The conclusion to the Multiform Maiden tale! What a happy ending! They still have a lot to work on as a couple, but time heals all wounds.

Some notes about how shapeshifters work in this story, just since I couldn't write in all the details I wanted to, or I think I can explain stuff better here:

Shapeshifters don't have to worry about conservation of mass or energy. They can make themselves super huge or super tiny, and be fine.

Shapeshifters can make anything they understand at a general level. So, you can't really make your arm turn into a nuclear reactor unless you understand how those work.

Shapeshifters can only change themselves. If they turn part of themselves into a separate object, they can't change it anymore. A way around this is to stay connected to the object, like having a thread go from clothing they are wearing to their body.

There is only one exception to that final rule, a shapeshifter can change someone that they have fallen deeply, truly in love with.
