Leona suppressed a yawn as she approached the office door.  To her surprise, it was locked.  She was still digging for her keys when Barbara rushed up and opened the door.  “Sorry.”

Lenoa giggled as she followed Barbara into the office.  “Good night?”

Barbara blushed.  “The very best.”

“Is Colleen still happy as a snake?”

Barbara set her purse down at her desk, and started her computer booting up.  “Oh yes.  When I left she was curled up on the bed, and shaped herself into a heart when I told her I loved her.”

“Aww, that’s so sweet.  Jean just turned me into ribbons.  Oooh, and then after that, I ended up slurped into her boobs.  So amazing.”

Barbara smiled openly.  “I’m glad you’re having fun again.  Didn’t any of that trip your fears?”

Leona shook her head emphatically.  “Boobs never stop moving, even when their owner is just lying there, still.  There’s a heartbeat, and the rise and fall of their breath...  It was perfect.  Helpless, but so alive.”

“Have you told Jean that, yet?”

Leona shook her head.  “But only because she was still asleep when I got going today.  We’ll definitely talk about it tonight.  I might want to dive right back in.  Hopefully we have a quiet day.”

“Don’t jinx it.”

Leona immediately apologized, but the damage was done.  It was perhaps inevitable that the day after Valentine’s Day would be especially busy, several new clients came in wanting pre-nuptial agreements drawn up, and one divorce proceeding suddenly became much more complicated.  Leona had little time to mull over the events of the past evening, she was too busy.

And then Mr. Ellison showed up.  Leona had dealt with him before, he was an older man who ran several businesses in town, and used her father’s firm for all his legal dealings.  He was one of their more regular clients, and in the few months Leon had been working at the firm, he’d dealt with Mr. Ellison several times, always quite cordially.

So it was a shock to see the snarl of distaste on Mr. Ellison’s face when he walked into Leona’s office.  “What is this animal doing here?”

Leona wanted to snarl right back at him but instead she schooled her expression.  “I am currently the person running this law office in my father’s absence.  I could pass your case on to any of the other lawyers here, but they’re all quite busy, and might not be able to handle it until some time next week.”

Her client sputtered and grumbled.  She caught a few impolite words, and then started to grin.  “Yes, I am, and my wife very much appreciates it.  But that’s not relevant to the case at hand.  Do you want me to handle your paperwork?”

Mr. Ellison sighed and took a seat.  “I need this handled today.”

Leona nodded sharply, all professionalism.  “Then let us get into it.”

They had a productive discussion of the contract issue Mr. Ellison needed to resolve, and despite the occasional hostile look he was otherwise reasonably polite.  When he got up to leave, he thanked her for her assistance.  “I just... why?”

Leona pursed her lips.  “I have no obligation to answer that.  But I will.  It’s actually very simple.  I love this shape.  More than I can adequately express.  It feels like ... like finally finding a home, after living in a series of nice but not-you rentals.  I had the chance to explore being many things, and this was by far the best.”

Mr. Ellison nodded slowly.  “I don’t understand, exactly.  I’ve never felt uncomfortable as me, though... I mean, if I could be a little younger, a little more muscular, I might...”

Leona grinned at him. “My sister offers a magical alteration service.  She could set you up with your dream body.”

He stumbled back a pace, then darted out of her office.

Barbara stuck her head in a moment later.  “Sorry about that one, kid.  I’ve been trying to keep the bigots off your back.”

Leona waved off the concern.  “It’s fine.  Better than fine.  I think he might be a convert, given some time to come to grips with the idea.  I bet he’ll be asking how to reach Robin before too long.”

Barbara chuckled.  “I’d rather not bet against you on that one.  He’ll be a girl before the end of the month.”

“A girl, or a vixen?” asked Leona with a big grin.

“Oooh.  It wouldn’t take much of a nudge to get him there.  Is Robin taking clients?  I have a certain snake that I’d really like to see human again.  Or at least able to talk.”

“Talking is useful, yes.  You two have a lot to talk about.  We can take care of it tonight if you like.”

“Is Robin open for business, then?” asked Stacey from just outside Leona’s office.

“I guess so.  We haven’t figured out anything about how to run it...”

“So it would be good to start with some friendly faces,” concluded Barbara.  “Tonight, then.  About eight, so you have time for dinner and to tidy up a little?”

“We’re going to need to set up appointments, aren’t we...  Sure, eight should be fine.  I’ll tell the others.”

*** *** ***

Leona bounced eagerly through the door when she got home, and dashed over to hug her wife as soon as she’d hung up her jacket and taken off her shoes.  “Thank you so much for last night, that was perfect.”

Jean hugged her sweetie tight.  “Oh good.  I tried to be careful about it and keep you moving, and then I fell asleep while you were still boobs.”

“I loved being your boobs, even while you slept.  They’re always moving as you breathe, and I could feel your heart beating under me.”

“Oooh?  Really?  So if I slurped you into my boobs I wouldn’t have to worry about you at all?”

Leona’s ears perked at the idea, and her tail swished enthusiastically.  “Oh yeah...”  But then as her arms started to slide away into Jean’s breasts she tugged back.  “But not quite yet.  We’ll have guests at eight.  Robin’s first three clients.”

“So... dinner, then guests... then boobs?”

Leona purred happily.  “Sounds delightful.”

At Jean’s urging, Leona used the ring to shift to her four foot tall maid-Leona form and put on the matching uniform.  She helped tidy up the kitchen while Jean finished preparing dinner, then ate with the others.  Once dinner was done, she went right back to work cleaning up.  The kitchen was soon spotless, so she snuggled up beside Jean on the couch and watched the fire, purring softly as she was petted.

They were still there when the doorbell rang.  Leona bounded off to answer it, finding Barbara at the door with her sweetie-snake Colleen snuggled around her and wrapped in a blanket.  “Welcome to Alterations by Robin.  Your transformatrix will be with you shortly.”

Barbara chuckled as she entered.  “Transformatrix?  Really?”

“Shapeshifting consultant?” suggested Leon.  “Shiftygirl?  Squiggle?  She’ll probably be the latter...”

Robin wriggled into the room on a mass of leg tentacles, though her upper half looked entirely human.  She was wearing a plain blue blouse in an effort to look at least somewhat professional.  “Hi!  So what’s the plan for today?”

Barbara helped Colleen out of her blanket, then Leona helped carry the golden snake over to the couch, where she curled up demurely.  Barbara sat beside her after divesting herself of her coat.  “I’d very much like her to be able to talk.  The rest is... negotiable.”

Colleen flashed her a snaky grin and bobbed her head in a nod.

“Right, then.”  Robin perched on the couch on the other side of Colleen, two of her tentacles wrapping around the snake’s tail.  She sat still for a moment, then said, “How’s that?”

“But she didn’t change,” protested Barbara.

Colleen flicked her tongue out, showing that it was human-shaped, instead of forked.  “It felt like something... oh!  I can talk now?”

“Yep.  Minimalist update so you can speak.  Ribbon?” asked Robin.

“Please.”

As before, Colleen tugged the ribbon off shortly after it had been tied around her body.  “There.”

“So you want to stay as a snake?” asked Barbara, studying her sweetie and trying to keep her expression neutral, but failing.

“Yes!  It has been amazing,” gushed Colleen before she saw Barbara’s reaction.  “Oh, sweetie, not forever but... for long enough to start getting a little sick of it.”

“How long do you think that’ll take?” asked Robin.

“Haven’t a clue,” replied Colleen cheerfully.  “First time trying this and all.  There are... frustrations to not having hands.  I did manage to turn my e-book reader on and use it, so it’s not all bad.”

“I could give you arms and hands.  Maybe even just one hand on the end of your tail?”

Colleen contemplated it, looking back and forth between Barbara and Robin.  Then she continued shaking her head as she said, “No, going to go pure snake for a while.  I’d really like to get to the point where I don’t want to be a snake.”

“Why?” asked Leona.  “I get looking for a form you like, but this feels like the opposite.”

Colleen curled up tighter and leaned up against Barbara.  “I hated being me.  I don’t know how much of that was being female, or how much was wanting other things.”

“That sounds awful!” exclaimed Jean, sitting up and nearly dislodging Leona from her drape over her lap.  A quick mew from Leona got her back to skritching.

“It was.  Some of the time.  I did have a lot of days where I was happy enough being a woman, don’t get me wrong.  But after the judge ruled I had to be a woman it just... ugh.  Made it ten times worse.”

“Ick.  Well, you’re a snake now, and can stay that way as long as you like,” Robin said reassuringly.  She petted Colleen with a tentacle.  “Whether that’s an hour, a week, or a year.  We’ll still be here.”

The doorbell rang, and Leona scampered off to greet Stacey.  “Hi!  Barbara and Colleen are already here but I think they’re wrapping up.  Just visiting, or are you here to sample Robin’s services?”

Stacey grinned a little too brightly.  “Definitely the latter, but if we could pretend it was just a visit to start that might help settle my nerves.”

“Bah,” Leona said with a dismissive wave of a paw.  “Nothing to be nervous about.  Everything can be completely temporary.”

Stacey eyed the petite cat-woman.  “You’re not looking much like you do at work, and presumably Robin has the ring...”

Leona touched the ribbon tied around her neck.  “As long as I don’t untie this, I’ll be able to change back easily.  But, honestly, turning into Leona-prime is as easy as breathing even without the ribbon.”  Leona tugged at the knot in the ribbon, then shook her head.  “Come on, let me introduce you around.”

After Leona had introduced Stacey to Jean, Robin, Barbara and Colleen, Stacey asked where Carrie-Lee was.  “Hanging in the closet” was not the answer she expected.

“You can turn people into clothes?” she asked in wonder.  “I was just ...”  She pulled the portfolio she’d been carrying more tightly against her chest, then sat down abruptly in one of the overstuffed chairs.  “Really?”

Jean hopped out of the loveseat and draped herself on the arm of the couch beside Robin.  “You know she’ll need a demonstration.”

Robin rested a tentacle on Jean’s arm, and soon she was dwindling into a pile of wool.  Robin shook it out to show it was a long tube.  “Snakes need clothing too.  Shall we send you home with this, Colleen?”

Both Colleen and Stacey’s eyes were wide open.  “You’d do that?” asked Colleen.  “Why?”

“It’s fun to be worn, and nobody’s been worn by a snake yet.  You could start a trend!”

“But... Leona’s wife!”

Leona shrugged.  “She’ll be having fun.  And we can bring out another clone easily enough.”

Colleen shook her head.  “Let’s not cross the streams.  You guys have your fun, we’ll have ours.”

Robin nodded, and pulled her tentacle away from the snake-tube.  Jean reformed quickly, and patted Robin’s tentacles.  “That was fun.”

“It was?” asked Stacey.  “How?”

Jean smiled at her brightly.  “All wiggly and warm.  Would have been even more wiggly if I’d been worn, but... mmm, I can think of another snake that’ll need a warm coat.  We’ll try that later.”

Robin giggled.  “Cool.  You’d look cute on C-L.  Hey Leona, want to be a squiggle’s coat to match?”

“Only if Barbara’s sticking around.  But from the looks they’re exchanging...”

Barbara smiled and nodded.  “We should get going, and give Stacey room to explore all the ideas tumbling through her head.”

“Want a change for yourself before you go?” asked Robin.

Barbara considered the request, stroking Colleen’s head softly as she did so.  Her snaky sweetie purred at the attention.   “I think we are best served by someone staying... stable.  For now.  Until Colleen finds her legs... er, if she wants them.  I like who I am well enough.”

“Offer’s open anytime.”

Barbara inclined her head in acknowledgement, then rose from the couch with Colleen in her arms.  Leona saw them off, then returned to the living room.  “So.  What do you want to be, hmm?”

Stacey unzipped her portfolio then squeaked in embarrassment when the contents fell out, scattering dozens of sketches to the floor.  She scrambled to pick them up.  One was pinned to the floor by one of Robin’s tentacles but when she looked up to ask Robin to move she squeaked again.  “Oh, don’t look at them please.”

Robin shook her head. “This is amazing.  Don’t hide it.”

Stacey looked back down at the sketch Robin was touching.  “Oh no.  I didn’t mean to show that one...”

“But it’s fantastic!  I’d wear it in a heartbeat.  Might take longer than that to get all the straps arranged, though.  How does it go on?”

Stacey stared down at the clothing sketch.  It consisted of leather straps and lace panels and looked halfway between a ballgown and bondage gear.  “Uh... with help.  A lot of... help.”

Robin smiled.  “Fantasy of yours?  Wearing, putting it on someone else... or worn?”

“Worn?” squeaked Stacey.

“Oooh, this will be fun.”

Robin brushed a tentacle against Stacey’s hand, and the woman crumpled into leather and lace.  She made a peculiar noise between a squeak and a sigh as she dwindled.

“I’m not sure that’s what she meant,” Leona commented uncertainly.

Jean crouched beside the new dress.  “It wouldn’t hurt to keep her like this long enough to try her on, would it?”

Leona stood up from the loveseat and hugged her wife.  “Let’s hear it from her, first.  Let her change back.”

Robin pouted but relented.  Soon Stacey was human again, all tangled up in her clothes.  Jean helped her get her dress on right then went back to sit with Leona.  “Well?  Do you want to be worn?”

Stacey was still clutching her bra in her hands.  “Did that really happen?”

“Yes,” replied Robin.  “You were a dress for half a minute.  You should be back to normal.”

Stacey laughed.  “Normal?  How can I be normal after that?”

“Normal isn’t expected around here,” replied Leona.  “Be yourself.  Whatever that might be.”

“And if I want to be worn?” whispered Stacey.

“Robin would be glad to change you again.  Who do you want to wear you?”

Stacey glanced at Leona and shook her head, considered Jean for longer then turned to Robin.  “Her.”

“The tentacles might necessitate some redesign,” mused Robin.  “I think I get the theme well enough, or do you have ideas?”

Stacey grabbed a pencil and pad from her portfolio and started sketching.  She and Robin went back and forth on the design for several minutes.  “Ok, I think we have a winner.  Ready to change?” asked Robin.

“Oh!  No.  Not at all.”

“Aww.  Too terrifying?  We could tone it down... I promise I won’t restore C-L and make out with her while wearing you.”

“Is that supposed to make me feel better?”

Robin shrugged.  “I want to clarify what’s okay once you’re being worn.  Is making out okay?  Going further?”

“Robin!” protested Stacey, blushing brightly.  “I don’t want to be part of your sexual games.”

“Do you want to be part of someone else’s?”

Stacey blushed even worse, but nodded.  “I... haven’t told him about any of this.  I didn’t even know about this, how could I?”

“What exactly is ‘this’?” asked Leona.

“I don’t know.  Yet.”  Stacey turned back to face Robin and offered her hand.  “Do it.”

“Are you sure?”

“Hell no.  Do it anyway.  I have to know.”  Stacey scooped up one of Robin’s tentacles and squeezed it.  “Please?”

“Your wish is my command.  Become a dress!” pronounced Robin, and then melted Stacey against her.  The other woman flowed out of her dress as black ribbons of fabric and collected around Robin as the dress.

Robin maintained her concentration as she turned to face her brother and his wife.  “What do you think?”

Leona stared at her sister gape-jawed.  “You look hot.”

“Leona...” Jane started, then shook her head.  “No, you’re right.  Damn.  If it wasn’t for Leon’s hangups...”

Robin chuckled warmly.  “Not sure she’s hung up any more.”  She slithered closer to Leona.  “Well?  Want to give my new dress a real show?”

Leona stood from the loveseat and bit her lip.  She turned to look at Jean, who made ‘go on’ motions.  “Just dancing,” she said.  “Absolutely no further.”

Robin cheered, and soon they were swirling about the living room floor.  Jean put on their bellydancing music, and all three of them had fun with it.  Robin’s ability to undulate was unmatched, and both Leona and Jean stopped dancing to stare in awe.

When the song finished, they both applauded loudly, startling Robin enough that she lost focus.  Stacey reformed caught up in her tentacles, and Robin moved off of the now-naked woman apologetically.  Jean grabbed Stacey’s dress and draped it over the flushed woman.

“Well?” asked Robin after the silence had gone on too long.

“How... how do you ever end up... human?” panted Stacey.

Robin looked immensely pleased with herself.  “Some of us spend very little time human.  What would you like to be?  Shall we send you home as a bundle of leather and lace?”

Stacey snorted and shook her head.  “Nobody there to wear it.  Bill would love to see me wearing that, though.  I don’t suppose you could turn a non-person into that dress?”

Robin touched a tentacle to Stacey’s dress and it wove itself around her body.  “Of course.  Did you particularly like that dress, or would you mind if it became... this?”

Stacey wriggled, arms bound behind her back.  “I might need help getting home, but... yes please.”

Leona fetched a ribbon and soon the dress was permanently changed.  Stacey hyperventilated a little when she saw how easily that was done, and asked what would happen if they’d done the same to her.  They told her how that ribboned clothing retains its mind, but once the ribbon was removed they become nearly mindless – only able to remember events after the fact.

Stacey tried to claim she found the idea terrifying, but she couldn’t quite get the words out.

“Next time,” said Robin with a grin.  “Once you’ve had more time for the idea to percolate, we can send you home as something pretty.”

“I’d need to find someone to wear me.  Or... maybe someone to wear?”

“Bring them along, and if you can get them to agree... we’ll do it.”

“Just like that?” asked Stacey, half breathless.

Robin wriggled a little closer, almost nose to nose with the bound woman.  “Just.  Like...”  She snapped her fingers, and Stacey squeaked again.  “That.  Sure you don’t want to spend the night wrapped around me?”

Stacey shook her head and took a deep breath.  “No.  I have someone to go home to and I’m really looking forward to showing off for him.”

Leona nodded, and held her hand out to Robin.  “Pass over the ring so I can go back to my proper self to drive Stacey home.”

Once Leona was her proper self once more, they organized the convoy – Jean would drive their car to get Leona home.  Before long, Leona was parking Stacey’s car in the parking lot of one of the nicer apartment buildings in town.  “You’re sure you’ll be okay?”

“Yeah, Bill’s a sweetie.  And if I have to, I can wriggle out of this.  It just spoils the look.”

Leona chuckled softly.  “Be safe, okay?”

“Yes Mom.”

That drew a louder laugh.  Leona escorted Stacey to her door, and left when she saw it open.

Stacey made a show of hobbling into the apartment as her boyfriend watched, pretending she was barely able to walk.  She waited for the door to close, then swayed in place dramatically.  He rushed to catch her, and carried her to the couch.  “Are you okay?”

“Never better.  So... what do you think?”

Bill took a step back and studied the figure on the couch, covered in straps and lace.  “You look awfully helpless.  Some kind of BDSM fantasy?”

“I thought you’d like this look.  You don’t want me helpless?”

“Well... willing is the big one.  Works on that front.”

Stacey harrumphed.  “I was hoping for...”

“What, exactly?  Me to turn into some kind of ravening beast, throw you over my shoulder and carry you off to bed?”

“YES!”

Bill laughed.  “Oh!  I get it now.”  He flexed expertly to show off his muscular physique.  “Rar, me horny.”

“Oh my God,” Stacey started giggling.

“Aw, now who’s spoiling it?”

“Goober.”

Bill scooped her up in a fireman’s carry and headed toward the bedroom.  “Goober who loves you, kinky fetishes and all.”

“Good, because I haven’t told you the half of it yet...”
