Will took a step back from Bernard, looking him over.  “Maybe about the size of a pet cat?  Small enough to curl up in your lap.”

“And it’s just my lap you’re interested in, hmm?” asked Bernard with a grin.  He played the shrinker over Will’s body, avidly watching as it dwindled.  A second, briefer zap left Will’s head about mid-thigh on Bernard.  “How’s this?”

Will prowled forward, and then giggled.  “Just a bit too short.  Pick me up!”

Bernard scooped the tiny woman into his arms.  “Oh!  You’re so light like this.”

Will giggled.  “Says mister ‘I like inflatable dolls better than women’.”

“Guilty as charged.  It just feels different.”  Bernard sat on the bed, and set Will on his lap.  “There you go.  One lap-pet sized person.  Happy?”

Will made a show of circling around and curling up on top of Bernard’s thighs.  When she settled down, her face was right next to his groin.  “Mmm.  You’re so big like this.”

Bernard laughed and flopped to his back on the bed.  “Feel free to explore.”

Will snuggled up where she was.  “This is good.  Can I sleep here?”

Bernard propped his head up to look down at her.  “Really?”  At Will’s nod he wriggled his way up the bed, and tossed the cover over the both of them.  “Sweet dreams.”

Will’s response was to cuddle up in a way that made sleeping difficult...

After dreams of being tied down by tiny cat-girl dolls, Bernard woke to a loud meowing coming from right in front of his face.  His eyes flashed open to find Will’s tiny face right in front of them.  “Uh?”

“I’m hungry, and I can’t reach anything in the kitchen.  Miaaaau!”

Bernard started laughing uncontrollably.  Will tumbled to her rump in the resulting bed-quake, laughing along with him.

“You do remember that you could grow yourself back to normal by tapping the gem, right?” asked Bernard once he’d caught his breath.

Will winced.  “That did not once occur to me.  But you’re awake now, so...  Meow!”

Bernard levered himself out of bed.  “If I had some way to really turn you into a cat, you’d be so fuzzy right now.”

Will giggled, prancing behind Bernard as they headed to the kitchen.  “Teeny tiny catgirl costumes!”

Bernard snorted as he poured one large and one small bowl of cereal.  “I have those.  But they’re for dolls about a foot tall.  Want to try one on?”

Will insisted on eating first.  She scrambled up onto a kitchen chair, and thence onto the table, and lapped at her bowl of cereal determinedly.  She refused the offer of a teaspoon.

Bernard was done long before Will, and left the little woman to her own devices.  He returned to find her patting a full belly, beside a half-empty bowl.  He set several doll costumes on the kitchen table.  “Any of these appeal?”

Will rejected the classic Catwoman costume in favor of a pink fluffy bodysuit with built in paws, and headband ears that matched.  “How did you find this?  It’s so cute.”

Bernard shrugged.  “All kinds of weird stuff online, if you know where to look.”  He held up the shrinker.  “Ready?”

“Yep!”

Bernard had plenty of experience shrinking Traci down to the right height to fit these outfits.  He stopped the beam when Will was close to the right size, and a few light taps on the shrinker left Will a fraction under a foot tall.  She scrambled into the costume, then giggled and posed for Bernard.  He carried her to his doll display, and took several pictures of her posing in among them.

“You’re taking this remarkably well,” mused Bernard as they reviewed the pictures.  Will was sitting in his lap once again, still covered in pink fur and squealing happily at how cute the pictures all were.

“Why not?  This is crazy, but so is a roller coaster.  Oh!  You could be the roller coaster.  Fly me through the air!”

Bernard grinned and scooped Will up once again, to shrieks of glee.  Flying her around the apartment was only the beginning.  Another tap from the shrinker reduced Will to jugglable size, and led to her quite literally flying...
