"Why did you need me, Gardevoir?"

The Pokemon in question let out an exasperated sigh and turned to face her friend. Her dress twirled, lifting up slightly. Her perfectly styled green hair remained curled gently across her face, only one piercing eye glancing over her friend.

"I've already told you, Lopunny. I think I've found a new move, and it requires a friend I trust. Don't you trust me?"

Lopunny shuddered as her large and poofy ears drew in close to her body. "Well, of course I trust… But you're being awfully sneaky…" Lopunny's timid frame cowered, bright pink eyes darting back and forth.

"Well, of course I'm being sneaky! I wouldn't want someone to find out about this before it's ready, and possibly hurt themselves!" Gardevoir had a glint in its eye as it lead the Lopunny deeper into the forest where no one would be able to snoop on them. Of course, she had a second, more secret reason for luring the Lopunny away into the forest, but she couldn't tell the poor little rabbit girl that just yet, or she'd run off screaming. No, better to wait and let things unfold as they happened.

"Here we are!" Gardevoir exclaimed. They had a small clearing of the woods to themselves, but a ring of dense underbrush would discourage any passersby from coming this way. She rounded on her friend, staring her down. Lopunny clutched her paws to her chest, the large fluff around her wrists blurring into a singular cloud of cotton. "So, are you sure you want to help me? It only works on a friend so I need your permission to do this."

Lopunny nodded, gulping as she sealed her fate. She was slightly relieved to see Gardevoir bounce with joy, her posture relaxed.

"Wonderful! So, you remember when we watched those trainers battling from where we were hiding in a bush?" Lopunny nodded. The event was only a week ago, and was a high point of excitement in the wild Pokemon's lives. Gardevoir continued. "Well, one of them shouted 'Combination Attack!' before their Pokemon used two different moves. So I figured why not try and make my own Combination Attack. But it's a move to be used on a friend, not who you're fighting. That's why I need your help."

The Lopunny watched her friend closely. Gardevoir seemed genuine and earnest, and besides, they had been friends for years. “Alright then, let’s do it.”

An unnaturally wide grin marked Gardevoir's otherwise normally plain face. “Great! Oh this is gonna be wonderful!” Gardevoir elegantly bounced a few yards away, the skirt of her dress twirling up. “Combination Attack! Role Play, and Ally Swap!”

If one had been watching from a distance, they’d note the peculiar pairing of moves that Gardevoir had used. Both being Psychic type moves, neither were truly ‘attacks’. Role Play was a move that would allow one Pokemon to mimic their ally in battle. Ally Switch would allow them to trade places quickly and suddenly. Their combination seemed to have little effect; the two Pokemon hadn’t swapped locations, or were acting any different.

Except for Lopunny, which - after a brief moment of confusion - started patting at herself and feeling her fur in confusion. “Gardevoir, what was that supposed to do? I… I don’t feel... Something’s wrong.”

Gardevoir sauntered over to where her friend stood. Already the effects of the new move were setting in, Lopunny just hadn’t realized it yet. Gardevoir knew it wouldn’t last much longer, and began to disrobe as she approached the scared Pokemon. Her flowing white and green gown dropped to the grassy floor of the forest, revealing her seldom seen lithe feminine figure. Her delicate hand waved off her friend’s concerns.

“Now now, Lopunny. Be a good girl. I don’t want my new outfit getting wrinkled, hehe!” As if on cue, Lopunny crumpled into a pile of assorted fabrics. “Finally. I wonder if there’s a way to finish the process faster in the future.”

The materials making up the formerly-Lopunny pile were light and bouncy, made primarily of airy silks and satins. They draped over Gardevoir’s white arm as she scooped them up, waving in the faint breeze surrounding her. She leaned in, inhaling the scent of the clothes, noting how they reminded her of her friend. She laid them out, and after giving an approving nod of the style, picked up the stockings that would start the ensemble.

Lopunny’s familiar brown fur resembled warm earth, and as Gardevoir pulled the form fitting the nylon up over her legs, she noted the glowing tone in stark contrast to her normal pale gray. She wriggled her toes inside the enclosed feet of the stockings, feeling them rub against the interior of her former friend’s feet. She slid up the basic black panties and the matching bra. She couldn’t help but note how her friend’s bouncy personality seemed to confer a similar bounce into her chest, as it swayed and moved more than usual.

Her undergarments sorted out, Gardevoir looked over the rest of the outfit to decide what her next treat would be. Of course, her leggings would be next. She slid the velvety soft material up her calves, savoring the delicious smoothness. They perfectly hid her thighs into the womanly curves normally found on Lopunny herself, and as Gardevoir wriggled her toes inside the satin material she smiled.

The stockings were too perfect to ruin with the dirt forest floor. A strange concept for a wild Pokemon, but here she was half-dressed and not wanting to throw the moment away. It had to be perfect. The boots were clearly  the next step, then. Slipping her brown-clad toes past the fur surrounding the opening of the boot, Gardevoir slowly pushed her leg into the leather boot. The walls of the boot caressed and gripped her legs, only allowing them to pass as a result of the frictionless leggings she wore. The second boot was adorned much the same way. Gardevoir teetered awkwardly on the small inch high heels of the boots until she caught her balance. The fur ring atop the boot was the only part that hung limply, creating a bounce as she stepped and walked in the clearing.

It was perfect, and in Gardevoir’s opinion, could only get better with more clothing. She aggressively snapped up the coat that draped across a nearby log, claiming it’s soft velvet as she held it against her bare skin. She opened each button delicately, watching as it opened before her. Her friend’s insides, reduced and converted by the Combination Attack into fabrics for her to wear. A moment of sadness flashed through her heart, quickly replaced with a surge of intimacy and passion. Her friend would be the best outfit to ever be worn, custom tailored just for her. That was the greatest way they could ever be connected together.

Gardevoir slipped her arms into the soft sleeves of the jacket, finding a smooth silk insert.  Her hands became snagged, temporarily caught and unable to free itself. She panicked, fighting with the material as she tried to understand why it wouldn’t fit until suddenly her fingertips burst through. Her arm dragged along some of the inner silk sleeve, and it perfectly coated her arm up to her wrist. It was designed perfectly like this, with the fur cuff of the sleeve hanging around her elbow. Being slower, Gardevoir managed to fit her hand through the opening in the inner sleeve with ease.

The jacket seemed to have tack back buttons stringing across the front, and Gardevoir quickly pulled each close. The collar laid flat against her collarbone, and the hem of the dress remained fluffed and lifted gently away from her hips. It swirled and bounced as she moved, and it dawned on Gardevoir that it perfectly captured the flowing and bouncing nature of Lopunny.

There wasn’t much left to put on, and as Gardevoir lifted the remaining bundle she noticed the last wisps of fabric were all connected to a singular hat. She placed the boudoir cap over her perfectly styled green curl of hair, and smiled as it sat snug against her forehead. Long flowing ribbons had composed the bulk of the remaining fabric, and they hung behind Gardevoir’s head. She rolled her head from side to side, marveling as the brown translucent fabric shifted into a cream colored end. It looked like Lopunny’s ears, but a perfect clothing version.

Gardevoir pranced about in the forest enjoying her new attire she made from her new friend. Was it possible to change her back? Possibly, Gardevoir figured. But why? Why would Gardevoir lose such a beautiful outfit? No, no. That would be ludicrous. Lopunny was gone, as far as it mattered to Gardevoir. The only question left would be… who’s next?
