A loud sneeze resonated throughout the apartment as Heidi entered.  “Oh no, Rosie, are you coming down with another cold?”

Rosilie honked her nose loudly into her handkerchief.  “More like round three of the same one.  I’d do anything to make it go away, I had to postpone my presentation, but the boss said If I don’t do it Monday, I’m off the list.”

“Anything, you say?” asked Heidi with a grin.  “I do know of one sure-fire way to ditch a cold in two days.”

Rosilie smiled wanly up at her friend and roommate.  “Anything.  This promotion’s in the bag, if I can just not be sick Monday.”

“C’mon, then.  Let’s go to the mall!” chirped Heidi, grabbing her friend and pulling her off the couch.

“Like this?” fretted Rosilie.

“Won’t be like that for long.”

Rosilie tried to tug her hand away.  “Oh no.  You want to use those stupid Venn Machines on me.  I like being human, Heidi!”

“You said anything.  This will work, I promise!”  Heidi was practically bouncing with excitement.

Rosilie allowed herself to be dragged toward the door.  “It better.”  She honked and wheezed all the way to the mall, buoyed only by Heidi’s reassurances that it would all be better soon.

The wait for a free Venn Machine was mercifully short, though it did give Rosalie a turn when a girl stepped out of one side, and picked up a pretty little purse from the other.

“Did she just turn someone into a purse?” whispered Rosilie, just before another racking cough.

“Yeah.  It can turn you into anything.  Animate or inanimate.”

“You’re not going to ...” Rosilie paused for another wheeze, “turn me into a purse, are you?”

“Goodness no!  That’s not nearly as fun as panties.”

“Panties!” screeched Rosilie, blowing out what was left of her voice.

Heidi pouted.  “You said anything.”

“Can’t we try Venning me into a not-sick person?” whispered Rosilie, wincing as she pronounced each word.

“Oh, fine.  Let’s try that first.”  Heidi paid the machine and set it for two days.  “After you.”

Rosilie sighed with relief a minute later.  “Oh, that’s so much better.  Hey, wait a minute...”  She looked down at herself.  “Did you make my chest bigger?”

“I had to do something,” protested Heidi with a grin.  “C’mon Rosie, let’s go take a walk around the mall.”

Rosilie followed her curiously.  “Why are we doing this?”

“You’ll see.”

Halfway around the mall Rosilie started to sniffle.  By the time they’d walked all the way around and back to the Venn Machines, she’d started to wheeze.  She didn’t even notice that Heidi had been holding her hand for half the walk, or the grins and other looks they were getting from the shoppers.

After yet another loud honk into her handkerchief, Rosilie leaned up against the Venn Machine with her eyes closed.  She stumbled inside when the door vanished.  “Do it,” she begged Heidi.

“Can I add something to make it more fun?”

Rosilie snorted.  “If you can make being panties fun, go for it.”

She was in the middle of another coughing fit when everything stopped.  The sinus pain, her wheezing attempts to catch her breath.  The sudden relief made her try to smile, but of course she couldn’t do that either.  As she fluttered to the ground, immobility seemed a reasonable tradeoff for the relief from her suffering.

Then an enormous hand plucked her into the air, and Rosilie realized that fluttering feeling was starting to send warm tingles through her “body”.

The fluttering was nothing compared to what came next.  Rosilie felt a warm foot slide through her.  Her protest that getting worn wasn’t part of the deal died on her missing lips.  The feeling of warmth and fullness that followed drove the complaint from her mind.

Rosilie felt her whole world shift and flex as Heidi walked back to the car.  Why did it feel so amazing to be a wisp of silk around her friend’s hips?  Thinking about that was difficult, as the experience of moving to another’s rhythm was overwhelming.

The drive back to the apartment gave Rosilie some time for her mind to clear, though not as much as she’d have liked.  Every time the car stopped, enormous fingers would slip under the skirt and tease at her fabric.  Those touches spread electric tingles through her wispy form, driving home her new nature.

More walking scattered Rosilie’s fears and concerns.  Feeling the skirt slither off raised new ones, but then those fingertips were teasing at her and the sparkling pleasure washed everything else away.

When Rosilie next became self-aware, she could feel a rythmic kneading, and a permeating warmth and dampness.  As she was being spread out to dry, she realized it had been a lovely, soothing hand-bath.  Rosilie drifted off to sleep as she cooled.

Rosilie’s next waking was to the warmth and fullness of legs returning to her.  She tried to summon up annoyance at Owner for wearing her again, but the delicious feeling of fullness banished all her negative thoughts, leaving her feeling content, as if she was right where she needed to be.

Rosilie drifted along happily, until fingertips found her once again, teasing and touching. She wished then that she could move, to strain against that touch, begging for more.

Soon enough, there was more.  Much, much more.  Not only fingers, but something smooth, something that buzzed in a way that cut through her brain fog.  Rosilie tried very hard to be upset with Heidi for doing this to ... Oh!  Oh my...

Rosilie staggered to her feet, staring uncomprehendingly at the inside of the Venn Machine.

“You need to press the green if you want to change again,” said Heidi from the other side.

Rosilie tapped the green obediently.  Then she shook her head to clear the cobwebs.  “Wait, was that set for a month?”

“Yeah, just like last time.”

“You turned me into panties for a month?  My presentation!”

Heidi held up her hands placatingly.  “You’re fine.  You’ve only been panties for a day and a half, it’s Sunday afternoon.  How do you feel?  Is the cold gone?”

Rosilie took a few deep breaths, testing her lungs and calming herself down.  “Okay.  Yeah.  I feel way better.  But...  What the hell was all that?”

Heidi looked away.  “I didn’t think I’d get another chance to wear you, so I wanted to do everything...”

“Wait, wait.”  Rosilie held up her hand to stop Heidi’s confession.  “You wanted to wear me?  Why?”

“Because I’ve loved you forever, and it was the only way I’d feel you on my skin.  Plus, wearing people is a kick.  The idea that amazing, sexy, go-getter Rosilie was wrapped around my hips...”  Heidi frowned at Rosilie.  “What’s wrong?”

Rosilie was squirming slightly and emitting a soft whine.  “When you say it like that...  What did you do to me?  Every touch set me aflame.  God, if you just asked, I’d let you do it again right now.”

Heidi shook her head firmly.  “That’s the pleasure level speaking.  It’ll pass.  You have a presentation tomorrow, and you need to be human.”

“Pleasure level?” asked Rosilie.

Heidi explained how to make forms feel touch more intensely, giving the transformed person pleasure.  She’d only used one step on Rosilie, and how it usually took three steps and some encouragement to get people solidly hooked on it.

“That sounds incredibly dangerous.  So if I turned you into a bra, and gave you a triple dose, you’d want to stay that way forever?”

Heidi’s eyes shone.  “Wouldn’t take even that much.”

“Heidi!  You’re never serious.”

Heidi met Rosilie’s gaze determinedly.  “Never more so.  I know you’re straight as an arrow, and I can’t ever...”  She sniffed, then blew her nose in a loud honk.

“Are you getting sick?  No no no, you can’t re-infect me.”

“Then you better turn me into that bra.”

Rosilie bit her lip, then nodded.  “Fine.  I haven’t done this before.  Just say bra and... ooh, that one’s pretty.”  Rosilie touched the bubble, and suddenly she couldn’t see her friend, just a pretty seafoam green bra in shimmery satin.  “Um, are you still there?”

Heidi chuckled.  “And I will be until you press the green button.”

“Should I do anything else first?  Like that pleasure thing?”

Heidi’s voice cracked slightly as she said “please”.

Rosilie did it twice, the second eliciting something between a gasp and a moan from Heidi.  “Anything else?”

“Could you...” Heidi hesitated.

“Seriously, H.  I want to make this good for you.  Anything.”

“Make it so I can hear, and move a little.”  Heidi walked Rosilie through the steps required.

“And... one last thing.”

Rosilie yelped as she felt her chest shift.  She looked down to see she was two cup sizes larger.  “Heidi!”

“I’ll fit you.  None of your other bras will.  I’m a jealous little bra, and want to be worn.  Change me!”

Rosilie’s hand darted to the dwindling green crescent, and then the doors opened.  She darted around to pick up her new bra, marvelling at the sheen of the fabric.  “God, you’re beautiful.  I might just keep you the whole month.”

Rosilie almost dropped the bra as it squirmed in her hands.  “What?  Oh, right.  Um, one wriggle for yes, two for no?”  The bra wriggled once.

“Okay...  Um, can I keep you like this for a month?”

The bra wriggled once, barely a twitch.

“And I suppose you want me to wear you now.”

The wriggle she got then was much more emphatic.  Rosilie took off for the nearest washroom, and soon had Heidi on in place of the bra she’d been wearing earlier.  She looked down at the old bra.  “Hah, joke’s on you H.  My old bra would fit too.  I can rotate.”

The frantic wriggling Rosilie got in reaction to that made her stumble against the wall.  “Down girl, easy!  I was joking.  But you have to go easier on me in public.  Can’t soak my panties mid-presentation now, can I.”

The bra wriggled once then settled gently around her breasts.  It felt a little like having them cupped by soft hands, and a little like a hug.  Rosilie smiled.  “I think it’s going to be a good week.”

The presentation went well.  Rosilie’s confidence was boosted by the feel of warm cups around her chest, and the occasional reassuring hug from the bra.  For her good behaviour, Heidi got another warm hand-wash that night.

Rosilie made sure to wear her friend every day, to work and out shopping for the new tops she needed to handle her increased bust.  She made sure to ask Heidi every day if she wanted to be changed back.  The answer was always a knee-buckling series of wriggles that made her answer emphatically clear.

Rosilie found that her new look got the attention she’d been hoping for, especially from Conrad.  She’d pined after him for some time, but the company frowned upon skip-leveling relationships.  Now she was at the same reporting level as him.  Her attention got her a few smiles from him, and a carefully calculated lean over his desk, exposing Heidi, got her a date that Friday.

The date went well, and encouraged by Heidi, Rosilie took Conrad up on his offer of a nightcap at his place.  He made coffee for both of them, then sat down at an elegant glass coffee table, in a chair with room for one.  Rosilie took the hint and sat on the couch, slightly out of arm’s reach.  “What?”

“Something funny has been going on all night.  I could swear you’ve been talking to... not yourself, exactly.  But it’s like you’ve been having another conversation.  And there’s something peculiar about your chest.

Rosilie had picked her dress for the buttons in front, allowing her flexibility as to how much of Heidi to show.  She unbuttoned several more than she’d originally planned, and pulled the dress wide to show off her friend.  “Say hello to Heidi.”

“You named your chest?”

Rosilie giggled at the idea.  “No!  Heidi is my roommate.  She Venned me into panties.  To cure my cold!  Though... uh... she did a bit more than that.  So I turned her into a bra, and she likes it.”  Rosilie squirmed at a strong wriggle from the bra.  “Likes it a lot.”

“I saw it move.  Or should I say her?  Which pronouns do you use when someone’s an object?”

Rosilie murmured the question to Heidi, getting an emphatic reply.  “Oooh.  Definitely it.  She’s in love with being my bra.  Um, and with me.”

“Oh!”  Conrad sat back to consider this revelation  “I ... I suppose that makes more sense then.  Being that close to someone you...  Well.  How do you feel about her?”

Rosilie hesitated.  “I’ve spent most of my adult life rooming with her,” she started, feeling her way.  “We’ve told each other everything.  And just this week I found out she’s desperately in love with me.  I...”  Rosilie brushed a hand over her bra.  “I am very fond of her.  Love?  I suddenly find myself wondering what it even means.”

“Do you care about her happiness?” asked Corad softly, leaning forward.

“Yes.  Very much.  She’s so happy like this.”

“How do you know?”  Conrad’s gaze was locked on the bra and what it contained.

Rosilie grinned and leaned forward, showing off further.  “She can move a little.  Wriggle, squeeze, that kind of stuff.  So one wriggle is yes, two is no.  Three is ‘keep asking questions, dummy’.  Oooh!  Two, three.  There she goes.  So what do you want to ask her?”

Conrad took a moment to process the question.  “I, huh.  Never thought tonight would end with talking to a bra.  I guess asking why she likes it isn’t yes or no.  Could I tou... no.”

“Can he touch you?” asked Rosilie with an impish grin.  “Ooh, there she goes.  Definitely yes.”

Conrad reached out a hand cupping one of Heidi’s cups gently.  Rosilie put her hand over his and gave it a good squeeze.  “Honk.  C’mon, you know you want to.”

Conrad laughed warmly.  “Ever since you showed up with your upgrade, yeah.  What’s up with that, it’s obvious your breasts are real, and that was too quick for surgery.”

“Heidi here is a jealous bra.  She Venned me bigger so I couldn’t wear any of my old ones.”

Conrad looked stunned.  “Oh.  Right.  So they’re... real.”

“Real as anything Venned, yeah.  Real as my bra.”

Conrad nodded as he was reminded of Heidi’s presence.  “Hi Heidi.  I like your sweetie here, but I think you two have some stuff to work out.  I don’t want to come between you.”

Rosilie smirked.  “I think she’d like that, too.”

Conrad flushed as he realized the implications of his statement.  Then a surprisingly shy smile blossomed.  “She would?”

“Oh yeah.  Got a good squeeze on that.  I think being a bra is messing with her mind.”

Conrad sighed, and sat back.  He picked up his coffee and took a sip.  “Then I think you need to talk this out, human to human.”

Rosilie sighed softly, but buttoned up her dress as she nodded.  “You’re right.  Want to tag along and talk with the bra you’ve been eyeing all evening?”

“Uh...  That sounds like it would go badly.  Me looking at another woman and all.”

Rosilie grinned.  “I don’t mind.  She doesn’t mind.  Her whole purpose is to make me look sexy.  And you’re the one forcing her to be human, you should be there to explain yourself.”

Conrad chuckled softly, and set his coffee down. “Fine.  Now?”

“Let’s not waste the whole weekend wondering what if.”

Soon, Rosilie was coaxing a suddenly shy Heidi out of the Venn Machine.  She started to relax when Conrad smiled at her, and said she was much prettier as a human than a bra.  Then he asked why she wanted to be a bra so badly, and she clammed up, clutching against Rosilie for balance as she relearned how legs worked.

After they were seated, Conrad asked what it was like to be worn.

Heidi shot a begging look at Rosilie, who pulled her a little closer and tried to explain what it had been like as panties.  “It wasn’t the helplessness, though that is oddly freeing.  Panties don’t need to worry about performance reviews.  They get worn, and move where their owner goes.  And this minx made sure that every touch felt... so good.”  Rosilie shuddered.  “Was being my bra like that?”

“Better,” sighed Heidi.  “Because it was you, and round and luscious and warm...  Like being snuggled up to you in a warm bed, except I was also poured over your skin.  I was really looking forward to you and Conrad...”  Heidi blushed.  “Can I go back to being a bra now?”

“I’d be more comfortable if I had a clearer idea what made it so enticing,” mused Conrad.  “Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying no.  Heck, the threesome is a classic guy’s fantasy.”

Rosilie’s brow furrowed.  “But not your fantasy?”

Conrad shrugged.  “I can’t help but see the biomechanical impediments.”

“Which Heidi’s offer neatly avoids,” countered Rosilie.

Heidi grinned broadly.  “You look a little out of sorts, Conrad.  It’d be a pity if you came down with a cold.”

“What?”

“I said, it’d be a pity,” repeated Heidi much more emphatically than before, “if you came down with a cold and we were forced to turn you into clothing to cure it.”

Conrad’s eyes widened, and he managed a barely credible cough into the crook of his arm.  “Oh dear.  This is a dreadful turn.”

Rosilie’s eyes narrowed at Heidi.  “You were faking a cold when I turned you into a bra.”

“It was still fun.  This will be even better.”

Heidi tugged Rosilie toward the Venn Machine, and Conrad followed along behind.  The women held hands as they stepped into one side, and Conrad entered the other.

“Which of us will he fit?” asked Rosilie.

“Both of us.  Two bras!”  Heidi expertly manipulated the interface and soon two bras were hanging midair, one sized for Rosilie’s new endowments, and a smaller one for herself.  “Ready to have your world rocked?”

“Wait...  How long did you set this for?”

“We’ll change you back for work, don’t worry.”

“But...”  The bras heaved in unison as Conrad sighed.  “Fine.  Have your fun.  But please don’t cost me my job.  I like it.”

“Did you know there’s a clause for involuntary Venn vacations in our contract?” asked Rosilie sweetly.

“What?”

“Yep.  Counts as leave without pay, or vacation days, whichever you prefer.”

Conrad chuckled softly.  “In that case, do your worst.”

“Oh, we will,” said Heidi, as she pressed the green circle.

Rosilie scooped up the two new bras as soon as the Venn Machine opened, then they headed to a washroom.  Once they were both wearing their new bras, Heidi posed to show hers off.  “What do you think?”

“It makes you look sexy.”  Rosilie reached out and gave Heidi’s cute little breasts a squeeze.  “Honk honk.”

Heidi moaned and stumbled back against the sink.  “Don’t tease like that.”

“Who’s teasing?” asked Rosilie, suddenly very serious.

“You don’t like girls,” muttered Heidi.  “You made that clear after I turned you into panties.”

“I was surprised,” said Rosilie.  “I had no idea.  But Conrad’s right.  I am attracted to the girl who wanted to be my bra if she couldn’t have me.  That kind of devotion...”  She leaned in, and kissed Heidi.  “Should be rewarded.”

“What about Conrad?”

“He gets weeks, you get weekends.”

Heidi blinked.  “What?”

“You heard him, he has a job that he likes.  So you can be my bra Monday to Friday, and he can be my bra on the weekends.  Sound fair?”

Heidi giggled.  “I love you so much.  C’mon, let’s go home and show Conrad why he should accept your offer.”

Rosilie stroked a hand over her bra, giggling at how it squirmed.  “How much pleasure did you set him for?”

“One, same as you.  Don’t want to melt his brain the first time out.”

Rosilie bit her lip.  “Maybe you can melt mine later.”

Heidi tugged Rosilie out into the mall, heedless of the fact they hadn’t put on their tops.  “I intend to do it sooner than that.”

*** *** ***

Early Monday morning found a dazed Conrad staring at a Venn Machine.  When Rosilie stepped out of it he smiled at her, and even more at the bra she scooped up.  “Were you really serious?  About the alternating thing?  Because after this weekend...”

“Yes?” asked Rosilie, wringing her hands worriedly.  “Did you like what Heidi ... I mean...”

Conrad grinned at her.  “That was incredible.  In other circumstances, I’d say ‘just change me back’.  But the trade seems fairer.   Though it seems unfair you’ll be human all the time.”

Rosilie giggled.  “I’m sure you two will cook up something fun.  Maybe I can be bras for the two of you.”

“A bra for me?”  Conrad looked surprised, then he smiled. “Sounds like fun.  I’m in.  Next weekend?”

“It’s a date.”  Rosilie got an impish look on her face, and quickly pulled up her top so she could put Heidi on, flashing the mostly empty mall.  And Conrad.

Before she could pull her blouse back down, Conrad gave Heidi a quick grope.  “Honk honk indeed.”

Rosilie laughed as she settled her clothes.  “Someone’s getting honked in a big way when he becomes a she next weekend.”

Conrad’s look of concern made Rosilie laugh even harder.  “It doesn’t hurt, does it?”

“It can if you’re too rough.  But you were good.  Heidi agrees.”

“So you’re really going to go to work with your lover strapped around your chest, able to fondle you whenever she likes?”

Rosilie smirked.  “Jealous?”

Conrad laughed and shook his head.  “More like amazed at your willpower and dedication.  Speaking of which, we’d better get going.”

After a quick stop at Conrad’s place so he could shower, shave and throw on clean clothes, they arrived at the front door of their office.  “Total professionalism at work, right?” asked Conrad.

Rosilie leaned in close and whispered “Honk honk” into his ear, then strode grinning into the building while Conrad waited for his blush to dissipate.
