Lorrie studied Gina’s worried face. This was not the sarcastic teen that she remembered from school, this was a worried little girl whose reality had been upended. Again. “Why do you think your mother is a demon?”
“Oh come on, you’ve heard it all.” There was the sarcasm Lorrie remembered.
“Rumours abounded. I’d like to hear your version.”
Gina studied her face, going still for a breath before the twitches resumed. “You really want to listen to the crazy kid?”
“Who we’ve established is actually seeing things that are magically transformed,” said Lorraine, reassuringly. “So, yes.”
“It started when Dad left. They always fought, it’s not like I was surprised or anything. Mom was, I think. She took it bad, and despite getting the house, money was always tight. She had the better job, you see, so while he had to pay child support, most of it went back in alimony.”
“I can see where she’d take that poorly. Did she take it out on you?”
Gina shook her head emphatically. “No! She’d always been sweet to me. Then Dad was seen with a prettier, younger woman and she lost it. Screaming even worse than when they used to argue. That went on for a week, and suddenly... it stopped. The next day, when she came home, I could see it.”
“See what?” asked Lorrie, when Gina’s silence stretched into extended trembling.
“She had horns. And a spade-tipped tail. I asked what had happened to her, and she lied to my face, telling me that nothing had. When I looked at her in a mirror, she looked normal. Pictures looked normal. Nobody else could see it... but I could. Whenever I looked at her. I tried to hold my peace, but she started bringing home guys. One night stands. And they’d look ten years older in the morning, and she’d look younger. Prettier.”
“But still demonic underneath?”
Gina nodded. “I suck at hiding my feelings. She could tell I knew. That’s when she took me to see a shrink. I ran away from that one, she was a demon too.”
Lorrie cursed, then covered her mouth. “Sorry. That’s... messed up. Do you think she was?”
“Then? When Mom told me I was hallucinating, I started to believe her. Now... it would make sense, right? I was going to expose her, she wanted me hushed up.” Gina giggled hysterically. “She got it, too. The drugs, the shock therapy...” The twitching turned to violent spasms.
“Gina! What’s wrong?” Lorrie clutched her tightly, but the thrashing got worse.
“Fucking Risperidone. Half of the other meds cover up the side effects. Tried to run and get off ‘em once, same thing. Shit lasts forever, though. Change me!”
Lorrie backed away from the flailing girl and grabbed the wand. She whispered “sorry”, then said “Garter” much more loudly. Gina smiled happily as her body shrunk and the tremors faded with her muscles.
Lorrie stared down at the garter on the floor. “Now what do I do?” She looked over at the panties, and restored Pete.
He sat up and shook her head. “Poor kid. That’s... that’s all kinds of messed up. How long does Risperidone last?”
Lorraine had no idea, but figured it wouldn’t be too hard to find out. Some online searches suggested a half life up to six days.
“So we need to keep her like that for a couple weeks?” asked Pete uncertainly.
“Looks like it. We can try every few days to see how she’s doing. Did you want to keep her company?”
Pete blushed and nodded. “Please? Maybe wear us both?”
Lorraine tilted her head and looked over the muscular teen. “This is not just about her, is it?”
“I...”
“Be honest. I won’t be offended.”
Pete looked down at his feet, shuffled them on the carpet. “You won’t laugh?”
Lorraine smiled as encouragingly as she could. “Is it actually funny?”
“I... guess. Kinda. If it’s laugh with, not laugh at. Did... did you like being the bra?”
Lorraine nodded. “I’d rather be human, but it was pleasant. Relaxing. Might make a nice vacation, actually.”
“I... really really like women’s clothes,” Pete admitted, barely above a whisper. “The fabrics are so soft, so slippery. I... have a little collection back home. Panties mostly.”
“Do you wear them?” asked Lorrie, softly.
“Sometimes. Hard to find ones that fit. Oh, how I wished I could have found the perfect dress that fit a big ol lug like me. And then... then you turned me *into* panties. Beautiful silky ones. Just being them felt amazing. Then you actually put me on.”
“Ah.” Lorrie frowned. “That’s a thing? You want to be clothes? Be worn?”
Pete nodded. “Yeah. Being with Gina would make it extra special.”
“I’m... not entirely sure I’m comfortable with keeping you like that.” At Pete’s downcast look, Lorrie held up a hand. “I’m not saying I won’t do it. Just... not permanently.”
“Oh! Even once in a while would be something. I’d take once a month, if that's all I can get.”
Lorrie smiled. “I’m sure we can do better than that. And... did you prefer it when you’d become panties in mind as well as body? Or when you could still remember you were human.”
Pete nodded, eyes distant. “The second one. Fuzzing out was... nice. But the urgency went away, too. So yeah, I’d love to be your panties for a few hours here and there. Or if that’s too intimate, a dress would be... would be...” He stared down at Gina. “Could she be one?”
“One what?”
“A dress.”
“Of course. Do you have something specific in mind?”
“A long, swishy, silky dress. Floor length. That... that would fit me and look good.”
Lorrie picked up the wand from the table and aimed at at the garter lying on the floor. “Did you catch all that? Do your best. Dress.”
The garter expanded, becoming yellow and silky. When it stopped, Pete nervously approached the puddle of fabric. He picked it up, fumbling it this way and that until he found the collar. Holding it against his body, he smiled. “It looks about the right size.”
“Go try it on. There’s a full length mirror on the back of the bathroom door.”
Pete looked shocked. “I couldn’t. I mean, it’s... it’s Gina.”
“Would you rather wear me?” Lorrie giggled at Pete’s expression. “You want to wear her. If she had objected to the idea, she’d be my size. Or doll size.”
Lorrie waited for Pete to emerge. Eventually she picked up her papers and started working on them. She’d put a serious dent in them before Pete emerged, wearing the dress. She tried not to giggle, but failed.
Pete looked horrified. “Do I look ridiculous?”
“No! It’s just... that really isn’t your colour at all. You need a deep green, or maybe a purple dress. And I just want to take your hair and tie it back in a ponytail with a matching ribbon. You look so cute!”
Pete shook his head. “Don’t want to be cute. Or feminine.”
“You’re wearing a dress.”
“And I love it,” admitted Pete. “Can we fix the colour with the wand? Just point it at the dress and say ‘red’?”
“That should work... wait!”
Pete scooped up the wand and pointed it at the dress. “Red!” He did it again, and once more. “It isn’t working.”
Lorrie took the wand from his hand. “Because you’re not its rightful owner. It’s for the best, you almost changed yourself, too.” She tugged the dress’ flowing skirt away from Pete’s legs, and pointed the wand at just the dress. “Red dress.”
Colour bloomed across the dress, and Pete grinned. “Oh! You’re right, that’s much better.”
Lorrie took that as a cue to put on some slow dance music. Pete helped her move the coffee table to make more room to dance in the middle of the living room, then stood there swaying to the music. Lorrie picked a faster song, and that finally got Pete moving. When he spun and his skirt swirled around his calves, the smile on his face was perfect.
Then the song ended, and a loud clapping came from the doorway. Pete turned several interesting shades and tried to cover up the fact that he was wearing a dress, but even his muscular arms could hide very little of it.
Barry shook his head. “Don’t hide. I won’t bite.”
Pete relaxed slightly, but was still holding his arms tight against the dress. “I... It’s not...”
“Oh come off it Pete. I’m in no position to judge you. We both like being her clothes, remember? Besides, you look good like that. Suits you.”
Pete blushed, but let his hands fall to his sides. “Oh. Uh... thanks? It’s Gina.”
“I was wondering how you found a dress that fit so well.” Barry turned to look at Lorrie with a twinkle in his eye. “Think I can get one, too?”
Lorrie grinned at him and nodded, so Barry picked up the wand from the side table. “Dress.” She crumpled to the floor.
With a little help from Pete, Barry was soon wearing a matching dress in emerald green. Barry flipped through the music on Lorrie’s system and picked out something with the right beat. He pulled a curious Pete into a ballroom dance grip, and led him through an increasingly complex waltz. When the song ended, Pete pulled away, panting softly. “Where’d you learn to dance like that?”
“My sister got into ballroom dancing, and needed someone to practice with.”
“No, wait, better question. How did you get to use the wand? When I tried it it didn’t work.”
Barry shrugged, and slipped out of the dress. In a moment it was restored to being a giddy-looking Lorrie. “Woo, that was fun. Can we do that again later?”
Barry laughed. “Only if we swap places first.” He set the wand on the table again. “But first, answers.”
Lorrie sighed and helped Barry move the coffee table away from the couch again, then sat. “Fine. First off, I don’t know why you can use the wand. That you can, Barry, is the unusual part. I inherited it in part because I’m the ‘right sort of person’. Great-Aunt Silvie wasn’t entirely sure what that entailed, as the sample set was small. Her grandmother and I were the only ones she’d known who could. But I do have a guess. Do either of you have any revenge fantasies you’d enact with the wand?”
Barry shook his head but Pete nodded slowly. “There’s an ex-girlfriend that I would so turn into a pair of shorts. Or a condom.”
Lorrie giggled. “That last might be fun with the right person.”
Barry grinned at her saucily. “I think I can work with that. Can I use the wand to turn a pillow into a love doll?”
Lorrie quickly glanced down to make sure the wand wasn’t in Barry’s hand as he said that. Her wry smile was a mix of relief and disappointment. “It can only change people.”
“What?” shouted both teens.
“It uses the target’s understanding of the word. Plants and pillows can’t understand. Even using a word the target doesn’t understand prevents a change. And if they happen to know you well, they can change themselves to fit and be especially pretty, as Barry always did as my bra.” Lorrie favoured her sweetie with a grin at that.
“Wow,” said Barry. “That’s... inconvenient. Think of all the things you could make if it worked on things.”
Lorrie chuckled. “I know. In the hands of someone evil, it could do a lot of damage as they went about filling their wardrobe. But now that I have volunteers...”
Pete grinned. “Yeah. I’ll be your dress any day.”
“So you want to stay on, then?” Lorrie smiled. “Cool. Feeding all three of you is going to get expensive.” At their worried looks she held up a hand. “It’s OK, I can manage. But I would like to ask a favour in return. Barry’s already agreed to help out with maintenance around here, and goodness knows the place needs it. Pete, can you handle some yardwork? The garden is out of control”
Pete grinned and nodded. “I’d noticed. Didn’t want to say anything, but... yeah! I’d love to tackle that.”
Soon Pete was hacking his way through the weeds of the back yard, using Gina as a power trimmer. Barry unpacked his few boxes of possessions, mostly clothing.
“That’s everything?” asked Lorrie.
“Nah. I’ve left lots at home. Mom figures I’d be back by the time classes start.”
Lorrie raised an eyebrow.
Barry shrugged. “I’m a student, with a couple of years of trade school ahead of me still before I can do anything worthwhile with my life. You’re successful and smart... This will be an amazing summer. But when we’re both busy with school and work, what then?”
“Do you want it to be just the summer?” asked Lorrie, picking up the wand and fidgeting with it.
“No. But I’ve never kept a relationship going for more than a few weeks, either, so I don’t have high expectations.” Barry watched the wand carefully. “I get... distracted...”
Lorrie flicked the wand at him without saying anything, grinning at his wide-eyed expression. “Distracted?”
Barry tore his eyes from the wand. “I get really focussed on whatever I’m doing. Girls don’t like it when you ignore them for week.”
Lorrie chuckled. “That’s true enough. I guess I just need to be more distracting. Or, if your head’s in the clouds, turn you into a bra.” Barry’s expression as he started to shrink made Lorrie giggle. “Oh, sweetie, this is going to be such fun.”
Lorrie put her new bra on under some old clothes, then went out to help Pete with the back yard. She couldn’t help but notice how good he looked sweating in the sun, and how comfortable. “You’ve done this before.”
Pete nodded, and set the trimmer down to wipe his brow. “Not quite like this, though. Gina makes an amazing trimmer. Or I suppose any other tool I need?”
Lorrie nodded, slipping the wand out of her pocket briefly to show it. “Anything you need.”
“That’ll make this way easier. I was always scratching along with crap tools before.”
“Before?”
“Helping out with my uncle’s landscaping business. At slave labour wages, to boot. Mom thought it would build character, and I guess it did. Because there’s no damn way I’m putting up with uncle’s crap any more.”
“Language.”
Pete rolled his eyes. “Still, Mrs. D?”
“Yes, still. Crudity begets crudity.”
Pete held up the trimmer. “You didn’t twit Gina for it.”
Lorraine sighed. “Because she’s in a horrible situation, and at least some of that is the mind-affecting drugs she’s on. Once they’re out of her system, we’ll get to see who she really is.”
“Do you really think so?” asked Pete hopefully.
Lorrie nodded, and touched his shoulder reassuringly. “She’ll be OK. She just needs time. And until then, she’ll be in your hands.”
Pete nodded, and set back to work.
After Lorrie had finished making dinner, she restored Barry. The two teen boys ate ravenously. Lorrie corrected their manners as best she could. Barry took to it easily, but Pete needed to “fill the hollows” before he slowed down.
Once everyone was full, Pete glanced at Barry then asked Lorrie if he could spend the night in her drawer with Gina. Lorrie grinned, and put them both away as a matching bra and panty set, carefully ribboned so they’d not be changing back soon.
“Just the two of us?” asked Barry with a grin.
“For now.” Lorrie held the wand out to him. “You seemed to like a certain idea earlier.”
Barry took the wand carefully, watching Lorrie’s expression. “You’re sure? It seems...”
“I’m game to try anything once.”
Barry aimed the wand at Lorrie and whispered, “condom.”
Lorrie shuddered as she felt her body collapse in on itself. Being a bra had been one thing, but to become so tiny, so filmy... she felt deliciously vulnerable, and at the same time perfectly safe. Giant fingers touched her flimsy body, and then... ooh.
* * *
In the morning, Lorrie woke and stretched. She looked down at the sport bra she was wearing, and had a moment’s disorientation. She’d woken the same way yesterday, though she didn’t remember it directly. She smiled, wondering if she was Barry or Lorrie, and after a moment she decided it didn’t matter.
But just in case, she tied a ribbon about her wrist and another around the bra before taking her shower. She put the bra back on, and went about her day. Having Barry and the other teens around was fun, but she’d become accustomed to the peace and quiet of an empty house over the past year.
After breakfast she caught up on some of her paperwork, then took her lunch out into the back garden. Pete’s efforts had already made a noticeable difference. She smiled, and nodded. Once she was done eating, she decided, it was time to let him out of her panty drawer.
Once he’d confirmed that he was human again, Pete eagerly accepted Lorrie’s offer of a late lunch before he started in on the yardwork. As the young man wolfed down his food, Lorrie frowned. “Were you this hungry while you were panties?”
Pete paused a moment to shake his head. “Nah. It’s good food, and I’ll burn it all off working in the yard.” After a few more bites, he asked about Gina.
Lorrie didn’t want to bring her back in her normal body, due to the uncontrolled side effects of the drugs she was on. Instead she suggested turning Gina into another copy of Pete, so she’d at least be able to communicate through him. Pete thought that was a great idea, as they could work together in the garden and get twice as much done.
When the second Pete sat up from the bed, the first asked if Gina was OK. It took a little bit to sort out what was going on, but eventually Pete-two nodded.
“Are you going to be OK being Pete for a while, Gina?” asked Lorrie.
“She says it beats being stuck in a drawer all day. And that she’d rather be worn by you, but this’ll do for now.”
Lorrie was taken aback by the revelation, and promised to wear Gina more often. The Petes went out into the yard to get started on the afternoon’s work. Lorrie brought them some iced tea to refresh them after an hour, and was asked if they could have any magically created tools. She giggled and nodded. “I guess it’s time to find out which of us was Barry.”
“You don’t know?” asked both Petes, in stereo.
Lorrie shrugged. “Once you’ve been someone long enough, the whole mind-behind-mind thing goes away. So even if I was Barry, I’m just Lorrie right now. Except he’s the one that’ll remember all this.” She very carefully wriggled the bra off her body without giving Pete too much of a show, and when she pulled the ribbon off it started changing into Barry. “Ah. So I am me, after all. Good to know.”
Barry laughed. “Cool. I hoped I’d confuse you.”
Lorrie frowned in confusion. “I don’t remember changing you into a bra. So how was I wearing you?”
“I wrapped my arms around you then zapped myself once you were asleep.”
“That was dangerous and foolish!” huffed Lorrie. “You could have changed both of us, and we could have been stuck as a bra indefinitely.”
Barry shook his head. “We were lying in the bed. If I’d messed up, we’d have changed back in a few hours.”
Lorrie nodded slowly. “I suppose you’re right.”
“And it was so worth it for the look on your face.”
Lorrie giggled. “Okay, okay. You got me, and no harm done.”
“So,” asked a Pete. “Do we get our tools?”
“Plural?” asked Lorrie after a moment’s hesitation. “Both of us?”
“Sure!” enthused Barry. “Being a power tool sounds like fun.”
“But there’d be nobody to change us back,” said Lorrie, looking nervously between Pete, Pete and Barry.
“Just do short zaps, then. We’ll be back to normal before dinnertime,” said Barry reassuringly.
“Yeah, unless Pete decides he likes power tools more than...”
Pete laughed, interrupting her. “I like the idea of being your dress far more, and you’re the only ones that can change me with the wand.”
The other Pete added, “Gina says you should go for it. She had fun yesterday.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, the sense of power and speed were... hey, could you turn her into a motorcycle?”
Lorrie shrugged. “Maybe. She’d do that for you?”
“Says she’d rather be a motorcycle than a sweaty, icky boy.”
“Hey!”
“OK, icky was my word. Hers was worse.”
Lorrie started giggling. “You’re all quite mad. And amazing. Can I keep you?”
All three agreed boisterously. After that show of support, Lorrie had to give in. She handed the wand to Barry. “Make me something powerful.”
“Can we get some hedge trimmers? That’s our next project.”
“Of course,” agreed Barry, then flicked the wand at Lorrie. “Hedge trimmer.”
Lorrie squirmed nervously as her body contracted and became hard and metallic, then the only thing she could move was her blades. At a touch they whirred to life, making her giddy with the power flowing through her. Hacking away at the hedge was fun, too.
Lorrie was still more than happy to be human once more. She patted her body down to remind herself of her shape, discovering that the plant bits that had been covering her metallic body had carried over to her fleshy one. “Bleah, I need a shower.”
Pete laughed. “We all do. I could set up a sprinkler for us to run through... you could even turn us all into kids.”
All of them thought that was a great idea, so once the sprinkler was set up Lorrie pointed the wand at each Pete in turn and said, “Kid.” They ended up looking about ten years old, a boy and a girl.
“Gina?” asked the young boy.
Gina nodded at him. “Yeah! Let’s play!”
When Lorrie turned the wand on Barry, she got a surprise. Instead of a young man, standing where he had been was a young goat instead.
“Ha ha, Barry. Very funny.” Lorrie watched the kid to see if it was inclined to run. It seemed tame enough, and soon was gamboling through the spray with the children. Still, she fretted and watched, staying to keep an eye on it instead of taking the shower she’d wanted. A damp towel got the worst of the hedge trimmings off.
Once they’d tired of their play, Lorrie restored each of them. Gina started twitching the moment she was full size again, so Lorrie turned her back into a garter and put her on. “Well. I hope she had fun.”
Pete grinned. “Heck yeah. It was weird, though. That wasn’t me, not exactly.”
“Oh? You acted like I expected a young you to.”
Pete and Barry nodded. “Yeah,” said Barry. “I acted like I expected me to as a kid, as well. But it was like it was kid-me in control. Didn’t even look at you when you toweled off.”
“But it was... sort of a copy of me,” said Pete, thinking it over. “He acted like I remember acting as a kid.”
“Interesting. So it... copied you from yourself? That...” Lorrie looked out over the much tidier garden wistfully. “I played here once, as a fairy. As a kid, I guess the change in perspective was small enough I didn’t realize it wasn’t me.”
She didn’t even notice Barry taking the wand from her, lost in the memories. Until she heard him repeat the word “Fairy”, and started to shrink.
The two boys stared down at their six inch tall teacher and her glittering wings. “Wow. How do you feel?” asked Barry.
“A bit intimidated by the two of you.” She fluttered her wings, rising easily until she was head-height with them. Then she tapped Barry on the nose. “Tag, you’re it!”
The fairy led Barry and Pete on a merry chase through the garden, hiding among the flowers whenever she managed to lose them for more than a moment. They never got close to her, and eventually Barry resorted to using the wand.
“No fair,” pouted Lorrie as she stood up in the flower bed. “Making me big again is cheating.”
Barry laughed. “Did you have fun?”
Lorrie danced gaily around him. “So much fun! But you’re right, it wasn’t me-me. It was me-as-a-fairy me, so she mostly did what I might have anyway.”
“Would fairy-Gina be afflicted by her drugs?”
“I... probably not. Nor would healthy-Gina.”
Pete’s eyes widened, and locked on to the leg where the Gina garter was. “Please?”
Lorrie took the garter off, and held out her hand for the wand. Barry gave it to her. “Healthy. Think of how your body would be if it was healthy, Gina.” Then pointing the wand, and speaking at as a single word, “Healthy-Gina!”
The girl that emerged looked only a little like the chubby, sarcastic teen Ms. Dennison had turned into a pack of gum. She was still solidly built, but much slimmer and noticeably less busty than before. Gina flexed her arm, then wiggled her fingers cautiously. “I... I don’t feel all trembly. This is awesome!” She flung herself at Pete and hugged him tight. “Clever, clever Peter.”
Pete hugged her back, but cautiously. “Is this really you?”
Gina looked hurt, then winced. “I... apparently not. She’s... really not happy. Calling me a Stepford Wife among the rest of the things I shan’t repeat. I’m sorry. I can’t do this to her. Can you turn her into something for Pete to wear?”
Lorrie nodded, and soon there was a large pair of satin shorts where Gina had been standing. “Sorry, Pete.”
Pete shook his head. “We’ll figure something out. Or just wait until she’s healthy. We have time.” He picked up the shorts, and rubbed their smooth fabric between his fingers. “Oh... I... need a little time.”
Barry started laughing uproariously as soon as Pete was inside the house. “I bet he does. I hope Gina knew what she was getting into.”
Lorrie shrugged. “She asked. I hope so.” A grin teased across her face. “I know I had fun being something small snuggled up against your bits.”
Barry nodded, then licked his lips and asked, “Would you be shocked if I asked to turn you into a bigger-breasted version of yourself?”
“Yes!” Lorrie laughed at Barry’s reaction. “But only because I didn’t think of it first.” She tucked the wand into her pocket. “But first... dinner. Then that shower I’ve been putting off. Then we’ll see if I can keep my mind when you change me.”
Dinner was rushed. Afterward, Pete asked to sleep in the drawer with Gina once more. Barry asked if he wouldn’t rather be worn by them while they had fun. Pete blushed and said he’d rather be with Gina.
Once they were safely tucked away, Lorrie asked if Barry was serious. “It’d feel weird to wear someone else while we’re making love.”
“What if you thought of it as exhibitionism, and them as voyeurs, not partners?”
Lorrie pondered that for a time, then shrugged. “Maybe. Pete doesn’t seem too keen on it. I wouldn’t mind if they watched, I guess.”
Barry chuckled. “Cool. But for now... Boobs!” He pointed the wand at Lorrie with a flourish.
Lorrie grinned as her breasts started growing, then started to look concerned. The rest of her was shrinking rapidly. “Barry!”
“Oops. Still, this looks like fun.”
