“I bet you won’t believe what I’ve got this time.”

Andy rolled his eyes at his friend in the video chat.  “I know better than to take open-ended bets like that from you, Bobby.”

“Bah, fine.  I wouldn’t have done much to you.  Just... this!”  Bobby held up a hand in front of the camera, and it was all shiny and silver.

Andy’s eyes widened.  “You got a cybernetic hand?   Wicked... wait, what’d you do to your hand to need one?”

Bobby laughed.  “Nothing.  I’m beta testing some new tech from work.”

Andy’s eyes went even wider.  Bobby had frequently told improbable tales about the things that went on in Technicon’s testing labs.  The chance to actually see if some of it actually worked made Andy eager, if still wary.  Not all of those stories had ended well.  “How’d you score something like that?”

“Beat the others in a poker game to see who got to try it at home, of course.  Come on, you have to try this out.  Poker at my place, tomorrow night.  Stakes are...”  Boris popped the metal hand off his wrist.  “Literally and arm and a leg.”

“You can’t possibly be serious.  Betting our own body parts?”

“It gets better,” said Boris with a gloating grin.  “But if you want to see any of this, you’ve got to play.”

“Fine.  I’ll be there.  Against my better instincts...”

* * *

When Andy showed at Bobby’s place for the poker game he was surprised that nobody else was there.  “Couldn’t talk anyone else into the arm-and-leg stakes?  Why am I not surprised.”

Bobby chuckled uncertainly.  “Yeah, well...  I guess you’re the only one crazy enough.”

“I guess I am at that.  Can we start with a demonstration before the game starts?” asked Andy eagerly.

Bobby agreed readily, and turned two the two boxes sitting beside the poker table.  Both were draped in what looked suspiciously like old bedsheets.  He pulled the sheet off the smaller one with a flourish.  Under it was a silvery cube a little over two feet on a side.  The top glowed faintly.  “Behold the TCAT-72 Robotizer.”

“What’s the other box?”

“The second half of the stakes of the game.  The Robotizer is perfectly simple to use.  Just select some options, put the body part to be transformed on top of it and press start.”

“What options?”

Bobby pointed to a display screen that looked suspiciously like someone had glued a tablet to the machine.  “Mostly how robotic to look.  Zero looks like sculpted silicone.”

“Like a sex doll?”

Bobby flushed, and nodded. “Yeah.  Pretty much exactly like that, a good one.  The other end of the scale is full robot, all gripping claws and such.  Stay twenty or under if you still want to look somewhat human.  The silver hand thing was fifteen.”

“OK, can we try ten?” asked Andy as he put his hand on the top of the Robotizer.

Bobby nodded, tweaked a couple of numbers, and hit a button.  The upper surface of the machine glowed purple.  A 3D lattice exactly the same size as the box itself formed throughout the volume above the machine, and a finer lattice covered Andy’s hand.  A moment later, Andy’s hand vanished, leaving only the glowing lattice.

“Hey!  Where’s my hand?”

Before Bobby could answer, the field vanished, leaving behind a cybernetic hand where Andy’s had been.  It looked like it was made of shiny white plastic, except for at the knuckles where the silver mechanism underneath was exposed.

Andy held it up and wiggled his fingers, then tapped it with his left hand.  “It feels cool!”

“I know!  C’mon, time to deal.”

Andy was far too distracted by his new hand to focus on playing cards, and lost the first two hands.  Which was one hand more than he had to spare, so after the second loss he put his arm on the block.  “Can we make this a different style?” he asked.

Bobby nodded, and soon Andy had an arm that looked like it belonged on an industrial robot.  His hand kept the original style, so it looked like he had a humanized gripper on the end of the silvery tube-and-ball structure.  Andy moved it about, staring at it in wonder.  “This is so awesome. My arm feels really off, though.”  He tapped it with his other hand.  “I can barely feel this.”

“Metal can’t feel much.  It’d feel more normal if I dialed the ‘satisfaction’ setting up a bit, but you have to be careful with that one.”

“Oh?  What does it do?”

“Depends on the body, really.  Low settings make it feel...  I don’t know.  Right.  Good.  You feel like you’re supposed to do what you’re capable of.”

“Sounds like it could turn people into happy drones,” said Andy, frowning.

“The engineers limited the setting to ten instead of twenty-five to prevent that.  Charlie tried going full robot with it set to ten, and said even at that it was almost like being just a robot.  The robot would just go and do whatever it was told.  She could override it, but she had to fight for control and it was easier and way more fun to let it do its thing.”

“Isn’t this kind of dangerous, then?  They just... let you have it at home?”

“Oh!  No, you can’t use it to turn everyone into robots.  They have to be willing, or it won’t work.”

Andy blinked.  “How does it tell?”

Bobby shrugged.  “Beats me.  I don’t design this stuff, I just get paid to be a guinea pig while they’re testing it.  I’ve been melted more times than I can count.”

Andy flexed his metallic arm, wiggling his plastic fingers in awe.  “So those stories are real?  You really spent a week as a purse?”

“Yeah.  Almost ended up with it as a full time job.  It was kind of fun, actually.  My owner made sure she used me all the time.  Being used as a thing is... it’s hard to describe, but it’s just so satisfying to do what you’re supposed to do.”

“Are you sure you’re going to survive this job?”

“Survive?” chuckled Bobby.  “Sure.  As a human... well...”  He shrugged.  “The odds aren’t really all that bad.  I’ve been at Technicon for five years, and only almost got stuck that once.  Granted, there have been a few ‘retirements’ in that time.  Speaking of which, want a job testing weird new hardware?”

Andy laughed nervously.  “I’d... rather stick with the tested stuff.  This one is tested, right?”

Bobby nodded vigorously.  “Yeah, up down and sideways.  Everything it does is perfectly reversible, using only the Robotizer.”

“So there was a time when it wasn’t reversible?  What did you do then?” asked Andy nervously.

“We’d have to poke the engineers to fix the firmware.  Again.  Once we’d had our fun with whoever was stuck, anyway.”

“Sounds more like a frat party than a job.”

Bobby laughed uproariously.  “Some days man...  Some days.  Anyway, back to the game.  Once you’re out of body parts...”

Andy looked over at the covered box.  “Something interesting happens?”

“Exactamundo.”  Bobby dealt them five cards each.  “Draw?”

Andy thumbed through his cards, and tossed two to the table. “Sure.  Are we betting anything other than limbs?”

“Didn’t really see the point.  We can raise the stakes once we get to the reveal.”

Andy laughed.  “Works for me.”

Andy went on to lose steadily.  Soon all of his limbs were robotic.  Bobby let Andy pick the settings, so all the new parts were sleek, shiny metal.  Bobby had only lost two hands in that time, and his hands looked just a bit too pink to be real.

Andy turned up another broken straight.  “So what happens now?  My head?”

Bobby shook his head.  “Can’t.  Head and lungs have to go last, and as a unit.  Safety interlocks won’t let you do it any other way.  So you lose everything below your man-boobs.”

Lining up appropriately on the box was tricky, until Bobby suggested they do his hips separately from his belly.  After the next loss, Bobby helped Andy detach his body at the hips and set what little was left of him directly on top of the Robotizer.

After another cycle of disappearance and reappearance, Andy detached the metal cylinder that had replaced his belly.  “Hm.  From here, it doesn’t look so bad.  Am I supposed to lose sensation in detached parts?”

Bobby set the much-reduced Andy on the poker table directly.  “Yeah.  We kept asking the lab guys to add wireless to it, but they kept coming up with excuses about fundamental limitations and yadda yadda who cares.”

Andy laughed.  “You really have no idea how this stuff works, do you?”

Bobby shook his head with a grin.  “To be honest, all of us in the testing lab think the engineers are screwing with stuff they don’t fully understand, either.”

Andy won the next two hands, and groused that changing them at level two barely counted.  Bobby answered by detaching one of his arms at the shoulder.  “Better?  I need to keep one to deal, and to reassemble myself afterward.”

“Fine.  Deal.”  Andy didn’t even bother to draw, and lost one last time.  He tossed his cards to the table and used his arms to hop himself off the table then back up onto the machine.  “Hit me.”

A blink later, and Andy frowned.  “I don’t feel all that different.”

Bobby started to snicker as he reattached his arm.  “Oops.  Left it on setting two.”  He lifted Andy up to a mirror where he could see that his head and upper torso looked like they were made out of pink rubber.

“God, I look like a freaking doll.”

“Funny you should mention that,” said Bobby, pulling the cloth off the other box.  This one was a sturdy shipping crate, with the lid already loose.  Tipping it off with a crash a collection of pink rubber body-parts were revealed.  Bobby set them out reverently, reassembling the figure prone  beside the box.

Andy stared at it.  “A doll?  I don’t get it.”

Bobby held up one arm, exposing the cut end to Andy.  It had a grooved metal plate on it, looking much like the joints Andy had acquired over the course of the game.  “It’s another person?”

“Charlie and I had a little wager after I won this.  She lost.”

“She... you’re going to do this to me, too?”

“No!  This isn’t her, exactly.  We turned her into a robot, uploaded her brain, then copied all the parts.  She went home perfectly normal.  Well, mostly normal, she kept her feet detachable.”

“Kinky.  So you can copy people now?”

“Well, they have to be in pretty small parts.  And the copier won’t duplicate anything with a mind, but uploading her got around that.”

“So what now?  You going to put my head on that body?  That’d be weird.”

Bobby shook his head.  “Can’t.”  He popped off one of Andy’s arms to compare with the female one.  “See?  They’re grooved differently.  Every joint is unique, and only assembles one way.  You can’t even put arms on backward, or swap left and right.”

“You tried that?” asked Andy incredulously.

“A few of the others did.  They thought it would be hilarious to return someone to normal with their parts all mixed up.  No can do.”

“So now what?”

“We upload your mind into the Robotizer, and download it into this.”

“Are you out of your freaking mind?”

“You lost, remember?  We could play another few hands...”

Andy stared at the doll parts, trying to sort out his feelings.  The idea of letting Bobby do this to him was scary, but the Robotizer had worked flawlessly so far.  And then rthere was the matter of curiosity.  What would it be like to be female?  “Let’s do this.  Turn me into a sex doll.”  He hopped his upper body back onto the machine.  Bobby tapped a different button that had been greyed out before, and Andy’s body went inert.

The next thing Andy knew, he was blinking a different set of eyes.  “Did it... oooooh!  My voice!”

“Wow.  You sound nothing at all like Charlie.”

“I don’t sound like me either,” said Andy in his new, soft-pitched voice.  “But otherwise I feel... kind of normal.”  He glanced down at his chest, where two small pink rubber breasts sat.  “I expected this to feel... different.  Put me back together, maybe that’ll help.”

Arms, legs and hips clicked into place as easily as before, then Andy stood up and tried to get a better look at himself.  “Am I cute?”  He frowned when he noticed Bobby’s expression. “Stop drooling and get me a mirror!”

Bobby wordlessly pointed down the hall to the bathroom.  Andy rolled his eyes, but headed that way.  “You can talk to me, you know.  Still Andy in here.”

“That makes it worse!” was the strangled reply once Andy was out of sight.

Andy stared at himself in the bathroom mirror.  “Definitely cute.”  His new body had pink skin that was just a little too perfect to look natural.  Even his nipples were the same flat pink.  Touching them felt nice, but didn’t make them harden like real ones.

Sliding his hands down his sides to the slight but unmistakably female curves of his hips produces a faint squeaking sound, rubber on rubber.  That made him laugh. Stepping back so his legs touched the tub brought his crotch into view.  Andy gasped at the sight of it, of the absence of his usual tackle.  It was hairless and as flawless as the rest of his body, a barely visible seam where so much more should be.

“I really am a girl,” he whispered.

“Are you done yet?”

“I…”  Andy brushed curious fingers over his mysterious new parts, and groaned.  “I better be, or I won’t come out at all.”

Andy unlocked the door and opened it to find Bobby standing right there.  Bobby stared at Andy’s naked body until Andy raised an eyebrow.  “Haven’t you seen a naked woman before?”

Bobby blushed and ducked his head.  “Not one that look like a love doll come to life.  Not… real.  And my friend is inside it.”

Andy put a finger under Bobby’s chin.  “Look all you like.  As long as it’s just looking.”

At Bobby’s guilty look Andy started laughing.  “You wanted to do more than look, didn’t you?”

Bobby twitched away from Andy’s hand, and bobbed a weak nod.

“Why not just bang the doll itself?  Ultrarealistic doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

Bobby held up his hand to forestall that line of questioning, and headed back to the Robotizer.  He methodically converted Andy’s variously-roboticized parts to the same level of pink rubberiness as the body Andy now wore.  Once Andy’s old body was assembled, Andy shuddered.  “It looks like a corpse.”

“Exactly,” said Bobby without looking up.  “Creepy as all hell.  I tried, but... could you get it up for that?”

Andy bit his lip and suppressed a laugh.  “I don’t have to get it up in this body.  And that one seems to have no trouble with it.”  He pointed at how emphatically erect his doll-self was, visible even through the boxers his old body was still wearing.

Andy noticed how Bobby stole a sideways glance at his female body, then blushed and turned away.  He sighed, and picked up his shirt.  It draped over his new form like a tent, but at least it covered everything.  “You can look now.  I’m decent.  What is it with you?  Now that there’s a person inside the body, you’re...”

“Sorry,” said Bobby.  “I thought...  I don’t know what I thought.”

“That I was your oldest friend and that I’d be willing to go further?”

“It was stupid.  You’re a guy.  Still, you have wondered out loud more than once what sex is like as a woman.”  Bobby stole a glance at Andy’s body, then smiled a little when he saw that it was actually covered.  “You look good in that.”

Andy smiled at Bobby.  “Thank you.”

“For?”

“The compliment.  Treat me like a person.  Not some object of fantasy.  Oh, and for this opportunity.”  Andy picked up the cards, and put them in Bobby’s hands.  “Deal.”

“What?”

“If you win, you get to set my ‘satisfaction’ setting to whatever you like.  If I win...”

“Anything.  Turn me into anything,” said Bobby too eagerly.

Andy grinned victoriously.  “Can this thing upload you into other objects?”

Bobby nodded.  “As long as you robotize them first.”

“Then deal.”

Andy lost once more, tossing down his busted flush with a melodramatic sigh.  “Looks like you get your girl-toy after all.”  He detached his hips, and arm-hopped back onto the Robotizer.  “Hit me.”

“Are you sure?” asked Bobby, after adjusting a setting, hand hovering over the big green ‘Start’ button on the tablet.  “This is going to mess with your mind, make you think that being female is... normal.”

Andy tossed away his shirt.  “Just do it alre...”  The field flickered, and Andy’s face went slack.  When it reanimated, it grinned fetchingly at Bobby.  “Oooh, it worked.”

“It... worked?” stuttered Bobby.

Andy brushed her hands over her chest and moaned happily.  “Ooooh!  If it’s going to feel like that...”  She hopped off the Robotizer.  “Do my hips!”

At Bobby’s renewed blush, she tossed her own hips up onto the top of the unit, and hit Start again.  Bobby was still blushing and stammering by the time she’d reassembled herself.

“Rowr.  This feels incredible.”

“Andy?” asked Bobby weakly.

The doll shook her head.  “Nope.  I don’t feel like an Andy any more.  Hmm.  Annie, maybe?”  She pouted at the look that got her.  “Too close, you’re right.  I was named after Andy Warhol, so... hm.  War...  Do any girl’s names start with that?  I can’t think of any.  Hol... Holly!  Yeah.  Hi, I’m Holly,” she said, holding out a hand.

Bobby took it and shook it.  “H... hi Holly.”

“Now introduce yourself.”

“I’m Bobby.”

Holly grinned.  “Better.  Now what do you want to do with me, Bobby?”

“I want to forget about my good friend Andy, and think of you as a real woman.”

Holly slunk closer to him, and pressed her naked rubbery body up against his.  “Does this help?”

Bobby’s incoherent stammer made Holly giggle.  She shut him up with a kiss.  One that went on and on, and explored his tonsils thoroughly.  When she finally let him breathe again, she giggled.  “Not breathing is fun.  How was that?”

Bobby looked more stunned than simply dazed, and collapsed onto the couch wheezing for breath.

“Are you okay, sweetie?” asked Holly.

“What... on earth... was that?” asked Bobby between panting breaths.

“A kiss.  A good one, at least from my end.  Haven’t you ever kissed a girl before?”

Bobby shook his head.  “Not... like that.”

“It was a good kiss, but not top ten.  Seriously, you’ve never kissed a girl like that?”

Again the headshake.

“Well, at least we’ve fixed that much.”  Holly sat down beside him gracefully, and draped an arm over his shoulders.  “Nothing more, either?”

Bobby sighed, and looked at his knees.  “Never figured out how.”

“But it’s simple!” she protested.  “You just talk to them.  Like real people.  C’mon, we’ll practice.  Do you have any clothes for this body?”

Bobby started blushing again, but pointed at the box the doll parts had been in.  Despairing of getting any more words out of him, Holly went over to the box to peer inside.  On the bottom was a very small bag.  She opened it, and sighed at the lacy bits of fabric within.  “This is it?”

“Charlie said that she didn’t need support like that.”

Holly noticed a sales slip was in the bag with the wisps of fabric, and her eyebrows lifted at the price on the bottom.  “How do they get off on charging that much for three little scraps of fabric?  Still, must have been a nice place.”

Bobby managed a weak chuckle.  “Only the best for my doll.”

Holly grinned.  “Hey, that almost sounded like a joke.  I don’t mind if you call me doll, considering.  Other girls might.”

“Oh?”

“Depends on her sense of humor.  Some will get bent out of shape if they think you’re objectifying them.  Others like it, but don’t like admitting that where other women can hear it.”

“That sounds... confusing.  Do you like it?” asked Bobby.

Holly laughed warmly.  “Oh, sweetie.  This feels so good...  Yes.  I’d let you turn me into an object.  If you promised to make me human again afterward.”

Bobby glanced at the cards on the table, and Holly followed his gaze.  “Let’s see if you can manage without the prop.”

“What?”  Bobby turned to look at her, and immediately turned beet red.

Holly sighed, and looked down at herself.  Still naked.  Right.  She scooped up the little black wisps of fabric and grabbed Andy’s over-large shirt as well.  “Back in a tick.”

Putting the lingerie on in Bobby’s undersized bathroom was tricky.  Holly was just glad there were no hooks on the so-called ‘bra’, it was stretchy enough that she could wriggle into it with effort.  It didn’t slide easily over her rubbery skin, but a little strategic tugging here and there settled it into place without any wrinkles.  Turning to the mirror Holly gasped.  It might not have been the most comfortable thing she’d ever worn, but it made her look sexy as hell.  She spent several minutes posing in the mirror.  When she finally emerged, wearing the tent-like shirt over the rest, she looked embarrassed enough that even Bobby picked up on it.

“That wasn’t a tick.  What were you doing in there?”

Holly giggled.  “This stuff you got might be itsy bitsy, but it looks amazing.  I turned myself on, posing in front of the mirror.”

Bobby’s jaw nearly hit the floor, and Holly put a finger under his chin to close his mouth once more.  “C’mon.  You can do better than this.  Pretend you’ve never seen me before, and try to chat me up.”

Bobby’s first flustered attempt was barely coherent.  Holly worked with him patiently, starting over and over a dozen times or more, coaching him on how to talk to her without stammering.

Bobby looked Holly in the eye.  “Hey cutie.  Want to come up to my place?”

Holly grinned.  “Oooh.  I felt that one.  Think you could do that with a real girl, now?”

“Uh...  What I want is to do it with you.  Please?”

“Oh, sweetie.  Don’t beg.  It doesn’t work.”

Bobby sighed.  “Ah.  What can I do to get you to sleep with me?”

Holly shook her head.  “Nothing.”  At Bobby’s crestfallen look she added, “at least, not like this.  Double or nothing?”

“What?”

“Deal another hand.  You win, set my ‘satisfaction’ as high as you like.  What am I at now, anyway?”

“Th...three.  I didn’t want to overwhelm you.”

“Huh.  So I’m... still mostly me?”  Holly looked down at herself.  “Wow.  I wonder what ten would be like.”

Bobby dealt.  He ended up with a full house.  Holly looked at him oddly then nodded.  “Looks like lady luck is with you tonight.”  She started dismantling herself.

“What are you doing?”

“If we’re going to do this, do it right.  Crank up the setting on all my parts.”

Bobby nodded, and they quickly cycled through Holly’s legs, hips and arms.  Soon her torso and head were perched atop the Robotizer.  “Ready?” asked Bobby.

Holly bit her lip, then nodded.  “Do it.”

Holly disappeared.  A moment later, what reappeared in her place looked up at Bobby with undisguised lust.  “Ooooh, big boy,” it said in a sing-song voice.  “Put me together and let’s have some fun.”

“Holly?”

The doll’s face struggled for a moment.  “Here.  Hard to control Dolly.  Gonna let her have her fun.”

The doll laughed.  “Dolly wants to play!”

Bobby nodded, and started assembling the doll.  As soon as it had arms, it pulled him into a hug.  Attaching its hips made Dolly squeal with pleasure, and she started pulling off Bobby’s belt.

All their clothes were off in moments.  Bobby drooled at the sight of Dolly in the lingerie, and that just made her laugh even louder.  She pulled him down against her body, locked him into a deep and probing kiss, and shimmied out of the panties.

There were no more words, not for the next minute.  Bobby flopped to the couch, anoxic and spent.  Dolly pouted.  “That’s it?  That’s all you’ve got?”  She poked him, but Bobby was out cold.

“Fooey.”  The doll looked around, and then grinned.  Lying beside the Robotizer was a male doll that looked more than ready to satisfy her.

* * *

After Dolly had gotten her fill of squeaky sex with an unmoving subject, Holly finally took control once more.  She made a face.  “He was right.  It’s not nearly as much fun without someone inside.”

Holly separated herself at the waist, and hopped up on the Robotizer.  It took some craning and a long reach with her arm, but she managed to trigger the change, setting her ‘satisfaction’ down to two.  She liked being Holly, and was pretty sure that going all the way back right now would be traumatic.

Once she’d done the rest of her body parts and reassembled herself, Holly wondered what to do.  She felt awake and alert, not the least bit tired despite the late hour.  Tapping idly on the Robotizer’s screen she found the help menus and read through them.  There wasn’t a lot to it, though she did find a few settings that Bobby hadn’t shown her.  She had fun with the colour chooser, turning herself bright candy pink, then fire engine red, then shiny, featureless black.  That last was problematic, as it also dimmed her vision to the point where she could barely see.

Once she’d fixed that problem, Holly spent a good hour designing her body’s colouration in a sophisticated image editor.  She added some cute freckles, gave her nipples a more realistic look, and then added a scatter of leopard rosettes down her sides.  She couldn’t reshape her fingernails to claws, to her disappointment.  Instead she coloured them black, decided it didn’t suit her at all, and tried out a dozen different colours before settling on candy pink.   She gave herself pink irises next, but decided it looked too unnatural and settled on a pretty shade of blue instead.

Holly gave up on the Robotizer, and picked up the deck of cards.  She figured solitaire would pass the time... until she found out the deck was missing two aces.  She frowned.  She’d seen Bobby win with both those aces earlier in the night.  So where were they?

Holly found them tucked under the oversized coaster next to where Bobby had been sitting.  It took a few minutes for it to really sink in.  “He was cheating?”

She kept her raging to a minimum so as not to wake her cheating friend.  Bobby proved to be a very sound sleeper indeed, and she took her time planning her revenge, testing out some new ideas.  He slept so soundly that she was able to slide the Robotizer closer to the couch and convert a limb at a time without waking him.  Bobby finally roused as she was lifting his torso onto the machine.

“What are you doing?” asked Bobby, sleepily.

“Returning the favour.  Trust me, you’ll love it.”  Holly smiled far too sweetly.

Bobby grinned back at her.  “Cool.”

His body vanished.  When it returned, it was inert.  Holly tossed the rubber torso aside, and set something else atop the machine.

“I feel very strange,” said a synthetic voice from the shiny metal box sitting on top of the Robotizer.  “What am I?”

Holly giggled, and scooped it up.  “C’mon, I’ll show you.”  She held it up in front of the mirror in the bathroom.  “See?”

All Bobby could see was a shiny metal box with a display panel on one side.  It displayed two eyes and a mouth in low resolution, and when he spoke the lips moved.  “I don’t get it.”

Holly carried Bobby to the kitchen and set it on the counter.  She tugged on the cord curled up under its body, and Bobby groaned at the sensation of it unspooling.

“Oh, if you like that, wait for what’s next.”  Holly plugged him into the outlet, crossing the fingers on her other hand in hopes that she hadn’t made a horrible mistake.  She almost yanked the plug back out of the wall when Bobby yelped, but it was followed by a low, unmistakably pleased moan.

“Ohhh, I don’t know what you did but...  Don’t stop.”

Holly giggled. “I don’t intend to.”  She held up two pieces of bread.  “Ready for the next step?”

Bobby blinked at them in confusion.  “Neither of us need to eat.”

Holly slipped the bread into the slots on top of Bobby, triggering more moaning.  “Oh, this isn’t about eating.”

“I’m a toaster?  How the hell?”

“I turned your toaster into a robot with your shiny new toy, and uploaded you into it.  Don’t worry, this should be fun.”  Holly pressed the ‘start’ button on the ultramodern looking appliance, and the bread slices silently descended into it.  Silently other than groans and moans from Bobby’s synthesized voice, anyway.

“Oh.  OH!  I’m getting so hoooooot!”

Holly giggled.  “That’s because you’re a toaster, dummy!”

“Not just thaaaaiiiegh!”

Nothing coherent came from Bobby.  The toaster’s moans and groans grew louder as the coils within it glowed brighter.  When the toast finally burst from its hiding place, the toaster howled in ecstasy.

Holly withdrew the perfect golden toast with a smile.  “You’re a very good toaster.”

Bobby purrrred in pleasure at the praise.  “M... more?”

Holly giggled again and fetched two more slices of bread.  “I don’t know.  Do you deserve these?”

“Please!  Please let me toast them.  I’ll make them perfect!”

“Please what?”

“Please Mistress!”

Holly smiled to herself as she slid the bread into place.  This was going to be fun.
