“Hey Dad, you wanted to see our magical contract, right?”
Heather’s father looked up from his paper. “Yes, if you’re willing and able to show it.”
Heather spread out the magical document that bound her with her loves, and turned it to face him. “Can you see this? I’m not sure which bits of magic are visible to people without a RealityPlus.”
He shook his head. “Just empty space.”
“Bother...” Heather studied it. “There must be some way.”
“You could write it out on paper.”
“Or...” Heather summoned up a piece of paper from her room and impressed the contract onto it. “Now can you read it?”
Her father nodded, and started working through the wording. As she watched him do so, Heather noticed a glitter of magic from the paper. Studying it, she realized she’d transferred the actual contract to the paper. She wondered what that implied. Would damaging the paper end the contract? Did it empower it somehow?
“Can I add some suggestions to this?” asked Mr. Marten.
“It might be better to do that separately. That paper is the contract, now. It shouldn’t be possible to change it without agreement from the three of us, but I’m worried it could be more vulnerable like this.”
“We could do a very simple test. Something that wouldn’t have a large impact.”
Heather glanced down at her clothes, and wondered briefly if they’d agree. “I suppose. Maybe change the two hour clause to three?”
Her father read over the relevant part. “I see. And it only applies to you, so your sweeties won’t be affected either way.” He wrote in the word three, and crossed out the two. Both changes glowed faintly, as did the signatures at the bottom of the contract.
“It appears it will still enforce your editing clause. But this way we could mark up all the changes you three want to make, and it would be easy to see what is different.”
Heather poked her clothes awake, and unmuted them. “Hey guys. Do you agree to this contract change?”
“Yes,” said her top in Moira’s voice, followed by Flint from her skirt.
Mr. Marten raised an eyebrow at that. “And are you two in your right minds, if not your right bodies?”
Moira giggled. “Yep. This is pretty cozy, though. I’d like to stay this way.”
“I would prefer it if you didn’t, at least to sign...”
“Just for the three hour change?” asked Moira. “I accept.” Her signature on the contract went dark.
Flint echoed her statement, and the same thing happened. When Heather signed the contract, the edits became part of the text, instead of an annotation.
“Well, isn’t that clever,” said Heather’s father. “Does it retain a history of the changes?”
Heather poked at it, then shook her head. “Not that I can see. I suppose we could photocopy this version if we wanted a record.”
“Fair. Are you happy with the current terms, or did you want to discuss updating it, too? Other than the one clause where you auto-restore but they don’t, it seems quite equitable.”
“And we can’t have that,” piped up Moira. “Heather is the center of this triangle, and the contract should properly reflect that. Can we change it so that Heather can change us anywhere? Flint got stuck as a bra for a while because we were out and about and couldn’t change her.”
“Her?” asked Heather’s father.
“Well, bras aren’t male...”
“Nor are skirts,” added Flint. “I’m happy being female. Though when I was a mindless bra, I was very much an ‘it’.”
Heather glanced over at her father. “For Dad’s benefit, why are you saying that like it’s a good thing?”
“Because it means being completely, totally yours. I like this idea of you getting to change us whenever and wherever. Can I sign for it already?”
“You should be human for that,” said Mr. Marten, using every bit of Dad-voice he could muster.
There was much grumbling from both Flint and Moira, neither wanted to change back. Heather sighed at the look from her father, and headed downstairs to the carpet that marked her current seat of power. Soon all three were back upstairs, and Flint was even male.
“Right bodies. Can’t promise right minds, these two are still addled by...”
“Love for you,” finished Moira. “Being wrapped around you is wonderful.”
Heather smiled at her warmly. “I know, I’ve been there. But we can’t all be clothes, who’d wear us?”
“More to the point, ‘being clothing’ isn’t exactly a career choice,” noted Heather’s father. “It might seem like fun now, but is that really how you want to spend the rest of your life?”
“Yes,” replied Moira without hesitation.
Flint shrugged. “I don’t have a better offer on the table. Flunked out of college, no real prospects.”
Heather’s father tried to argue the whole work hard and claw your way up the ladder perspective, but it was a losing battle. “Don’t you want a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day?”
Flint chuckled warmly and cast his gaze at Heather. “I get that from being a good, supportive bra. Or a pretty dress.”
“But what have you accomplished?”
“Making Heather look pretty, of course. You should try it before you knock it, spend a few hours as your wife’s bra and you’ll see what I mean.”
“Pass. Besides, I’m not the one that needs to understand both sides. How about I pay you to mow the lawn?”
Flint wasn’t sure he saw the point, but allowed himself to be talked into the idea when Mr. Marten offered to pay him enough to take his sweeties out to the movies.
An hour later he was done, and did agree that the lawn looked much better with a good trim. “I’m still not sure I see the point, though.”
Heather’s father shrugged. “Maybe see it as part of the whole experience, working and benefiting from the fruit of your labours.” He pulled out his wallet and handed Flint the agreed upon sum.
“Hey you two, ready for our movie date?” called Flint.
Moira wrinkled her nose at Flint. “You need a shower first.”
“Dibs on washcloth!” Heather called out, then giggled.
Moira shook her head. “No thanks.”
“Nice fluffy towel for afterward?” asked Flint, grinning at her encouragingly.
“I...” Moira glanced over at Heather, who was also grinning and making encouraging gestures. “Eh, sure. But you better change into a girl before using me.”
“I’ll make sure you’re nice and cozy.”
Moira’s glare didn’t faze Flint in the least. “That wasn’t a promise.”
Flint tried on his best innocent look, shrinking slightly to look cuter. “You’ll be fully inanimate. Just a towel. Towels don’t get to choose.”
Moira bit her lip, glanced at Heather again. “You know you want to share the shower with us,” Heather encouraged. “It’ll be fun! And you know the whole jealousy thing goes away when you’re not human.”
That got a sigh and a wan smile. “What the hell.”
“Yay! Superduper fluffy toweldom awaits!”
Moira chuckled. “Why didn’t you say that to start with?”
“Ooh, is that what it takes?” asked Flint. “Turning you into something super special? No, that’s not it. Something wonderful and loved.”
Moira ran from the room. Puzzled, Heather and Flint followed, only to find her sitting in Flint’s box. “What?” she asked when they both looked at her. “Just do it already.”
Flint snapped his fingers and where Moira had been there was now an enormous, thick and fluffy towel, the same bright red as Moira’s hair. He scooped up the towel and purred. “Oooh, it’s even better than I thought. Feel it.”
Heather petted the towel. “Mmm. I could get lost in this...” She shook herself, then trotted over to the box and sat down in it. “My turn.”
A moment later, Flint scooped up his new washcloth. It was soft, and warm to the touch, and he could feel Heather’s glee radiating from it. “I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I will.”
Flint would have luxuriated in the shower for longer, but it was a cramped bathtub-shower hybrid and needed a serious cleaning. He still managed to give Heather a good workout, making sure to focus on the areas where she seemed most pleased to be scrubbing. Which meant his tackle was especially clean...
The new towel proved as absorbent as it was fluffy. Flint gave it a squeeze, and petted it softly. “Such a good towel. We should keep you like this.”
Heather glowed with pleasure at the comment, so Flint brought her back to the room to change her back to normal. “Are you serious?”
Heather shrugged. “Moira’s keener on being owned than you, I think. The tension is driving her a little crazy, she needs this downtime.”
“Maybe a trip through the dryer will relax her more.”
That got giggles from both of them, and before they could think better of it, the new towel was spinning away in the drier. It wasn’t especially damp, so the drier pinged the completion of the cycle quickly.
Heather scooped the towel out, then took it back to her bedroom. As soon as she stepped onto the rug, the towel became Moira once more. Moira stumbled against Heather dizzily. “Woo. I feel soooo spinny. What happened?”
“We put you through the tumble drier.”
Moira let go of Heather and spun in place, giggling. “Yeah, feels right.” She stumbled over Heather’s rug, and stopped abruptly. “I...”
“What do you want to be?”
Moira glanced over at Flint. “You’re taking us to the movies tonight. As humans?”
Flint checked his wallet. “It’d be a lot cheaper if I wore you.”
“As a boy or a girl?” asked Moira uncertainly.
Flint tilted his head, and considered the problem for a few seconds. “Boy. Still in?”
“Why didn’t you change into a girl to use the towel?”
Flint shrugged. “Kind of trying out this ‘be a guy’ thing thanks to Heather’s Dad. Mowing, taking my sweeties to a movie... I need to know if this can work, at least somewhat.”
Moira looked away and mumbled.
“What was that?”
“It worked when I was a towel. I suck as a human, just change me already.”
Heather shook her head. “Flint’s right, love. We have to communicate. This isn’t going to work without it.”
“Sure it is. Just turn me into panties like before, and all the jealousy goes away.”
Heather snapped her fingers, and a pair of boxer shorts fell to the rug Moira had been standing on. “OK. What does not-jealous Moira have to say?”
“I don’t feel like panties. What did you do?”
“Boxers. You’ll be wrapped around Flint’s butt.”
“Cool.”
Heather’s eyes widened in surprise. “Cool?”
“I mean... I mean... aw, fuck it. Being Flint’s towel felt awesome. More please.”
“Wait, wait, wait,” said Flint. “You’re cool with me being a guy now?”
“When I’m not a girl, yeah. Being human sucks, can’t I just stay like this?”
“You want to be my boxer shorts forever?” asked Flint incredulously.
“Not specifically. Just... not human. Ever again.”
“No,” said Heather firmly.
“But...”
“No. We can arrange things so you and Flint aren’t ever human at the same time. Right?”
Flint nodded. “Ever human, or just me being male?”
“Mostly that, yeah,” said the boxer shorts. “I’m totally OK with you being a boy when I’m not a girl. More than okay. It’s really weird. Put me on already, you don’t have long before the movie.”
Flint obediently tugged the boxers on, and tried to ignore Moira’s soft moans of pleasure. “Damn. That good?”
“Better.”
Heather stepped onto her rug, gave Flint a wink, and collapsed as a short-sleeved button down shirt. Flint picked it up, and felt how soft it was in his hands. “Mmm, nice. Did you have to be pink?”
“Yep!”
Flint chuckled. “Luckily, i’m not hung up on that kind of thing any more.” He quickly got dressed, and then they had to figure out how to get to the movie. The nearest bus stop was a twenty minute walk away, and Flint had never learned how to drive. Heather offered to fly Flint there tucked into her chest.
“But I wanted to wear you...”
Heather shrugged. “I’ll MagiGift myself to you when we get to the theatre, you can curse me into a shirt there.”
Flint grinned. “Really? I get to curse you? You’re on.”
Once they’d flown to the theatre, Heather was good to her word. Tucked away out of sight in the adjacent park, she vanished into a golden cocoon, and emerged as a lovely dress.
“Flint?”
“I like dresses better than shirts even when I’m a guy. Nobody’s likely to mind.”
Heather sighed happily as Flint pulled her on. “Mmm. Now I see what you meant when you were my dress. This is nice.”
“You’ve got something scheduled soon, I hope. But not too soon?”
“Nothing until bedtime.”
“Cool.”
Flint picked an action movie he’d wanted to see for a while. It had been out for over a month, so there weren’t too many people in the theatre that night. He picked a spot near the back, far away from any other people. Once the theatre darkened for the ads, he nudged Moira. “Can you see?”
“Nope. Doesn’t sound like my kind of flick, it’s all good.”
“I could take you off and set you on the seat beside me...”
“Hell no.”
Flint shrugged, and hugged his arms around his body, snuggling his dress tight. “You okay, Heather?”
“Peachy.”
Unfortunately, the movie ran somewhat later than Heather had figured, and during the big battle scene at the end she suddenly became human once more, leaving Flint naked above the waist.
“Um, oops?”
Flint shrugged. “We’ll sort something out.”
Heather snuggled up beside him, and they watched until the credits started to roll. “That was fun.”
“Yeah, but now I’m about to streak the place.”
“Meh, guys can go topless without issues. If you’re worried, I could always stash you away...” She patted her chest, which expanded a few cup sizes as she did.
“Awesome.”
Heather slurped Flint away just in time, the lights came up as his feet were wiggling out of sight. She adjusted her top, smiled sweetly at the girl staring at her, and headed out of the theatre.
Rapid footsteps approached her from behind as she was headed down the corridor. She turned, and smiled again at the girl. “Yes?”
“How did you do that? Can I learn?”
Heather giggled conspiratorially, and handed the girl one of her business cards. “Witchy Ways, and yes. You’ll need to spend a while gaining power first.”
“Sure thing!”
“And no sneaky slurping up people who don’t want it. It’s not nice, and it can backfire really badly.”
The girl looked downcast. “Not even if they’re being mean?”
“Especially not then. Unless you like the idea of being stuck as their boob toy.”
“I’ll be good!”
Heather gave her a sultry grin. “Though if you do want to be a toy, I’m sure I can find you a good home.”
The girl blushed, stammered, and darted away.
Flint giggled from inside Heather’s chest. “Planning to gather more toys?”
“You two are enough toys for me. I was thinking I could raffle her off to my fans.”
“Heather!”
Heather giggled. “Kidding. Mostly. There have been a lot of offers to be our toy, or toys for anyone who wants one.”
“I guess if they’re really willing...”
Heather found a private spot, and shrunk to an avian form. Soon she was winging them home once more. Her father was waiting at the door, tapping his foot. “Sorry about how late we are. Movie ran long.”
“Where’s Flint?”
Flint emerged from Heather’s chest, and nimbly stepped to the ground. “Downside to not having a driver’s licence. Then again, flying Air Heather is great.”
Mr. Marten snorted. “Tucked between my daughter’s breasts.”
“Yessir. It’s...” Flint blushed, and looked to his sweetie. Heather took his hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. “It’s very cozy. I’d stay, if she’d let me.”
“Hmf. We’ll talk about this tomorrow night. I take it you still want the contract to let her own you?”
“It... would be nice if Flint could have owned me tonight,” mused Heather. “Much more convenient.”
“Think about how you want to word that, then.”
“Yes father. Goodnight.”
Heather and Flint skittered downstairs, giggling all the way.

“Let’s see this new contract of yours,” said Mr. Marten.
Heather held out the paper. “The annotations are a bit of a mess. We added a voting clause, so any two of us can nominate a new owner.”
“Interesting. I don’t see any special Heather rules here. So you have the symmetry you wanted.”
Heather chuckled softly. “In a sense. I suspect those two will keep me on as owner most of the time.”
“Very likely. Are you okay with that?”
“Yes,” said Heather with a decisive nod. “They’ve made it very clear they love it. And... yeah. It’s amazing.”
“What about termination clauses? You could turn them into things, and they’d never get another vote.”
Heather pointed to another clause. “Everyone gets restored every New Year’s Eve, and no magic is allowed until dawn the next day. That way, we’ll have to talk.”
“I’d prefer something more... weekly. Say, everyone human for dinner with the family, one night a week?”
“I can talk to them, but... it wouldn’t have to be in the contract, right? We can do that anyway.”
Her father harrumphed, but let it go. “And you’re still set on this whole ‘takes two to break it’ business? If one of you ends up hating it, you could be stuck.”
“That’s the whole point. None of us can get out on our own, but we all know that if we really did need to leave, the others would let us.”
Her father raised an eyebrow at her. “Very keen on this ‘stuck’ stuff, you three are. I’m concerned it will end in tears.”
“Possibly,” sighed Heather. “There will be tears along the way. But... I think we’ll sort it out. We love each other, and we’re talking about it all. Moira opened up a lot last night.”
“Good. Well, I suppose I can’t stop you. You’ve taken what of my advice you will.”
“Always, daddy. If you said no, I don’t think I’d sign. Are you...”
“Hah. You’d still do it, just behind my back.”
“I...” Heather managed to look a little bit guilty. “Yeah, maybe. I’ve already signed it. Just need the other two.”
“Where are they, anyway?”
“Waiting on my rug, so I can turn them human.”
Flint emerged first, bounding up the stairs two at a time. He was human, and male, and wearing a pair of boxer shorts.
“That’s not Moira, is it?” asked Heather.
“Is... that a problem?”
Heather chuckled softly. “I suppose not, at that.”
Flint signed the contract the requisite three times, then took Moira back downstairs. A moment later, she strode up the stairs dressed in a new pink nightie. “Thanks, sweetie.”
Heather grinned. “Turn about seemed fair.”
Moira signed, and the contract glowed then settled in to the new wording. Mr. Marten took it to place it in the fireproof lockbox that held most of their critical documents. When he returned, it was to find Heather sitting at the breakfast table, wearing a brand new dress.
“Already voted, I take it?”
Heather nodded. “My new bra and dress are very happy, and very comfy.”
“I do hope it stays that way. The happy part, that is. If ever it doesn’t...”
“We’ll talk about it, daddy. I promise. I just... don’t think that’ll be necessary any time soon. Given how eagerly they dove in, might not even be possible for a while.”
Her father shook his head. “Kids these days. Take care of them, hmm?”
“Always.”
