[CW: Non-con, Deception]
Aurelia looked over to her girlfriend and sighed. “You know I won’t be able to turn you back, right? Possibly ever. You’d be stuck that way.”
Agni sighed in response and shrugged. “What other option do we have? Those loan sharks are pounding at the door every day, and one of these days they won’t take our excuses any longer. We have to pay them, so at least this way one of us can be safe afterwards.”
Aurelia frowned, looking away. “It just… doesn’t seem fair.”
“Yeah, well it’s not!” Aurelia was surprised as Agni laughed instead of sounding angry. “So that means you need to get to work figuring out how to rescue me and get me changed back to human, got it Miss Fancy Witch?”
Aurelia looked stunned for a moment before laughing along with Agni. “Alright, it’s a deal.” She stood up, facing her soon-to-be former lover. “Like we agreed, a statue made of solid gold should be enough to clear our debt. So… take your pose, sweetie…”
Agni got up off the bed and shucked her clothes. Her lithe body stepped into the center of the pentagram drew on their hotel room floor. She had fit the punk aesthetic well, with short spiky purple hair, a wealth of piercings on her body adorning her sex and breasts along with her face, and usually wearing baggy dark clothing. Now she stood in the pentagram, exposed to the world with nothing more than her piercings and a thick, spiked black collar on her throat.
Aurelia looked at the book in her lap. She was a witch, her magical power passed down to her when her mother died, just as her mother received her powers when Aurelia’s grandmother passed away. She cleared her throat, and started the incantation. Unearthly words of a language unimaginable filled the air, each syllable stayed audible longer than it naturally should have in such a small room. There seemed to be a strange buzzing in the room, like an electrical hum that kept building in intensity.
Agni took her pose, feeling static electricity discharging between her limbs as she moved. She crossed her legs, pushing her modest chest upward and tilting her head back, while her arms were straight back behind her, as if she had been leaning against something. She found it surprisingly easy to hold such a pose, and barely tilted her head to the side.
“I love you, Aurelia!”
Aurelia looked over to Agni, smiling and nodding but unable to stop her chanting. Agni took her pose again, her body already becoming far more rigid than a normal human. Agni focused on her breathing, minimizing how much she let her chest move as she took in air. Her feet had gone numb, and the tingling crawling up her legs told her that there wasn’t much time left for her humanity. She took some deep breaths, getting ready for any of them to be her last once the changes reached far enough to solidify her lungs.
Then, out of nowhere, a key jiggled in the lock of the door, and it swung open to reveal a gentleman dressed in a fine suit.
For a long moment Agni panicked, her body already too frozen to move or call for help, instead her eyes barely being able to look at the intruder. Fortunately, he moved into sight in front of her, and she could see that he looked like the loan shark that had been hounding her and Aurelia for money. Aurelia stopped the incantation, and the tingling line held at the base of Agni’s ribs, her diaphragm solidified enough to make breathing a laborious chore.
“What are you doing here?!” Aurelia cried out. “We had a plan Fenris, and you just fucked it all up!”
Fenris wasn’t the name of the mobster that was coming to beat them to a pulp today, but it was definitely looking like the same person. With the spell stopped and her body frozen, Agni could only watch the scene as it unfolded in front of her.
“You said you’d have her done an hour ago, and you’re just getting started? Don’t tell me you’re getting soft, Aurey.”
Aurelia practically growled at the pet name. “You know the spell works better when she is willing, and that doesn’t always happen on a timeframe. But now you’ve fucked it all up, and she has figured out we’re working together!” She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. “Now this is going to take even longer.”
Fenris shrugged, tossing an envelope at Aurelia. “Drop your Veil. It’s weird seeming you look like that.”
She gave a glance at the large manilla envelope that she had just caught, and then tossed it to the bed, and then mumbled a couple words to herself and snapped her fingers. Agni watched in perplexed mystery as Aurelia’s body began to shift and change. Agni was a short woman, barely five feet tall, and had been thrilled to find a partner that was shorter than her by nearly six inches. That apparently was a lie, however, as Aurelia grew past the height of Agni, and was towering over her from what Agni could only guess was over six feet tall. Aurelia looked exceptionally lanky, her body still working off the mass of being much shorter, until she started to fill out. Her face was rounder than Agni had ever seen it, having a bit more fullness than the stark and angular one she had adorned with kisses not long ago.
Aurelia towered over Agni, still standing nearby for the spell they had been casting moments ago. Given the height difference and the angles they were standing at, it was easy to watch as Aurelia’s flat chest - similar in size to Agni’s, and had been a source of bonding for the pair over their diminished chests - grew rapidly. Aurelia was wearing a black t-shirt that had been baggy and loose on her, but now was already stretched tight over her larger frame. Now with the addition of generous breasts, the shirt was now closer to resembling a sleeved sports bra trying its best to contain her DD cup chest. Her navel now exposed, Agni watched as Aurelia’s belly piercing faded away, presumably with any other piercings she wasn’t able to see.
Agni looked back up at Aurelia’s face and gasped; it bore almost no resemblance to the girl she had been dating. Instead of a punk with aggressive makeup and short hair, now Aurelia looked like she was a model, with delicate makeup and long flowing blonde hair tucked behind her pointed ears.
A quick glance at Fenris gave Agni a glimpse of his pointed ears. She struggled to understand what was going on and who - or what - these people were. Fenris brushed his hair back and stood, heading toward the door. “Well, enough of this. Finish her up quickly, and get ready for your next assignment in that folder there.” With that, he was gone, leaving Agni and Aurelia in the room.
Aurelia sighed, shaking her head. “I guess you have some questions. Well, the spell isn’t going to let you ask them. It’s not reversible either, if you were wondering. Unless you let it finish, that is.” Aurelia paced back and forth. “It’s stuck until you agree to the changes again. If you don’t… well, you can’t eat or drink anymore, so…”
Agni fumed internally, but her face remained as tranquil as she had posed. She had been lied to and betrayed! She thought she had found true love, a perfect soulmate, but now she knew it had all been a shame.
“We’ve done this a few times. Turn a girl into something we can sell, Fenris and I. Today was your turn, life-sized solid gold statue.” Aurelia sat down on the bed, looking up at Agni. “I did love you, you know. It’s just… you wouldn’t understand my life.”
Internally, Agni started to calm down a little. Aurelia seemed at least genuinely sympathetic, and the idea it could be reversed once she had finished the change helped smooth it over in her mind. She gasped her last though as the spell restarted, her toes becoming cold while the stiff numbness crawled over her lungs and heart, slowing her mind down drastically.
Out of the corner of her eye, Aurelia noticed the new gold shine on Agni’s toes. She tried not to pay it much attention. “Well, since you’re going to be a statue now, I might as well tell you my story.”
“I’m an elf, and I’m currently about five hundred and thirty-something years old. Between elven calendars and human calendars, they change too frequently for me to keep track, and it doesn’t really matter anyway. Us elves live forever, unless something kills us. But in the modern human world, we really don’t have any natural enemies, so we can just survive - so long as we keep our heads down. Someone finds out you have magical powers and that’s it.” Aurelia gestured around her. “Hence the shitty hotel room for your change. We can use our powers and be gone from here before anyone comes looking for us.”
Agni’s chest tightened differently than a moment ago; she felt genuine concern for this woman that sat next to her. Delaying her transformation would endanger Aurelia’s life, and despite the events of that day, Agni couldn’t do that in good conscience. The changes washed up further as Agni stopped fighting the change, letting it solidify her head, stopping her thinking much at all. The gold sheen crawled up her body, overtaking her skin as she was replaced with a golden statue.
Aurelia hadn’t noticed though, having turned away from Agni. “I didn’t want to do this, I felt Fenris gave me no choice. He said it was the only way to survive. He’d always say it was us versus the humans, that we have no place in that world. I only wonder if things could have been different for us.”
The only living person in the room stood and looked at the statue, looking at it’s precise details and taking in the frozen beauty in front of her. She sighed, and turned away to begin preparing for her next case. “Of course,” she mumbled, “the first girl I told about all this I’ve turned into a piece of metal. Way to go, me.”

A tall man sat in a bar. He wore black dress pants and plain white dress shirt that did little to hide his perfectly formed muscles. The body hugging vest was just an added accent to the overall package. His hair was cut short and stood up on end, though it looked like it would be easy to massage in place for a day in the office. He checked his watch - an elegant gold pocket watch on a chain - before slipping it back into his vest pocket.
Right on cue, a gentleman sat down beside him at the bar. This new stranger eyed up the first man carefully. The first man sat back with confidence, scotch in hand. It was easy to exude confidence when your body had been magically crafted into the perfect soulmate for your target.
The man turned to the newcomer. “Hey there. My name is Aurelius, I haven’t seen you around here before, have I?”
The newcomer swallowed, stunned into near silence. “Ah, I’m Nick…” Here in front of him was the most beautiful man he’d ever met. He hadn’t been planning to meet someone - this wasn’t a gay bar or anything - but it was, love just falling into his lap.
Aurelius chuckled, patting his target on the shoulder. “No, I don’t think we’ve met! I’d remember a handsome face like yours!” Aurelius waved his hand at the crowd, as if beckoning someone close. Another man walked up, dressed and styled much like Aurelius. “I want you to meet my friend, Agnus. We’ve become really close, and I was hoping you’d join us.”
