Playing with an idea that cropped up in an older story. The Zappy 2000 was first introduced in Absence, one of various items Katrina considered buying. But what if the cheapest thing on the market was the best you could afford?

The story wanders a little, and I'm not sure if it's worth continuing. I kind of like the ending, but I'd also like to see how they handle themselves. Any opinions?
