“Hey Marsh?” asked Dana.

“Yeah?”

“Did Vance ever take you up on that ‘venn me into anything’ offer you made when you two got engaged?”

Marsh took a sip of her soda and turned a speculative gaze on her sweetie, chatting with the other guys.  “Once.  He gave me big tits, then decided he didn’t like the look.  Hey, Vance!”

Vance grinned as he turned to look at her.  “Yeah?”

“Venn me into something.  I’ve been your ‘anything you want’ for a couple months now, and you haven’t used it except that first time.”

Vance laughed, and waved it off.  “And I realized then that you are exactly what I want.”

Marsh pouted at him playfully.  “But I want to be something weird for you.”

Vance’s gaze grew distant, then he grinned.  “Okay.  Finish your soda and we’ll get you changed.”

“Yesss!”  Marsh chugged her soda in a most unladylike fashion, then practically dragged Vance off to the Venn Machines.

Vance laughed at his sweetie’s eagerness.  “You don’t even know what I’m planning...”

“Is it big tits?”

“No.”

“Good.  Is it something fun?”

“Yes.”

“Is it kinky and strange?”

Vance stopped in front of the Venn Machine, looking pensive.  “I... ooh.  Wasn’t going to be, but... yeah.”

“Sweet!”  Marsh tapped in a one year change on the Venn Machine, then hopped inside.  “I trust you.”

Vance smiled at her as he entered the other side.  “And I would never betray that trust.  This might take a little tinkering to get right...”

Marsh just waited, a smile on her face, not even trying to figure out what her sweetie was up to.  When he asked if she was ready, he had to repeat himself before she realized he was talking to her.  “Always.”

Marsh frowned as she looked down at herself.  “I look the same.  Did you do anything at all?”

Vance’s smirk made it clear something had changed.  He seemed to be looking behind her, so Marsh turned around.  “I don’t get it... aa, what’s that?”  Something pink swished just out of the edge of her vision.  Craning her neck she finally spotted it.  “What did you do?”

“Tentacles.  We always need another hand or two working on the ‘vette.  I figured....”  Vance blushed, then turned toward the doors when they opened.  He stepped out, and gave Marsh a hug.  Two thick tentacles came forward and wrapped around Vance, just under Marsh’s arms.

“Mmmm.  Double the hugging.  I see the appeal,” quipped Charlie.

Marsh giggled.  “It’s great!”

“Oh, good.  I was worried when you freaked out.”

“I freaked out because there was a weird pink snake in the Venn Machine with me!”

“More like four of them.”

“Four?” asked Marsh.  She wriggled out of the hug and moved to the mirror beside the Venn Machines.  “Oooh.  Big ones and small ones - for heavy lifting and delicate work?”

“Yep.  The little ones light up, too.  Should be great for fetching parts that fall into the bay, or under the car...”

Marsh wriggled her longer, slimmer upper tentacles, bringing both in front of her face.  “Lights?  I don’t...”  She winced as both started shining directly into her eyes.  “Woah.  Neat.  Let’s get to it then!”

“But... social night at the mall?” asked Sasha.

Marsh looked over at her friends.  “Oh.  Right.  We have kind of been neglecting you.  I guess the ‘vette will still be there tomorrow.”

“And for quite a few tomorrows to come, I expect.”

Vance sighed.  “Yeah.  Still, we’ve been making good progress...”

“Damn it, did you see where that clip went?”

Marsh dropped to her hands and tentacles beside the car, and snaked out one of her manipulator tentacles.  “Got it!”  Once she’d retrieved it, she bounced to her feet and handed it back to Vance.

A few muttered imprecations later, Vance dusted his hands with the satisfaction of a job well done.  “There we go.  All back together again.”

They stood back to admire the shining cherry-red paint of the Corvette, and the gleam of chrome from the open engine bay.  “I can’t believe we’re really done,” sighed Marsh.  “I’ve gotten used to these babies.”  She swished her tentacles in front of her demonstratively.

“In more way than one,” agreed Vance, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

Marsh blushed.  “Go on, start her up.”

Vance hopped behind the wheel eagerly.  The engine turned over on the second try.  It sang for a moment, then there was a loud bang from inside the engine bay followed by billowing smoke.  He shut it down swiftly, and hopped back out again to examine the damage.  “I don’t think we’re done quite yet...”

“Mmm.  It’s getting late, though.”  Marsh wriggled her tentacles suggestively.  “Maybe we should sleep on it.”

“Oh my God!  You guys, it’s Marsh and Vance!”  Charlie waved to the two excitedly once she spotted them.

Marsh tugged Vance behind her as they approached the group.  “Hey.  Sorry we got a little caught up in... stuff.”

Charlie looked Marsh over carefully.  “Wait, no tentacles?  But you’ve had them for months, you said you’d keep them until...  Is the car finally done?”

Vance grinned and nodded.  “We came here to celebrate.  And see you guys again, of course.  It has been way too long.”

“Going to christen the car properly later?  Find somewhere remote and...”  Dan waggled his eyebrows suggestively.

“I suppose we should, but the back seat of a ‘69 Corvette is a little... nonexistent.”

Dan waved that off.  “Bah.  You’re just not thinking creatively.  If we venn you small enough, you could do the deed on one of the front seats.  Or in the footwell.”

“I’d still need to be able to drive...” mused Vance.  “So you can’t make me too small.”

Dan bounced around eagerly.  “You’ll let us do this?  Sweet!  The others have gotten tired of my ideas...”

“No ideas.  Just smaller,” said Vance emphatically.

“Aww, nobody wants to try Fangs for the Mammaries.”

“Fangs for the what now?” asked Marsh.

“It’s when he puts mouths in place of your nips,” giggled Charlie.  “It tickles, and is very very very distracting, or I’d have kept it.”

“I want to try a variant where you can eat and talk with them,” wheedled Dan, looking between Marsh and Charlie.  Marsh shook her head.

“Can we ditch the vampire fangs?” asked Sasha.  “Those were... uncomfortably poky.”

“The fangs are the whole point!” groused Dan.  “But fine.  If you want to RUIN the whole aesthetic, I could do that.”

Sasha grinned.  “You’re on.”

The group headed toward the Venn Machine, with Dan leading the way and talking excitedly about all his wild ideas.  Marsh stepped in front of him as they got there.  “No tricks, no fancy stuff.  Just smaller, and that more flexible thing.  Vance is right, those seats are small.”

“I’ll take it,” said Dan with a grin.  Moments later, the machine closed on them.

Charlie set up the other machine, and gestured for Vance to enter.  “You’ll need to be a bit shorter too.”

“Eh, why not.  I can trust that you’ll leave me able to drive.”

“And cuter.  Definitely cuter.”

Vance laughed.  “Fine.”

The figures that emerged from the machines were a close match in height.  They’d both lost about a foot – Vance was just shy of the five foot mark, and Marsh a few inches shorter.  Her clothes had also become bright, glossy pink.  Vance studied his reflection and frowned a little.  “Did you... you did!  How are we supposed to christen the car if we’re both girls?”

“Marsh is very flexible indeed,” giggled Dan.

Marsh posed beside Vance, and stuck out her tongue.  Vance watched with amusement and then growing surprise as it kept on going.  Marsh waggled a foot-long tongue at her sweetie, then slurped it back in again.

“I’m surprised you can even talk with that thing,” marveled Vance.

Marsh tried, but it appeared she couldn’t get the slightest peep out, all she could do was breathe through her nose.  She shot a dirty look at Dan.

Dan held up his hands.  “You wanted flexible.  It’s only for a little while.  And we know you two have issues with your voice, so...”

Marsh beamed a winning smile at him, then grabbed Vance’s hand and headed for the doors.  Vance allowed herself to be pulled along behind, giggling all the way.  The rest of the group followed along in a loose gaggle.  When they reached the restored Corvette, they all oohed and aahed appreciatively.  Dan supplied the address of his favourite parking spot, and got poked by Jeff for his troubles.  “That’s our spot!”

“Well, we’re loaning it to them for tonight.  If you’re so worried about makeout spots, I’ve got some ideas for how to solve that problem...”

“With yet another kinky venn, no doubt.”

“Nothing kinky.  Just small.  Really, really small, so we can hide anywhere.”

“Ooooh...  Hey Charlie, can we make out in your bra?”

Charlie giggled and nodded.

Marsh and Vance waved at the group, and the car’s engine roared to life then carried them off into the sunset.

“That was... fun, but this is insane.  There just isn’t enough space in a ‘69 Corvette to get any kind of action going.”

Marsh unfolded herself from the passenger footwell, and snuggled up into her sweetie’s lap.  She nodded, then nuzzled in for a kiss that kept Van distracted for some time.

After they’d recovered their breaths, Marsh batted the key-ring still hanging from the car’s ignition.

“Yeah, the bed at our place is way more comfortable.  Shall we?”

Marsh nodded eagerly.

They parked where the Corvette had lived for the past six months, under a temporary shelter beside the carriage house they lived in.  Van scooped Marsh out of her side of the car without even opening the door for her, and carried her all the way up the stairs, through the door, and into the bedroom.  Marsh splayed herself on the bed invitingly, and stretched her tongue out long enough to slither under the collar of her blouse...

“Oh yeah...  Let’s see what that tongue of yours can really do.”

Vance had her clothes off in a flash, and Marsh’s off not long after.  The bed hadn’t seen such vigorous use in months, but held up well.  After all, both were tiny, light... and very loud.

Marshall woke with a start.  It took a moment to realize why, then he noticed that he barely fit in the bed.  An experimental stretch of his legs showed that he was, in fact, rather too long for it.  He’d been used to curling up to fit in beds for so long he naturally did so again... and encountered the warm cuddly mass on the other side of the bed.  “Oh.  Shit.”

“Mmmh?” asked Van sleepily.  “What’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong?  Can’t you hear it?”

“Oooh, you have your voice back.”  Van rolled so that she could face Marshall, exposing her very naked...  Marshall stared at those breasts and tried to assemble a coherent thought.  He failed.

“What’s the matter?” Van asked, again.

“Look, I’ll go sleep on the couch and we can hit the Venn Machine in the morning.”  Marshall tried to put action to words, complicated by the fact that he could not look away from the breasts his tongue had been teasing, could not stop thinking about how Van had sounded when they...  He sort of wriggled helplessly in place trying to find the edge of the covers, and got more tangled.

Vance took Marsh’s hand in her tiny ones, and tugged him closer.  “Don’t go.”

“But...  I’m a guy.  And huge and ugly and...”

Van patted Marshall’s lips with her hand.  “No saying mean things about my sweetie.”

“But...”

“You don’t want to go.  I don’t want you to go.  Eee, I get to be the little spoon.”  Van rolled her back against Marshall’s chest.  “Please?”

“I...”  Marshall tried to get his erection to go away, but the way Van was wriggling against him made that near impossible.  “What?  But you... what?”

“I am a girl.  Might even stay like this the whole month.”

“Would you mind very much if I went back to being a girl in the morning?”

Van stilled as she thought about it.  “Is that what you want?  Or would you like to try being reasonable-sized but male Marshall for a while first?”

Marshall wrapped his arms around Van gently.  “I like being Marsh.  But... are you really venned for a month?”

“Mhmm.  The rascals planned this.  I find that I’m not angry.  Kind of relieved, really.”

“Relieved?  How?”

Van wrapped her arms over Marshall’s and tugged them tighter about her.  “The idea that you were... in there somewhere kept bugging me for a long time.  Now it’s on the outside, and... I find that nothing has really changed.  You’re still you.  I’m still me.  Even though I’m a girl right now.”

Marshall nuzzled at Van’s hair.  “You even smell like one.  It’s... nice.”

“Figured since I was a girl I could try your girly shampoo... I could keep using it, even when I’m a guy.”

Marshall chuckled softly.  “That’s not my point... but I wouldn’t say no, either.  It does smell nicer.”

“Okay.  I don’t mind smelling like a flower, if it makes you smile.”

Marshall sighed.  “So... that’s it?  Just ‘sure, I’ll be a girl for a month’?  After all your fuss?”

“It’s way too late for this kind of introspection.  Less talky, more sleepy.”

“Yes dear.”

Van slipped out of the bed.  Light was sneaking past the blinds, so it was well into morning already.  Marshall was still asleep, and she studied his sleeping form.  Was this what she wanted?  She sighed softly, and crept out of the room so that her sweetie could catch up on sleep.

Van was flipping the third set of pancakes when she heard a creak followed by a loud thump, and a great deal of cursing.  She turned to look at the bedroom door, and saw Marshall standing and rubbing his forehead.  “Stupid low doorframes.  Forgot about that reflex.”

“Oh, sweetie, I’m so sorry.  I didn’t even think about that.”

Marshall ducked through the doorway and scooped her into a hug.  “It’s okay.  But I would like to get rid of the excess inches soon.  I feel all huge and weird and wrong.”

“And I feel all tiny and... mmm, yeah, right there.”  Van wriggled her bum into Marshall’s grip.  “Are you sure you have to change back?”

“What happened to the guy who cringed at the very sound of my voice?” asked Marshall.  He set Van down by the stove, nodding to pancakes that still needed tending.

Van sighed and turned away from her sweetie.  She lifted one pancake with the spatula to check how brown it was, then set it back in the pan.  “How many times do I need to apologize for that?  I was young and stupid.”

“That was six months ago.”

“And I’m a very different person now,” Van said with a giggle.  “I’m four foot nine, I measured.  I haven’t been this small since sixth grade.”

“You’re also a girl.”

Van grinned up at him. “Yup.”  She pulled the pancakes from the pan, set them on a plate.  “Here.  Breakfast.  Got to keep your strength up.”

Marshall accepted the plate, and sat to eat at the kitchen table.  “Keep my strength up for what?”

Van wiggled her eyebrows.  “You know what.”

“Last night I figured you were teasing.  But you’re actually serious.  You realize that if you’re not in a specifically infertile form, you could get pregnant like this...”

“Charlie said she took care of that.  I am not ready to be a mother yet.”

“Yet?”

Van shrugged and turned back to the pan.  She poured more batter in, three dollops for three pancakes.  “I am so not ready to be a parent.  I had a talk with Mom when you moved in, about venning and fertility and... well, the tentacles took care of that for a while.  Not compatible, y’know?”

Marshall swallowed a mouthful of pancake.  “Good thing too.  I’d rather not have a tentacle child.  Can you imagine all the trouble she’d get into?”

“Do you want kids?”

Marshall nodded eagerly.  “Definitely.  I had three sisters growing up, I can’t imagine not having kids... though I can’t say I figured on carrying them myself.”

“I can help with that.”

Marshall blinked at Van owlishly.  “You... are you serious?  You’d...”

Van looked away, flipped the pancakes methodically.  “This?  Cooking for someone I love?  Pales in comparison to the idea of... yeah.  Scares the hell out of me, but yes please.”

“Me too, if we’re being honest.  I’m not ready.”

“Mom said nobody ever is.”  Van scooped the pancakes out of the pan, and onto a plate, then carried them to the table.  She sat across from Marshall.

“Your mother didn’t have venn contraception.”

Van poured syrup over her pancakes, and took a bite.  After she’d swallowed, she sighed happily.  “Aw yeah.  Perfect.  Look, we don’t have to do this today.  We really should get married first.  But once we are... I want to get serious about trying.”

“And until then?”

Van waggled her eyebrows at Marshall.  “Lots of practice.  Both ways around.”

Three months later:

“Hey guys, guess what?”  Van waved cheerily at the usual gang in the mall.

“What?”

“Turns out using Venn Machines for contraception isn’t quite as reliable as we thought.”

Charlie looked back and forth between Van and Marsh.  “Wait, are you really... oh my gosh you guys, congratulations!  Um, which one of you is pregnant?”

Van blushed as she glanced over at Marsh, and took her hand, twining their fingers together.  “Both of us.”
