are the tricks where they saw a woman in half or something like that."
Harry beamed at him. "Me too! Knew there was a reason I liked you."
Anthony suddenly couldn’t hold a yawn in any longer. Harry looked sympathetic. "Why don't I make this real short seein' is how you're ready to fall over. I want you to do the same work you did for AvidPro last year."
Despite his fatigue, Anthony perked up even more. That’d been a tricky bit of programming, writing code for their image-mapping software, and it paid well to boot. "That’ll be expensive," he said.
Harry snorted. "It’s only money. But I don’t need programming for individual sensors this time. I need programming for the scanner."
Anthony was now fully awake. "Did you say scanner?"
Harry nodded. "Yup. I got me a contraption that’ll scan an image of anything inside it and translate it into a 3D image on a computer. I need someone to do the core OS. You game?"
"Sounds great! I’d love to see the hardware!"
The short man beamed at him. "That you will…tomorrow, though. You look dead on your feet."
"Tomorrow is doable," Anthony agreed.

Jessica came home Friday to a surprise. Her favorite cousins, who she almost never saw in person because they lived in California, had stopped by for a surprise visit.
"Karen! Vicki!" Jessica cried out as she saw them lounging around outside the building, and for a while there was nothing except hugging.
She pulled back to look at them. Unlike most identical twins, Karen and Vicki made no attempt to dress distinctively and in fact never had. Both had their blond hair done up in ponytails of exactly the same length, and they both wore matching white tank-tops and shorts; even their sneakers looked identically scuffed in places. Jessica had it on very good authority - - theirs - - that they didn’t even mind being called by the other’s name. They’d been thirteen the last time she saw them, which would make them nineteen now. She texted them as often as she could, though; they were lots of fun.
"What are you two doing here?" she said.
"Our Jessica’s getting married…" one began.
"…and you expect us NOT to visit so we can meet him first?" the other finished.
"Sorry, but he’s away on a business trip," she laughed.
They looked at each other. "Even better!" one said.
"We can talk about him and not have to worry he’ll overhear!" grinned the other.
They gossiped and giggled all the way to Jessica’s apartment. She was so happy to see them she forgot about her latest conversation piece until the door opened.
The twins had two very large pairs of eyes between them. "Is that what I think it is?" The twin on Jessica’s right said.
"Damn straight, Vicki," said the one on Jessica’s left, who was obviously Karen. Karen gave Jessica a questioning look. "I thought you weren’t into stage magic."
Jessica giggled. "Things change." She realized right then that she couldn’t keep the secret from these two. "Why don’t you two sit down; I’ve got something to tell you."
Jessica told them all about the first box and what it could do. The twins’ attention was rapt the whole time; not once did they express disbelief. When she was finished, they looked at each other and then back at her.
"So you think this works the same way?" Vicki said eagerly.
Jessica shrugged. "I would assume so. It’s the same design."
"Have you tried it out?" Karen urged.
Jessica snorted. "How can I? Anthony’s away, and one person can’t saw themselves in half."
The twins stood up. "Well, what are you waiting for, then?" they chorused in unison.
Jessica looked between the two of them; light dawned. She laughed. "Nothing, I guess!" A generous impulse struck her as she saw their eager expressions. "I’ll tell you what; why don’t we do rock-scissors-paper to see who goes first?"
The twins hugged each other in sheer delight. "Yes!" they chorused.
Karen won the first pass and Vicki the second. Jessica sighed dramatically. "Figures. It’s my sawing box and I get to try it out last."
Karen wasted no time in climbing inside the box. She stuck out her tongue. "Fair’s fair." She handed her sister the saw, who looked at Jessica. "Hey after she’d sawed, can we take her halves out of the box?"
"I don’t see why not," Jessica mused, closing the lid and sliding the stocks into place.
"Fine by me!" Karen beamed as Vicki sawed into the box. Then a frown creased her features. "This isn’t going to hurt, is it?"
"Muhahahaha," Jessica cackled. "Should have thought of that before."
"Uh, wait, I changed my mind!" Karen insisted, looking scared.
"Too late, foolish mortal," Jessica said, hamming it up. Vicki grinned and sawed faster.
"Is not, I...!" she stopped in mid-protest as the saw hit the point where, Jessica guessed, empty air ended and Karen began. Her eyes grew wide and she blinked slowly.
Vicki peered at her sister in concern. "You alright?"
"Oh yeahhhh," Karen groaned. "Mmmm, saw me slower, would you? I want to savor this."
"It feels that good?" Vicki asked.
"Better," Karen insisted. She really looked like she was enjoying the experience.
Vicki cut the saw into her sister’s body at a slower pace. Karen moaned and gasped in obvious pleasure the whole time; Jessica was torn between giving the two this moment in private and wanting to watch this strangely erotic act. The voyeuristic feelings won out, and despite her heterosexuality found herself becoming turned on; Vicki seemed to be getting even more enjoyment out of seeing her sister being sawn in half. When the saw passed out the other side, Karen clenched her teeth and suddenly tensed, crying out in ecstacy.
In silence, basking in the afterglow of her sister’s orgasm, Vicky placed the vertical blades in their slots. She then separated the two halves of the box, opened the tops, and lifted Karen’s top out. The two shared a decidedly non-sisterly kiss.
"You’re gonna love it," Karen purred as Vicky placed her sister’s upper half on the couch and then helped her lower half climb out. Jessica could see the layer of skin that covered the cut, smooth and inviting.
Vicky grinned sensually. "My turn," she said, pulling out the blades. She moved the boxes together and climbed in.
Jessica swallowed and licked her lips. "If both of you are in half, who’s going to saw me?"
"I have an idea about that," Vicki said as Jessica closed the lid. "Come here."
Jessica bent down and Vicki whispered to her. When she straightened, she was beaming. "Sounds like fun!"

Breakfast at The Dante Towers was an elaborate affair on Saturday morning. Anthony was roused at his requested wake-up time - - 8 pm - - by a gentle knock on the door and a musical voice announcing "Room service."
Anthony yawned, stretched, and went over to unlock the door, pausing to admire the view. The server at the door was a lovely buxom woman with a bikini top, grass skirt bottom, sandals, and a big smile. The plain metal tray she wheeled in was covered, and Anthony could smell no breakfast on it. She stopped in the middle of the bedroom and lifted the cover to reveal a bare plate.
"What would you like for breakfast this morning?" she said.
He considered this. "Three eggs over easy, toast, hash browns, sausage and coffee." Traveling always gave him an appetite. The maid smiled, placed the cover back down and stared at it for a minute. Then, with a flourish, she lifted it again. Anthony’s eyes widened as his requested breakfast was revealed in all its glory. "Wow, good trick" he said, looking at the cart. He didn’t see where it could hide a false bottom. "Very good trick."
"We aim to please," she dimpled.
He tipped her generously before she left and assaulted breakfast vigorously. He wished for the tenth time that Jessica could be here; better still, with the box. He’d love to see her headless body strolling the beaches clad in a bikini.
He wondered how she was doing.
********************
Vicki’s idea had been an experiment, of sorts.
The sawing box was not a thin model; more like the bulky boxes of old. Two people could fit inside it if they snuggled.
The idea was to lift Vicki’s legs out of the box. Then, Karen’s upper half would be laid on top of Vicki’s upper half, face down. Karen’s legs would then be placed in the bottom half. The two halves of the box would be pushed together and the blades taken out. The idea was to see if Karen’s legs would rejoin with their owner despite the fact she was facing the wrong way or with Vicki who was facing the right way. The answer turned out to be Option 3; both Vicki and Karen shared Karen’s lower half as a conjoined entity. Vicki wasn’t concerned about losing sensation and control of her lower half. "I thought that might happen," she shrugged.
Then it was Jessica’s turn to be sawed. Despite the newness of their situation, the now-conjoined twins moved gracefully, drawing the saw slowly through her body. It felt like being slowly penetrated by a very large penis; she peaked as the saw hit her spine, but couldn’t orgasm until it had completely divided her. Her personal universe swirled; when Jessica was able to focus on reality, the blades had been inserted and she was on the sofa, her upper half resting by her hips and legs. She blinked a couple of times and looked up at the twins. "Wow," she exhaled, expecting to see smoke.
"You were out of if for a bit, cuz," Vicki grinned.
Jessica crossed her legs. "No kidding. That was…" she frowned. She was expecting to feel as if she was sitting in two different places at once, but she seemed to feel like she was sitting in three. She uncrossed her legs and felt as if she had a second pair that was uncrossing as well.
Jessica glanced over at Vicki’s abandoned lower half and crossed her own legs again. Obediently, both her own and Vicki’s obeyed. "Omigod," she gaped.
Both Karen and Vicki burst out laughing, clutching each other. "I was wondering what would happen with those!" she gasped.
"Does that mean when you put me back together, you have to include these?" She ran a finger down Vicki’s leg; it felt like she was running a finger down her own. "Is that even possible?"
Karen gestured at herself and her twin’s conjoined form. "Hey, I’ve never seen a magic trick do this! Why don’t we try it out?"
Jessica shrugged with a grin. "Sure, we’ve gone this far!"
Jessica struggled out of skirt and then pulled the jeans off of Vicki's abandoned lower half. When she was done, the twins picked Jessica’s top half up and put it in the appropriate box. They did the same with Vicki’s legs and then stacked Jessica’s legs on top. The restoration wasn’t as pleasurable as the division, but the result more than made up for it as Jessica felt warmth spread from two pussies instead of one.
The twins helped Jessica out of the sawing box and held her while she got used of standing on four legs, then slowly backed away. "How does it feel?" Karen asked.
Concentrating, she walked forward a few steps. She could feel her ass brush up against the pussy of Vicki’s lower half. "I could get used of this," she smiled. "Sitting down is going to be interesting, though."
"Well, they’re yours if you want them," Vicki shrugged.
"Yeah, we’ve always wanted to be Siamese twins," Karen said. "We’d like to stay this way."
"That’s ridiculous," Jessica scoffed. "You’d never be able to explain it to your parents."
Both sisters shrugged. "So?" they said in unison.
"What about college? You’re starting this year!"
"Overrated," Karen snorted.
"Besides, we could always join up with a traveling sideshow," Vicki said. "Bet they’d love to have us?"
"What about me?" Jessica demanded. "I can’t walk around with two lower halves!"
"So don’t," came the stereo reply. "Just remove a pair when you go out!"
Jessica threw up her hands. "Look, this is silly. How are you two going to explain to the people at the hotel when you go back? I didn't see any suitcases, so I assume you two have checked into one."
The twins’ mouths opened for a moment and then closed them. Vicki looked at Karen. "She’s got a point there."
Karen sniffed. "No she doesn’t. We just wait for another shift; they’ll never know."
Jessica sighed to herself. This was going to be a long weekend. She hoped Anthony was having a good time, at least…
